The funniest thing about Lottery winner is he runs off into Rad Scorpion infested Desert and dies I followed him
He gets what he deserves.
I found him at the NCR prison when I wiped it out later in the game.
No... For being a rude piece of shit... Like you.
Chrisfragger1 ho is he rude?
Jimmy Estrada I can't tell ya how many memes I seen of that XD
Whoever voiced Oliver you get a 10/10 for voice acting.
Annon J. It’s my boy Yuri Lowenthal
Yuri Lowenthal voices easily like, 40% of the people in this game (including the male courier)
Bob Higgans doesn’t he also voice spider man in the ps4 game
Wasn't he also Ben 10?
Yiannis The Mannis yeah he was, he was also sasuke in the English dub of naruto
I remember killing that guy after he told me he won the lottery. Afterwards I took his lottery ticket to see if there was a reward.

I killed him cause I'm already villified by powder so I thought he would attack me
I assume that whomever did the face re-textures decided to remove some of the head-wear from characters like Boone and Inculta. Gotta be honest, that's a pretty arrogant decision. Sure, their faces look 'better' but you lose some good characterization without Inculta's wolf-hood or Boone's aviators. Just seems like a vain thing to do, if that were the reason why.
Yes, but he wears it again after talking with you. When you jest him on Strip, he asks if you remember him - well, this mode makes it possible becouse the courier sees his face, not those sexy googles and furry cup or helmet or whatever it is :)
Oh, that's the reason I thought Jacklyn looks completely different to my version..
lel.. I'm such a dummy
My thoughts exactly
Least Ghost looks perfect with it.
You really should do a video analyzing Vulpes Inculta's character. About how well-spoken and polite he is in comparison to other Legion members but actually being one of the few characters in the game with Very Evil Karma.
He was supposed to be intended as a companion along with Victor (the securitron) and Benny, but the developers dropped the idea due to lack of time.
It's interesting that a Very Evil Karma character was intended as a companion and how other characters (such as Caesar or Ulysses) occasionally drop bits of information about him. He also gives you two quests he could have managed himself but his excuse is something along the lines of "I like to act through lackeys, such as yourself".
Besides, he's obviously very intelligent but, at the same time, he believes in the System that feeds him off (his dialogue about principles and betrayal hints that he believes he's truly doing the humankind a favor by wiping Nipton from the map). He's very similar to Burke from Fallout 3: evil to the core but also a hopeless believer in a cause he thinks it's good and right.
What do you think? Up to the challenge?
People, back me up so he would end making such a video!!!
You are very complimentary. I take great pride in being well spoken, but no where near the amount of pride I revel in when I take the word of the mighty caesar and make sure that it is the last thing the filthy degenerates I slaughter, hear.
I agree to this
I am loyal to caesar and caesar only
I’m so mad that Vulpes, Benny, and Victor didn’t make it out as companions
@@authorhazel1554 same also I was disappointed once I realized sunny and victor was not able to be companions, how they both were set up in the game made it seem that way.
Fallout NV has always been to me a game where it's more about exploring the ethics of a post war society and how it has changed human morals and ideas. Everyone knows about the war, but it seems that the people of the wasteland don't care much that the war happened so long ago. They care about rebuilding a society long lost, and pursuing morals that are long forgotten. NV conveys the worst of mankind, but in a way, it's simply is human nature since the world isn't as simple and care free as it once was. This game is a masterpiece, and for me, encompasses a story of dread and pursuit of morals and an impossible society that is quite simply, a work of art.
and as always, great video Oxhorn :)
Battlefield 1 yeah

This is exactly why Fallout New Vegas is the best. So many mysteries and secrets.
Ahil Boy it encourage you to keep moving

