    Good walkthrough! When you do your actual walkthrough, make sure to test everything! Water hookups, pump, levelers, check tire pressure, turn on all appliances, open and close all windows, walk the roof and check all seals, run the water heater, the heater, and the air conditioner. Test all the lights and outlets. Open and close all the cabinets. Turn on the faucets and make sure they work. Feel under the sinks and shower to make sure there are no leaks. All before you sign any paperwork. It is easier to get them to fix items PRIOR to delivery.

    Tip: Make sure the fresh water tank is filled with water to test to make sure everything works including the black tank and gray tank valves. Also, fill both the tanks to check the sensors. You will also need water to test the water heater. You should also have them hook up a hose to test water while on city water. Check the outside hose sprayer connection also.

    We're picking up this camper tomorrow and I'm so excited! We started with a pop-up, then a hybrid and now this. I think this video was awesome and found his walk-thru to be both entertaining and informative. I'm betting my walk thru tomorrow won't be near as detailed, so thank you so much for this video!

    We are having lots of problems with our 265bh and this video helped out a lot. Dude, you are the best. But you never went back to the solar charger and I was needing that info. We are having issues with ours and thought maybe if you did cover the charger you might show me what I’m doing wrong

      I’d like to know more about this feature as well. I’d love to be able to mount a second 165w panel on the roof. I just don’t know if that’s too much, as the book says 300w max.

    If you forget to turn your icebox to off the grid and just leave it on what happens next?
    Because I did this and after I get to where I was going to. I hooked everything back up and went on my day, but my icebox defrosted and lost everything in it. Will the icebox get its self back right in working order after a little while.

      You cannot, the slide needs to be open a foot or 2 to be able to walk through.

    What do you tow this unit with?

    • @cbcreative
      @cbcreative  3 года назад

      F-150 ecoboost. It has the power, but I will be putting airbags on the rear of my truck because it does sag a little even with a good sway hitch.
      I wouldn’t mind a bigger truck and I’ll eventually get one. I wouldn’t take my setup on long road trips, especially if I had the trailer and the truck bed full of gear. I would be at or very close to max towing capacity.
      They do make an ecoboost with a better towing package - I think 11,700lbs! I wish I had it, mines rated at 9700 I believe. It works for now, most of our trips are only 3 hours away and I don’t have to get on the interstate. When I pulled my trailer home from the dealer on the freeway, it was a little uncomfortable over 65mph.
      Which is why I need a more HD truck!
      Hope that helps!

    Opening both gas bottles all the time defeats the purpose of having two tanks.

    • @richl8438
      @richl8438 6 месяцев назад

      You leave both bottles open. The changeover valve only allows gas to flow from one bottle (whichever way the valve is pointing). Once the bottle runs out, the changeover valve automatically goes to the full bottle. The indicator on the changeover valve turns red. You then turn the changeover valve to the full bottle. This allows you to remove the other bottle and fill it and change it out. Then the process repeats.

    80 pissys in the tires? That may be max, but would not run it on that....amirite?

    • @davidwillard8908
      @davidwillard8908 3 года назад +2

      Every video and article I read says 'Max Cold' means when the tires are cold, start at the max pressure. Heating up and expanding is factored in to that rating, while giving the proper support. Lower pressure will cause heating of the sidewall and raise the potential for a blow out.

    • @denden01161
