I almost got one of these new Automags for myself as a 30th birthday present. Really glad now that I didn't. At the time I decided not to due to the extremely limited availability of .44 AMP ammo. In the configuration featured in this video, these pistols run over $4,000. It's absolutely ridiculous for them to have quality control issues at that price point.
I really wouldn't consider that quality control, since that could have easily been that it was taken apart to be lubed then put back without being torqued tight enough or something. You get stuff like that with car maintenance sometimes, where a bolt isn't tightened enough and things come loose.
@@shred1894 I've just heard too many reports from people who own these things about the guns not running right or being extremely unreliable. It seems that some work and some don't, which does indicate there is some kind of QC issue. That's strange, because these are basically built one at a time as an order comes in for one. Maybe there's just something inherently flawed in the design that makes the guns unreliable.

I need a honey badger in my life. MERRY CHRISTMAS thank you all for all the content. Love all your channels.
For 3 grand you can have a honey badger in ur life. We all need a boss like Matt.
Dude I’m awake it’s like 2:58 in San Antonio and some reason it came past my Mind to recommend this , as I’m typing trying to word everything correctly I see you did it already but with Christmas sweaters lol bad ass love the video
Glad you’re intact Matt and didn’t need to stick a thumb in anything 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Brilliant episode. Pure wholesome ending.
Getting the 12 days of Christmas videos was by far the best time period I’ve had on your channel and I’ve been subscribed for since the OG days
Take-away: A HiPoint is NOT the least reliable handgun made.
Who ever said it was? Just made of pot metal and ugly
hi points are reliable as shit, they are just ugly and heavy
My buddy has 2 hi point pistols and one rifle and they always work
@@oliverattwell8013 Nobody has ever said that, but legends say if you're the first one to put the words "HiPoint" in your comment on most gun youtubers' videos, all the viewers skimming by will see it and their brains light up thinking "he he hi point funny" and automatically like it.
Nobody ever said that. Hi points are very reliable.
Awesome MATT.. such an amazing friend, to put em through the hassle of making em shoot them faux badgers and bringing em out afterwards!!! Merry xmas demoranch!!
Everyday on demo ranch: what’s the weather?
Matt: cloudy with a chance of lead
From Canada, years watching you. This made my Xmas funny I’ll be hitting mercy shortly respect to you and your family. As well as the rest of the demolitia.
Love the work Matt! Merry Christmas as well!
Watching this in the middle of summers and it still bit a smile on my face and put in the Xmas
spirit
Merry Christmas to you and your family! Love how you had them going with that!
Matt has finally made a high quality target stand 🤯 I mean nothing is falling apart?!
Best present ever!! Lucky guys to have a friend like you.
That shootoff was hilarious!!! Trying not to damage a Honey Badger that may or may not be hanging there...awesome! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
You should do one of these in the future at long range and each time the person misses their gift, Matt takes a shot with progressively larger and larger rifles anywhere he chooses on the gift. :)
I love that the guys got a great present. I bet they work hard for it and may be underappreciated.
Best Christmas presentation I have seen this year. Really made me happy to see the gift giving part to the two Gents. The true spirit of 🎄⛄ Christmas!!
Those sweaters were 👍 nice. Wish I could afford the shipping fee going to my part of the world.
Love the videos!!
The 5th shot def removed the fingerprints, that nerf gun is no joke. LMAO you absolutely have the best intro on all of RUclips
Clint Eastwood never uses an AutoMag in _Dirty Harry_
He uses it in _Sudden Impact_
You should sign the sweaters for people, they can frame them as memorabilia if they want. And include a LARGE note warning against washing them. Would be a cool giveaway
I ran over to instagram to watch the intro and honestly Matt it’s probably one of the best so far y’all absolutely nailed it 10/10
These videos actually break my heart
but I still watch them lol
-gets to the end - aw that was nice Matt - thanks Q!~
Not gonna lie I kinda started getting upset thinking his friends were actually shooting the presents. But Matt came through with awesome presents for his friends
The more of these 12 days of Christmas videos I have seen the more I think Matt is Chaotic Evil 😂 love the videos Matt keep up the great work!
From the AM manual: "Before and periodically when firing the Auto Mag pistol, it is advisable to check and ensure that the recoil rods are tight".
They should probably change "advisable" to "necessary".
Red thread locker or a roll pin could resolve this issue
@@scottdpugnificent yeah kind of a lazy design really.
That's a $3800.00 MSRP. For that money, they shouldn't back out in 3 mags.
@@blacksho89 Thats just horrible.
People like holes in there jeans why not bullet holes in sweaters?
I just opened my shirt package and I got one of the sweaters in it. I didn’t count all the holes but I think it’s one of the front shirts because there are so many bullet holes. Thanks Matt!!!
Agreed, 4 grand is a steep price for a shiny paperweight