Oh what the fuck was that?
Don't know,but...fuck it
I love exploring new places and finding tidbits of backstory and piecing it together, it's just so rewarding to find out what happened.
Ahil Boy what i find crazy about all the fallout games is that the sole survivor is frozen when all this is going on.
That's actualy a very interesting thought. I wonder what else happened during that time and hopefuly New Vegas 2 or something along those lines gets developed.
@Totino's Pizza Rolls you know it's in the middle of a desert right ? Kinda hard to make that look nice 😂😂😂😂😂
While the massacre of Nipton is certainly a memorable and dramatic introduction to the Legion and its brutality, it also seems like Vulpe's actions work against the Legion's interests. He wishes the Courier to spread the story of what happened so as to horrify and demoralize the Powder Gangers and the NCR, but he's also spreading the message that the Legion shows no mercy to any civilians it captures. It will be far more costly for the Legion to conquer and rule over the area later if they encounter resistance from every town who know that surrender isn't an option.
I agree. Its just way too evil of a faction with really no redeeming qualities at all. No grey area.
+Randy Parsons I don't know. The Legion is kind of like a force of nature. Survival of the fittest. I think that's why they use a lot of animal symbolism. Humans are animals after all. You don't call a lion evil, when it eats an antelope.
Randy Parsons its true the legion is evil albeit lawful evil but without them all the land they own will descend back to tribal barbarism. I guess that is why mr house does not want caeser harmed, maybe replace him and reform the legion. At least they keep roads safe and no bandits are to be found.
Surrender is an option generally since they will add "captures" to their ranks if they prove themselves worthy enough. It is just that the Mayor of Nipton was very corrupt and the town was guilty by association.
"At least they keep roads safe"
until you piss them off and Caesar starts sending hit-squads after you...
As ranger ghost said the town was asking to be burned, just not by the legion.
Boxcars called me "The Powder Gangers Angel of Death" when I met him.

The Legion to me is truly one of the most interesting factions in any video game. Ever since this game came out it seems like a large portion of the fallout community use the Legion as a simple punching bag. If you ask me I think their tactics, goals and methods are realistic, terrifying, and effective. Even more still many of the notable members of the Legion are incredibly interesting. Using Vulpes Inculta as an example when I first saw him in nipton I had mixed feelings of disgust, admiration, hatred and intrigue and that's all from one interaction with the guy. To be honest I wish the game explored the Legion a bit more. Great video anyway.
Maybe so but doesn't change one big factor. Once Caesur's dead, the Legion will die with him.
well, i've heard most of the legion got cut
Obsidian had a lot more planned for the Legion in New Vegas. The Legion weren't originally supposed to be as small compared to the NCR when it came to locations and size. There was supposed to be an entire part of the map dedicated to the Legion which was supposed to be their land. There was actual civilization there with plenty of quest to do. It would give players a fair chance to be a pro Legion character. Sadly, due to time limits, they couldn't finish everything and had to work with what they had finished at the time to flesh out the Legion as best as they could. Fortunately, they successfully did and created one of the best factions in RPGs IMO.
I love the legion, even though I never side with them (blocks you from too much content), because they are the most efficient and effective faction in the Mojave. The legion, canonically, would win against the NCR easily. Their money is worth more (and will be worth more later on, because the NCR lost the gold they backed their currency with during the brotherhood war), their spy chain is extremely effective (had spies in the NCR since before the first battle of Hoover Dam), and their chain of command (which got cut, but NPCs remind you the legion won't die with Caesar) is set up very well.
UndeadTurning ? You really don't pay attention to the issues at hand with the Legion do you? So you approve these people destroying towns, raping young women, forcing boys be soldiers, using childs as suicide bombers. And just because those NPCs say it, doesn't mean it's true. The leadership is fucked, Lanius is not fitted to be leader, even if Vulpes lives, a very likely civil war would break out. Yeah their effective as a military but as a nation? They fail because their now making the very same mistakes that the Ancient Rome did and will likely share a very similar fitting ending, spreading themselves too thin, wasting lot of their soldiers on the Mojave. The Legion cannot have both West and East, they can only hold one, it will take too much manpower they don't have to hold both. Yeah it's your opinion, your choice, but even so it's not one I agree with but if that's the opinion you want do then alright, your decision, doesn't mean others are gonna agree with it.
Also, this particular scene is the main reason that I always give my courier skill with a shotgun.
Ever since I played through the game the first time and saw that you can turn rolls of legion Denarii into coin shot, I collect all the coins I can and then... Pay any legionaries I run into their final wages.
New Challenge: The Devils Due - Kill 20 Legionaries with Coin Shot armed Shotguns.
Lol me too or we can just nuke them in the divide lol
There should be aside quest for that called ,”worth his salt.” 😂
I wish New Vegas would have made Vulpa stronger with a larger more intimidating force. I remember I did the same thing and killed him and his entire crew and all I could think of was, "This small group took over an entire city? I took em all out with my pea shooter. Ceasars legion ain't nothin'."
They lost their teeth immediately to me. It was open season after that and it sucks because they are supposed to be some big bad force and this is your first real encounter with them. This encounter should have ended with my death or my narrow dramatic escape instead of a quick slaughter for slaughter.
My first play, I managed to kill him and his buddies too. I was so disappointed and found it hard to believe the whole town wouldn't do anything and just let them get murdered.
Joseph Matthews that’s what Vulpes explains to you; he says that when the legion entered the town they were already outnumbered and that the people of Nipton were therefore cowardly to not act and try to save “Loved ones” as they were dragged away one by one. Every person in Nipton was apparently just holding their own ticket hoping that they would win and get out of consequences instead of trying to fight back.
This combined with the Mayor’s selfish deal with Vulpes(A.K.A. Mr. Fox) to trap both the NCR and Powder Gangers explains pretty well how they were able to raze the town of Nipton without even suffering any losses or retaliation from the townspeople, The Mayor only made the deal because he thought he’d be getting a sweet 8,000 caps out of it instead of being burned on a pile of tires
That's the point
Vulpes inculta says that it was nipton's citizens fault because they could very easily defend themselves but did not
In my game i followed him for a while, and he got killed by viper gang randoms along with his crew.
I killed the vipers and took everybody's stuff

