When I first watched the opening, I thought it was just 'okay' but the more I watched it, the more it grew on me and now I think it's one of my favourite anime openings.
Man, Sawano Hiroyuki is the only producer in the world who makes the hype for an anime so much bigger just by composing the soundtrack. Sure, he might use a similar pattern in his opening songs, but goddamn does every single one generate more energy than the last.
R.I.P Dubu (the illustrator) for Solo Leveling which probably helped the story gain popularity. I wish he could see this get animated too with the rest of his team.

Something I noticed is that this Sung Drip woo has more emotion and more personality when he fights in the opening compared to in the manhwa where he was a emotionless cold fighter. If he really does have more of a personality in the anime, I’m sure this show will be amazing!
I won't mind if the anime is different from the manhwa, first 3 episodes already got me hooked. First 2 is the double dungeon which is chap.1-12, I think at the rate they are going, they might adapt around 50 chapters for the season

I only read the first book of Solo Leveling, but they have absolutely DELIVERED so far. The atmosphere felt really good especially with Hiroyuki's OSTs. This might become a classic.
I like how this gives us a good idea of where the season will end off. Also a great indicator of the pacing which is exactly in line with what I thought it would be.

Awesome opening!👏👏 The song slaps and the atmosphere is full of energy. I truly hope that Solo Leveling anime succeeds and that it'll encourage more manhwa to be adapted into anime format.
While i love TXT performance as the singer for this opening (these guys never miss!) it's quite sad that not many people mention Sawano Hiroyuki-san role as the composer when they praise this opening. This is not an individual project but a collaboration between great composer & great boyband. So Sawano-san deserve the credit too for make this opening turn out good.
I only majorly see people complimenting Sawano though, lots of comments that praise Sawano for this opening and don't necessarily talk about TXT, which makes sense since I think Sawano is more well-known than TXT among the anime community

As a fan of TXT, I think this song is awesome. I initially had my doubts on the first episode, but this awesome opening just changed my opinion on the Solo Leveling anime. Masterpiece and amazing!
The Camera movement in 0:31 + is the only way Solo Leveling fights would work with Sung JIn-Woo's assassin-like fighting style and I am more than happy that the anime came to life that way. Amazing!
Solo leveling has a special place in my heart because it was the first webtoon I've read. I still remember the hype while I was reading the chapters. Some people didn't like the story but I loved every second of it. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but the series nails everything it tries to do. In my opinion SL is the best action manhwa.
Animated by the masterful In-Seung Choi and fellow korean studio, they call him the korean Yutaka Nakamura, this opening is insane and respects the original work. Great sense of scale
Yeah Studio Ppuri is such a 🔥. Not surprised since they also made Honkai Star Trails animation, Cyphers game trailer and all Dungeon Fighter Online cinematic.

Ngl. This opening remembers of one of the few manwhas I read back when i was in 5th grade on webtoon, the beginning of the opening gives off the vibe of a manwha i read called Jungle Juice. (Im now in 10th)
Not a TxT fan but I do have listened to some of their music and this op is pretty good and match the first part of the history, I really liked it plus they are korean like the webtoon so it just feels right that the animation studio looked for korean artists to sing the op song

I always blast this out when I watch solo leveling. Absolutely amazing song and I haven't enjoyed a TV series as much as I do for this one in a long time. Fingers crossed for alot more episodes to come

Solo leveling has a special place in my heart because it was the first webtoon I've read. I still remember the hype while I was reading the chapters. Some people didn't like the story but I loved every second of it. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but the series nails everything it tries to do. In my opinion SL is the best action manhwa.
Animated by the masterful In-Seung Choi and fellow korean studio, they call him the korean Yutaka Nakamura, this opening is insane and respects the original work. Great sense of scale

Ngl. This opening remembers of one of the few manwhas I read back when i was in 5th grade on webtoon, the beginning of the opening gives off the vibe of a manwha i read called Jungle Juice. (Im now in 10th)
Not a TxT fan but I do have listened to some of their music and this op is pretty good and match the first part of the history, I really liked it plus they are korean like the webtoon so it just feels right that the animation studio looked for korean artists to sing the op song

OH MY GOSH, it looks absolutely stunning. I was told they outsourced the op to a korean studio to make it more authentic. The animation in the show is already fascinatingly good but if it was the op good the entire show it would be the best looking show to ever be produced in my opinion
