- A major Labour donor may only have had a pass for 10 Downing Street “temporarily”, a minister has said amid a row over alleged cronyism.
Lord Waheed Alli, who has donated hundreds of thousands of pounds to the party, was reported by the Sunday Times to have been given a pass granting him access to Number 10 despite having no official role in Government.

That Starmer is someone who says, "Do as I say, not as I do" (I won't say the actual word here) should have become clear to all when, after the announcement of the investigation into Johnson regarding certain rule breaches, he stuck to his own job like the proverbial to a blanket when it was his turn to be investigated. The same goes for his deputy plank.

I have only in the past 18 months become a pensioner and have the state pension and a work pension. I've checked and I'm not entitled to Pension Credit. The amount of pensions I get, when calculated over the year is £2 under the minimum wage. There are thousands of us pensioners like that Mr Starmer had you thought about that. 😡

I haven’t either. It was a compassionate payment during a particularly hard time, and which my family much appreciated. Allowing energy bills to go up and then claim a windfall tax is just another way of taxing us. They’re doing the same with council tax by making local councils pay for government allowed illegal immigration costs, so council tax will go up, again! I’ve lost it with labour for ever. They’ll demand we tighten belts so they can feed at the trough. Never thought Orwell animal farm would actually materialise! Even tories got close to it with scandals but always pulled back. This level of hypocrisy, so quickly, is blatant sneering.