Vulpes Inculta is Latin for ‘Wild Foxes’
interesting, that means Vulpes could very well be of the Blackfoot, the first tribe to align with Caesar, as that is a very tribal sounding name, Wild Foxes could very well had been his original blackfoot name, then it was turned Roman by Caesar.

Vulpes; "That we are strong, and they are weak..."
yeah, you sure showed us how 'strong' you are at (1st battle of) Hoover Dam.
To be fair, the legion whooped them at the second one if the courier didn't exist.
To be fair they whipped the NCR's ass at the Dam, but their defeat was only caused by Graham's arrogance.
I haven't seen a burn that bad since Joshua Graham was thrown into the Grand Canyon.
People really don't understand the first battle. The Legion took over the dam but they chased the rangers to Boulder city to finish them off.
That ending is beautiful. I love how you role play with each video and really inject yourself into the story. Video games are a medium and your interpretation of the stories make it art.
The vital essence is likely the booze in the locked fridge. Do you know of any other locked refrifgerators in NV?
Samuel Peacock The mcbride refrigerator may be locked because of their meat being there, not 100% sure about that through
It's a reference to Doctor Strangelove, where General Ripper was obsessed with the idea of women "stealing his essence", as evidenced by him feeling tired after sex. "I do not avoid women, but I deny them my essence".
I presume this somehow ties into the prostitution element of Nipton.
I stopped the watching the video and specifically scrolled through the comments till someone actually mentioned Doctor Strangelove. Thanks voilet.
Samuel Peacock Do you actually think this reference/meme is funny? Honestly? Youre a sad person if you find that shit laughable.
cowboykiller Same, I knew the reference but i wanted to see if someone already pointed it out.
You missed something interesting about Boxcar’s Dialogue. If you go into the powder ganger camps and kill all of them, or just get a bad reputation with the powder gangers I believe, he starts freaking out. He then calls you “The Grim Reaper of Powder Gangers.”
I assume me walking in the room with a Shotgun wasn't a pleasant sight then?
It was never about the prostitution or the gambling. The mayor, the town, the Legion did not kill them because they did drugs or sold sex. Had that been their goal, the Legion could have worked independently. They made an offer to the town. Caps for blood. Blood of the Powder Gangers. Blood of the NCR. They were not forced. The mayor could have said no. The people could have said no to the mayor. They had their choice. They had freedom. They chose to sell the lives of their customers, dealing with an organization they knew was going to kill or enslave these people.
Would it have been more honorable for the Legion to respect this deal? Nipton was not merely a town with a brothel. It was a town that had no allegiance beyond caps and fame. The Legion may have executed the Powder Gangers and the NCR, but it was the people of Nipton who killed them through this agreement. For the promise of 8,000 caps.
Should the Legion have let the mayor go free? This man who daily risked conflict between the Powder Gangers and NCR, and planned to abandon this town after cashing out the blood money? The Powder Gangers, convicted criminals who paid for their freedom in the blood of their captors and regularly attacked passing caravans? The NCR, who are the direct enemies of the Legion? Or the people of the town, who turned over their authority to a wandering con man in exchange for the promise of economic growth? Who played willing roles in the mayor's deception? They did have the freedom to make bad choices. Not once were any of them forced to let this happen. They chose to invite dangerous people into their town, chose to conspire with slavers and killers. Why should it be surprising that people who lived on betrayal would die by betrayal?
This town was stocked with weapons. Shotgun booby traps in a house, not in the hands of a defender. Land mines placed indoors to protect from their neighbors, rather than outdoors to defend from enemies. Military grade robots used to impress women for sex instead of protecting the town. The whole town was a whore, loyal not even to itself. Every member of that town stood alone and CHOSE to let their neighbors, customers, protectors, and family members die. Not one person chose to stop them. This was the result of their choices.
Had the Legion not come along, it was only a matter of time before the NCR and the Powder Gangers clashed in the town, and bodies would have piled up either way. This was an amoral town, who played a dangerous game and lost.
Nicholas Randall
Damn son, my thoughts precisely.

