Thank you for sharing this book. New math teaching methodologies are vastly superior to the procesural math that we were taught. I am a mathy person. I was an engineer as an undergrad and am now a professional math-intensive physical scientist. However, seeing the way math is now taught as I homeschool my children has been amazing. It is so much better now because students learn numeric relationships instead of memorizing procedures. They inherently understand why relationships exist and why we can manipulate numbers through procedure. I wish that I could give this book to everyone who shies away from new math in favor of the procedural math they were taught because that thinking only benefits the parent and disadvantages their learner.
