Now got a new 3 with the Skyactiv X engine, it's a seriously clever piece of kit and I'd be interested to hear your opinion on the engineering if you ever get the opportunity
the orange strip looks pretty nice i must say. And the parkinglot noob that dont understand that you park your car at the back for a reason. i got a fair few dents in de doors because of these peeps. Thanks for the vid btw =D
I would put the decal on the hood up on the sun strip. I just think it would look cleaner and pop more up there. Just my opinion of course. Do what makes you happy!
I bought a ready made sunstrip on evilbay no cutting, it was cheap but I'm guessing out in the USA the postage is high from the UK. I'm finding that out with Stanley lunchboxes. The postage knocks it up to nearly £100

Random question: the connector under the backseat that you can see in the trunk when you take out the trunk carpet, what is it for? Oh and I can’t do the window sticker.. Have rain and light sensors.
Old Thread, but I've seen most of your stuff and like. I find myself at the precipice of choosing some engine upgrades such as: doing a clutch/water pump/timing set/aluminum thermostat housing/Mushimito Radiator(or something all aluminum from another car 2-3 row)/man trans oil cooler/ alternator upgrade. My biggest questions are clutch options, do I want to just keep it simple? would a lightened flywheel and center sprung ceramic metallic stage 2 clutch be undriveable or noticeably peppier? Maybe the stage 1 is a better choice? I am not looking to throw money into the car for no reason but it will get a clutch when I do some other work. I find plastic radiator caps and therm. housings a constant worry, though I have not heard anyone complain about the housings. The $67 single row toy Radiator that comes in these must be easily replaced with a Honda or other similar Rad, have you any info? Sorry so much info, lastly what is your take on any HHO mods, Throttle Plate mods or replacements? Thanks Dan
@@HiroshimaSpirit yeah I’m gonna go wild cause it’s my first car and I love jdm cars, aswell I can see another mod that you can do, the little oval indicator lights on the side under the wing mirrors can be switched for a blacked out LED version which is found on AliExpress for 10€ by searching “Mazda 2 Indicator”. Just the little things like that add to the car and make it look sick
I cannot get a mazda 2 at a reasonable price, most of the dealers are pricing these cars too close to other cars, about 2k shy of used FR-S, Kia Rio, 8th gen SI, NC miata and the list goes on. These pandemic car prices are sucky. Dealers seem desperate as of now, but not willing

You can easily take out the sticker on your windshield by using brake fluid. Took out the whole tint of my m2 and its really great!

That looks really good! Can you not just cut the ends of the ducktape or will that loosen up that part?
I wrap the ends around to ensure it doesn’t peel off.

Sounds like you’re describing the fuel system wiring harness. The tank is under the back seat.