Move along legionnaire
Justin Ganther The North Korean people are fed propaganda by their leaders. These citizens are not. Trying to justify mass murder is the only way to understand the minds of the victims and killers.
P.S. Degenerates like you belong on a cross!
@@Arvel_The_Swit It's not about what one "deserves".
If you've been through that town, you know there was a Mr. Gutsy, combat ready, with armed booby traps.
You know the mayor sold them all out and hid a stash nearby, intending to skip town.
You know this town serviced competing factions long before the Legion marched in to crucify people.
The town outnumbered and outgunned the Legion 10:1, yet each chose to hold out for their own personal freedom rather than fight back and risk dying for a neighbour.
The town chose their fate. Whether it was "deserved" or not is irrelevant. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

My favorite thing about this is how obsidian sets you up to prove their own point in this mini-story. I’m sure everyone killed that lottery guy on their first playthrough, because he was annoying, and most importantly because they didn’t know what the “lottery” actually was. You thought you were gonna get some caps out of that encounter, didn’t you? Then, you enter a town and see that these people were destroyed by their own self-interest, and you stripped a man away from the only thing he won for YOUR own self-interest. Not me. But I will on my next playthrough.
I assumed the scorpion infested desert would claim his lonely mad rambling soul.
I'm sure someone's mentioned this earlier, but fun fact: crucifixion generally results in death by asphyxiation. The way the body is hung, the executed can't breathe properly unless they hold themselves up to free pressure on the chest. Thing is, muscles only hold for so long; so when the chest/back/shoulder/arm muscles are too fatigued to support the body weight, the body slowly sags lower as muscle power fails, re-introducing that pressure on the diaphragm. And then -- typically a few hours after being strung up, and at great, painful length -- the executed suffocates.
So they wouldn't die of exposure or blood loss unless either crucified in ungodly harsh conditions (but we know that the Mojave of FO:NV is survivable for at least that long) or sliced/stabbed up before being strung up (spear-in-the-side Jesus style).
So, ya know... fun fact.

