i can only do 3 buttons when i play with my friend and my friend can only do 5 lol he fails at 9, i really like living in japan for the awesome stuff i dont have back at home in the US, my goal this summer is to be pro with 5 buttons
Well done! I litterally don't know how to express the skill shown in this video. If it was me... I wouldn't even be watching the screen. I'd just physically memorize the whole song, and look for certain key things to keep me in timing. That would bring it from being impossible... to just... REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY hard. (with an extra REALLY)
@AstroMortuum there's actually a program that works with midi files and if you have a midi keyboard you can even use a realy piano...i forgot the name though. hard as hell, never tried it more than a few times.
i actually saw someone doing this in the flesh a couple of days ago in an arcade ... i couldn't beleive how fast they read the notes never mind pressing the buttons... she said that she played the home version for 3 years and the arcade one for a year!!... hell of a lot of practice i tried neon evangelion opening on a noob level and sucked using half of the keys lol...
First of all, Mario Kart Arcade is from Japan... Secondly, it's not that American culture won't "allow" it, The current PNM machines are manufactured for exclusive use in Japan. There are a few independent arcades in the US that have games like this, but they aren't actually supposed to be exported to other countries. I know your comment is like 5 years old now, but it's still a top comment, so~
This song is a 42. It seems that Japanese people are lazy with trills, but that's just what I've seen. I don't think they're nearly as hard as scales (which he performed flawlessly).
Too bad YOU can't do better. I love when people think that they've seen someone else doing something, that entitles them to make comments on how someone sux.
too bad american culture wont "allow" these types of neat, quirky, japanese games in our arcades. have to rely on shitty games like mario kart arcade.. what the hell is that?
Just saw the video.
Holy crap, you're right! That video was amazing!

Probably one of the hardest songs on Pop'n 13.

And here I was wondering why Piano Hero hasn't come out.
what i wonder is how they can even read the notes to play that fast in the first place..
all crazy ddr, piano, weird button push, and sensor game videos you can always expect one thing, azn's. always.

One word, OMG! Or is it three words? But OMG!!
True. It seemed though (to me) you were putting him down, but I must have misread you. :)
holy shit! his hands were so fast!! now that's ASIAN POWER!!!
Why does everyone always call them "crazy japanese guy" instead of "talented japanese guy?"
That's awesome. I bet if I tried I'd fail.. Pump it up is still better!!!
