@@SuaveReads in terms of Disney books - I have the Ahsoka book which I haven't gotten around to yet, but with Ashley Eckstein narrating, I'm betting it's good. Then the two Haunted Mansion books which are both first class. But this being Hachette, I kind felt I knew what to expect getting into these. If they do decide to do a cast recording for some, I think many of the fans would be happy, but I'm really hoping there isn't a tonne of backlash if there (most likely) aren't. The one I'm looking forward to is The Miracles of the Namiya General Store... In November... Ugh... 😅
They Did it with A Single Narrator for multiple characters? Absolutely Disappointed. I liked Vertical's monogatari series audio book were they did it with multiple Narrators.
I hope the narrator does the Jinwoo's voice for the English dub of the anime
Thanks. This + the Amazon sample helped me. Buying it now. Even tho I've read the story online, I'd like to leave some money for the creator(s)
This the same story as the manga?
There isn't normally music other than the beginning and ending of audiobooks.
But yeah, the sound effects is killing the book.
Some of the Star Wars books do, but those are on a completely different level with Disney budget.

I hope they removed these weird sound effects. Totally ruined the experience

Let's Hope they don't do this to other audio books
It will most likely be that way for all the audiobooks. It's more the norm than full cast recordings