I remember starting my NV play through. I wasn't taking the game particularly seriously, I didn't know much about the franchise, I was just passing time, doing little side quests here and there. Although, when I got this quest from Ghost and I first walked through Nipton, it all became real. Seeing all the remains and burning piles of rubble made me feel a real sense of dread that I hadn't felt since playing Bioshock Infinite. Honestly, seeing the powder gangers (who I didn't like very much to begin with) still alive and crucified was heart-wrenching. I hated the Legion with a passion from that moment on, especially after hearing what that awful man had to say. I only regret that I let him get away because I knew I wasn't skilled enough to kill him yet. But, I made up for that when I killed Caesar later on in the game. The Legion is poison and yes, the NCR has corruption, but they're the only faction that can really do anything about those monsters on a grander scale than a simple shoot-out.
I love that he says they deserved to die because they lived in sin, but the legion sells slaves and worse.

what do they do thats morally worse? They dislike drugs, women and dissolute people

Nipton did not deserve that type of treatment/punishment. When I first played FNV, watching this part of the game made me dislike the legion entirely. So what if it was a town of vice, the same can be said for New Negas and most of the other towns in the Mojave. I dislike the powder gangers but they're no where near as bad as the Legion not even close.
NYDarkknight I mean New Vegas is definitely not nearly as Two-Faced(or three-faced in this occasion) as Nipton, The NCR have their Military Police office and an Embassy inside of the New Vegas strip while you won’t see a single Legionnaire or a Powder Ganger inside of New Vegas(even in freeside). I prefer the take that Ranger Ghost has on it, “Nipton deserved to be burned, but not by the legion”
I actually just finished this part of NV about an hour ago on my replay. it's an amazingly well done set piece. the story telling in this game is really well done.

Prostitution gambling and drug abuse isn't cause for execution, i do not support such things but killing these people was not okay. In terms of your decision to execute the guy who killed the town he was a murderer and in the fallout world there really isn't a court that you can turn him into so killing him would be considered justice as he was a mass murderer, execution would befit him.

