The under tail exhaust is the single coolest exhaust on the market
Your so Right- that is Coolx10, Thanks for Watching and Commenting Ray! Thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻.
I rode the 2024 cbr back to back with the 2024 zx6r last week. I've put a deposit on the kawasaki anniversary edition!
I found the zx6r freer revving, it had more bottom end power than the cbr and less heat from the engine. I also preferred the switch gear on the kawasaki, kept getting the cbrs horn by mistake when indicating lol. The cbr also felt very hot thought the seat, distractingly so.
As a female rider, I weirdly found the cbr more comfortable than the kawasaki. It's a slightly smaller bike than the zx6r, which may suit women better as we generally have shorter arms and different torso lengths to men. The Honda also has an amazing up and down quick shifter. The zx6r only has up and the box wasn't as nice.
Both are beautiful bikes, but the kawasaki made me smile more. Great video BTW! Love the channel ❤
Thanks Scarlett!! Excellent comments, You have a AWESOME weekend and stay in Touch. It's great to have you on here for a Females perspective 👌. Thanks for being apart of the Channel!!!🙏🏻
Got the same bike, but it’s a 2022. It’s an awesome bike. And it’s the last of its kind. Old school cable throttle, optional ABS, analogue display. It’s probably the last analogue bike for sale right now. I love it and daily it, and it’s totally smooth and comfortable.
They are Awesome !! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch!
Its not the last lol. In the US even the 2024 cbr600s still have analog display.
@twitchmania7614 thanks for Commenting!
I just picked up a 2024 CBR 600rr
Congratulations, Awesome bike!! Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
Thanks, I am loving it.
Nearly 30 years ago I sold my CBR 600F2 after giving my wife a ride on it not knowing she was pregnant with our first child. Four kids later I'm 61 years old now and my wife buys me this gorgeous '24 CBR600RR.
It's defiinitely old school, unchanged from 2013 I believe, but it has sentimental value to us and with that UNDERTAIL EXHAUST whew! As a Seniour Citizen I just happily putt around on this thing (at 15,000rpm) so I don't really care if the Ninja, R6, or GXR are faster or more responsive with that silly side exhaust.
Dc that's a AWESOME story!! You sound like a great guy, 4 kids - great wife , good for you my friend!
CBR is faster than both the R6 and the GSXR. It pretty much keeps up with the 636 due to its weight being around 30lbs heavier. I’ve raced all of them numerous times. It’s the lightest 600 on the market (without ABS).
You are killing it Ray! Keep it up!
Thk you Rick! I'm trying!! Thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻.
Thank you for sharing. I absolutely love my 600rr
They are Awesome 👌, Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Don't be a Stranger!!
Nice content man!
Thanks Mikail! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻- Don't be a Stranger!
Thanks for the review as always! Zx6r will probably be my choice.
Thanks for Watching and Commenting Rick 🙏🏻- Let me know what you end up getting!!
Nice video ! Just ordered a 2024 model
Lucky you! Fun fun- Stay in Touch Bimmer.
I just bought a 2024 CBR 600RR Saturday
Congratulations Dr!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Stay in Touch and let me know what you think!
Howw? Where do you live? Not in North America I think
@shivanandkalyan875 yep can't be north America.
I live in Lorton VA
There are a few dealers in this area that have them
CBR600RR 👑👑👑
They are Nice for Sure, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻- Don't be a Stranger!
If you get a chance to do the 24 CBR600RR please please do so
Great review!
We’re not getting the new model here in the states.
Ok, but the united states is not getting the one with tft and all the good stuff.
Yep
@@RayBowdenRidesGood stuff meaning all the expensive to fix cheater aides when (not if) they break and adds around 30lbs. No thanks. 😂
Wat do you think about a new rider at 230 lbs and 5.11 , would a zx6r be an ok bike to start out on
If you have alot of restraint with that Right wrist maybe, really like a Ninja 650 would be better , I know that's not what you want to hear - thanks for Watching and Commenting Sergio- let me know if you have any more questions!!
I would stay away from Kawasaki my friend. They’re pretty well known for mechanical issues. Specifically crack bearings and transmissions.
I just sat on gsxr 750, ninga 600, cbr 600 and the honda was the most comfortable with the gsxr a close second.
Roger that
I sat on the Honda the Gixxer and the zx6r last week at the store and I would also say the Honda was the most comfortable albeit only slightly. 5'6 btw so might depend on the rider height.
@log0n thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻
Which of the two bikes had a lower seat height when you sat on both?
Probley the Kawasaki, but I could be wrong- but from what I remember. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
i read somewhere online the 2022 has power modes, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake modes, and autoblipper. Is that not true because i noticed you said you are manually shifting, or did you just not have quickshifter enabled?
Not double sure, but it definitely didn't have auto blip when I rode it. Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
@@RayBowdenRides Thanks for reply!
The euro version has quick shift and all the adds
@4325Airborne yep, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
the Kawasakis are flying off the shelves.. but you know.. if you love Honda, you love Honda.
