There's always some cool place to hit! ;-) I'll mix it up more on the next vid, too.

You are fortunate that your son is also interested in studying with you. Don’t take that for granted I couldn’t get my son interested in this kind of broke my heart a little because we could’ve shared so much through the martial arts but he just wasn’t interested and I couldn’t forcing him

The idea of abanico is a quick reverse half strike. And most arnis master can show.you a fancy quick multiple abanico. Deadly art if you can apply it perfectly.

Yep, they're great stuff. I show fairly slowly in this basics video so people can see. Abaniko just means fan - it can be a half strike, or a all the way through or a 360 degree change (as in pilantik).

You can make more power of striking if you move your hips

Absolutely - syempre naman! I cover that in another video in which I make my circles much bigger (ruclips.net/video/PhJGRypuUX8/видео.html). I normally have rather tight hip motion coming from my internal arts training (which you can clearly see - I just watched it again to be sure). Circles will also naturally get smaller over time while at the same time growing more powerful.