The guy has range when you hear him do lighter voices (Kiyo in ZB, Wally West in Young Justice) and darker (Vulpes here and Silco in Arcane: League of Legends).
Anyone else mercy shoots the crucified Gangers? For all the shit they did, may as well put them out of their misery.
8:29 This is where I love the Decrucifixion mod; I always feel bad for anyone who gets crucified, and it always hurt to never be able to save them.
I really like your videos Oxhorn keep up the good work. On a side note, can someone please give me a logical reason as to why the Legion is a better faction than the NCR if you play the game as a woman. I have been playing video games for over 30 years and I cannot for the life of me understand this love I keep seeing for the Legion.
I know this is a pretty late reply, but I've nearly completed my very first play-through of FO:NV. The Cons of the Legion are pretty obvious, so I won't retread them here, but there ARE some objective good points about them as well.
1) Corruption in Legion controlled territories is pretty much unheard of. Strict discipline and the reality of actually facing (Extremely severe) punishment if caught means that just about every military commander or gov't official is 100% honest in all of their dealings. Anyone caught with "their hand in the cookie jar" is likely to get that hand removed (Along with all the rest of their skin while the executioners are at it). Contrast that with the NCR where political and bureaucratic corruption are routinely at obscene levels. Whatever else his faults, Caesar wasn't wrong when he described the NCR as "a loose conglomerate of rich individuals looking out for themselves at societies direct expense".
2) The Legion has got it's act together enough to have actually stabilized the regions it's dominated. Unlike any other faction yet portrayed in the FO series, the Legion has actually got its ducks in a row enough to have driven out Raiders, Super Mutants, and whatever other mutated post-nukes monstrosities that plague literally everywhere else in the FO universe. As a direct result, it is bar none, the safest region in the country for it's inhabitants. Travelers through the region are actually so safe that they don't even need to be armed to safely travel there. None of which the NCR has actually done, or (Near as I can tell from my admittedly limited knowledge of the lore) bothered to invest any real effort in.
3) While not a point in the Legions favor per se, it's important to notice that we've only ever seen the Legion from exactly 1 perspective: The receiving end of their military might. It's admittedly going to be nigh on impossible for most people to find anything noble in the "Barbarians across the river" who are about to burn down your town. Not to ice over the Legions obvious Cons, but do remember: We only see the very worst part of them. We never actually get a look at the actual "Civilization" part of the Legion.
Thunder Cricket If you play with the legion you get some of that perspective
@@thundercricket4634 The same way we never see the "Civilization" of the NCR. A lot of people hate on the NCR only based on their frontier, which is stretched so thin they can barely hold the dam by themselves. But the NCR itself has existed and ran for over a century, with a democracy and regular presidential elections. It's territories are just as safe as the Legion's, if not more militaristic. If the legion weren't incel slavers, I think a lot more people would choose them over the NCR because of the safety of their communities, but at the same time the NCR is an actual republic of the United States government, and the closest we'll get to ever restoring America to it's former glory. However it does have unchecked corruption in it's government like you said (where's Roosevelt when you need him?), so to me, it just seems like the lesser of two evils. Plus, people with love for the Legion seem to like it more because they think slavery is edgy and cool, or they're top-tier trolls, rather than their settlement security.
Personally, I think the Legion and NCR should team up to wipe out the Imperial and Thalmor bastards. Skyrim is for the Nords
They discipline the wasteland land but are too stretched and not enough numbers and they can't old objectives or territory they can raid but not dig in and all you have to do is use ypur guns of explosives to easily take them out
@@tylersoto7465 Factor in being a female; in their territory you have no rights, you are a brood mare or slave. Yes, they have discipline but no education. No backup plans for when Caesar dies. He leads through charisma, not wisdom. The Legion is based off of the Roman Empire in its decline.
ret-ret-retribution ret-ret-retribution
Imagine modding vulpes to have no dog on his head
8:45 That's interesting that they dressed him that way; looking like a Roman who would have the power to condemn someone to a crucifixion.
I kinda feel like you missed the point Vulpes was trying to make, of course he dislikes the drugs, whores, etc. but the main thing was the towns dishonesty. They literally served the legion, NCR, and powderGangers at the same time, they were 2-faced or should I say 3-faced. The town is as more than happy to set a trap for people the town had befriended. Vulpes may have gone to far but the townspeople were just a bunch of snakes and way worse in my book.
The only difference is the Legion makes its cruelty manifest. Right in your face, so you know the consequences. The NCR? They merely rot your soul as you fall deeper into drugs and diseased whores
Sharklasers kinda seems like the Legion openly enslaves and murders as it expands while the NCR use a sort of enslavement through bureaucracy and tries to sweep things under the rug like the Bitter-Springs massacre
Uh... no. The mayor was obviously bad, but slaughtering an entire town is not less bad.
I love the legion so much.
Ave, true to Ceasar
Ave, true to Caesar
Doğukan Sertdemir umm what? Not that I love the legion but your flat out wrong...they enslaved women not slaughter. Any useless women was sold off as a slave. Now regarding blacks....do you have lonesome road? Ulysses is black ( according to fallout wiki his character is African-American) and was formerly legion. So yeah basically everything you said is wrong. Lemme rephrase your sentence for you though...”you like slavers, and that’s a pretty shit thing to like”