Yep,Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Don't be a Stranger!!
And they’ll be back at the dealer with mechanical issues soon after. 😂
@@EyeForKnowledge. which ones are you saying will be back at the dealer ???
@@RAILWAY_FILMS Kawasakis. They’re not known to be very reliable. They’re fast and powerful and I love the way they look but I’ll never buy another one. I’ve had two and both were bad news. I have four buddies with ZX10’s, two of which have had major mechanical issues. All my Hondas through the years (25 of them) have never given me any problems. Neither have any of my friends’. I’m not trying to hate on Kawasaki. Like I said, they’re amazing pieces of machinery. Just speaking from my experience that they have problems.
Just watched a video where a brand new ZX6 had a check engine light on. I started LMAO. Like, yeah. That’s about right. 😂
@EyeForKnowledge. Thanks for Commenting- it's a open floor to discuss anything motorcycle related. Good or bad we must discover things by talking- communicating and research. Thanks again for Commenting!
Thank you
Your welcome Thomas, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻 and being apart of the Channel.
So torn between this and the zx-6r, I'll just haft to see them in person and see what just feels right.
Look at them in person and see which one talks to you. The Zx6R is Sweeeet - I'm warning you. Stay in Touch!
The new 2024 zx6r just got updated electronics. New TFT display. And quickshifter. But the new cbr600s still have old school display. In the US
@twitchmania7614 yep, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
The deciding factor for me was insurance cost. $1950/yr for the zx6r and $590/yr for the cbr. For reference i am a 20yr male with no tickets. Insurance companies see the name “NINJA” and think its a death machine.
Zx6r his pretty much better in every way but kawasaki is known to crack frames if you go down. Hondas a bullet proof
I dont get it. So the Cbr600rr 2024 is just a 2022 with new fairings? I bought a 2024 but cant tell what to search for when it comes to aftermarket mods.. Am I able to use things like Radiator guards from 2022 on my 2024(USA EDITION)? ANYONE KNOW?
The European edition is got more features, It's a New Bike! Enjoy it and stay in Touch! I'm not sure on all the extras available for it- but there should be a TON of stuff available for it!
If you like twisting wrenches and mechanical issues, buy a Kawasaki. If you like reliability, buy a Honda. Kawasaki has always been well known to be the least reliable of the Japanese sport bikes. Specifically crank bearing and transmission issues. I’ve had numerous kawasakis through the years and a lot of my friends have ZX10’s. And they’re all jacked up. Electronic issues, engine and tranny issues.
Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Is the an ABS model and should I get with or without ABS?
I would say ABS.
@@RayBowdenRides thanks for the respond. I will get the 2024 Honda CBR600RR with ABS this week.
@CheezyBurg3r You'll be glad you got the ABS Model- Stay in Touch!!
I bought the 24 cbr600rr abt a month agi with ABS. Its a great bike @CheezyBurg3r
ABS sucks. Especially if you’re riding aggressively. It’s so annoying. Not to mention adding 25lbs to the bike. That’s the best thing about the CBR. It’s the last true supersport. No rider aides, no ABS, no computers. Just you and the bike.
Analog tac > TFT screen.💯
Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, Thanks for being apart of the Channel!
@@RayBowdenRides between this and the gsxr which bike do you prefer ? And which bike is more comfortable on your lower back ?
@lynxeffect84 the gsxr I think , go sit on both- don't make a decision till you do- let me know what you end up doing!!
That thing looks like it dosent have a gear indicator. Is that correct?
Drew I want to say your right , but I could be wrong.
I have one. No, it doesn’t have a gear indicator beyond neutral.
@tabbikat2299 thanks for Commenting young lady, Thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻.
The zx6r is slightly more comfortable, but I use the term "comfortable" extremely loosely. I have to stop and stretch every 30-45 minutes on my 2021 zx6r. I'm going to switch to a naked bike next.
You'll love it,Ride all day machines!
I don’t have to stop except for gas while riding my CBR. Ninjas and Yamahas are extremely uncomfortable. They’re designed for the track. While the Hondas and Suzukis are more street friendly.
Good morning people!
Good morning Superduper!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Have a AWESOME day!!
You too sir! @@RayBowdenRides
@superduperkid3143 thanks for being apart of the Channel!
Ray, the lack of snap you feel is probably due to it being 600 as opposed to 636cc.
Could very well be, Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
Could also be the fact he never hit the rpm range for the cbr to shine. pretty low rpms throughout and definitely not where a cbr600rr shows it's magic
That is literally a 2017 cbr600rr 🤦♂️
I kinda think so too. Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻.
it's not a real cbr 600 rr 2022
Hmmm ,what do you mean?
How?
That's what I'm wondering Drew?
@@RayBowdenRides i think he means its not the updated 2024 model (which Europe just got now) and Japan had since 2021 or 2022.
They haven't given us the updated one.
@garygrewal2900 gotcha 👌, Thanks Gary!!