@@ashestoashes6809 1.) Have you been in Nipton 2.)Because they have black soldiers doesn't mean they like or respect blacks, check history.
@@ashestoashes6809 wrong for having an opinion, did he say the legion is morally good?
Yes Man
speaking of morality, is it moral to gun down fleeing enemies? I do it too but the thought just crossed my mind.
Andrew Sayler all is fair in love and war
***** yeah...fair
You attack me?
I kill you
You love me?
Ok then
You doesnt love me?
Go fuck yourself
Andrew Sayler *hits you with a fire axe*
*Runs away*
"I didn't mean it!"
Not really. But then again is it any more moral to snipe an enemy while he's sitting down and minding his own business?
I’d say yes, odds are they are just going to regroup, reload and bandange any wounds before coming back.
It’d be one thing if they surrendered though
"Don't act like you doing me a favor i don't give a ****" LMAO classic
I love Boxcars part, he paints a very vivid picture of the events of the lottery
Another cool detail is when you are villified by the powder gangers and when you encounter boxcars he refers to you as the "Powder ganger's grim fucking reaper"
I didn't kill ceaser's legion at nipton because I thought they would wipe the floor with my ass. Now I regret that decission
Played through new Vegas 5 times. Didn’t know about Ranger Ghost! Amazing
Yes Man
Could the 'vital essences' be a reference to the 'Precious Bodily Fluids' scene from Doctor Strangelove?
Funnily enough, the good ol' Kraut in that film also suggested the implementation of a project similar to "Project Safehouse", converting deep mines into shelters for only a small population for around 100 years. No talks about the twisted experiments, but his department liaised with the private sector for research and development *cough* Vault Tec *cough*.
There is a lazer rifle right south of Nippon in the trailer park. It's in terrible condition but it is good for low level characters with weapon repair kits
I remember watching that guy run into a pack of rad-scorpions after claiming to have won the lottery and get instantly killed. Found myself thinking that was some bad ass karma while I watched it.
Edit: I don't think the citizens of Nipton deserved what the Legion did. They only turned out the way they did because of the Mayor, and it was the Mayor that sold out the town to the Legion. Also in a post-apocalyptic scenario, sometimes societies have to turn to vices to have a shot of survival. In the end, it was the leadership that is brought into question, as even places of Vice, like New Vegas can become thriving societies, and some can even become good places to live in, kind of like Primm (which also had a casino for gambling).
My brother was putting crucified people out of there mercy and one randomly looks at him and says hello in the happiest voice I ever heard it was weird and funny
Great video! I love your channel! i watch your channel while i play fallout 4!
Creative Bricks same
As Vulpes mentioned, it's the Legion way. Some are punished, others made to watch. Nipton was punished, those in the Mojave are meant to catch wind of it and amend their ways so the same fate doesn't befall them. It's grisly shock and awe tactics, but it's effective.
It's brutal, but I can't really say the Legion or Vulpes were wrong to do it. What better place to make an example of than a community that won't even fight to save their neighbors and loved ones?
You're one of the few people with the correct outlook on this. That really scares me
I gotta say these videos always motivate me to do the most evil legion playthrough possible
This was honestly a terrific introduction to the Legion in-game. A deranged guy that just won a lottery, a pissed off crippled dude, fires everywhere, these poles with crucified guys on em, and the first words out of the scary guys mouth is "Don't worry..."
Is the vital essences thing a Dr. Strangelove reference ?
flyboy7789 it is
Yes Man
Uuuugggghhhh, I totally skipped the bar cuz I thought there was nothing important there! Now I'm at Novac and I am *NOT* going back to the mojave outpost
Edit: I just realized I can fast travel
Lol
Yes Man
Why's Sasuke yelling at me
😂😂
Also rewatching this series while at work, with headphones on. Awesome series, great memories 👍🏻
11:34 something about the way the legionary charged towards you looks menacing and cool as hell.
You have to remain unbiased when doing lore videos. Otherwise the lore gets corrupted
Do some lore on Ulysses and the divide. That video may take a couple of days to watch. lol seriously I'd love to see some of that.
Austin Turner We'll have to wait for him to do most of the lore of the main game and the 3 other dlc's first
anyone have any idea why the mister gusty has such a wierd voice?
Creative Bricks I think that voice is the normal one in f NV
Oh ok, becouse if it was real i would not be intimidated XD
It would just be going towards me and yelling STOP at a high pitched voice
I always thought it was weird for them to have that voice in NV; in Fallout 3 and 4 they sound a lot more manly (as you would expect)
ikr
Whenever I have a customer with Fallout gear, I point them to your channel! Keep up the great work Ox!
3:18 When I entered this house, I was crouched and didn't notice how there was a tripwire right on the doorway. I triggered it, but didn't get hit and also didn't know where the shot came from. Only about 5 minutes later, by searching for the source of the blast and noise did I find that damn shotgun.
I let the legion go, idk why. I thought, "I'll let you go this time. Only this time."
Yes Man
"Attack us and you won't feel a thing." Okay *Pulls Out Mercenary Grenade Launcher*
The mod you have makes it look like everyone has AIDS
Altough, it's the Wasterland, so maybe that's realistic
aids? some characters like the ranger in Novac go Michael Jackson with this mod, i hate it.
It makes a lot of characters way less distinct. Aside from Vulpes’ hat being gone, his face is way less tall, making him look more generic. Honestly, all the men look like Oblivion vampires.
I discovered your channel a few days ago and I must say that I admire all the work you put in your lore videos.
If I remember correctly, the Vital Essence is a grenade launcher in the safe of the bathroom in the boobytrapped house. Haven't played in a while but there is also a patriots cookbook in the house. Overall great video, Oxhorn!
