I've realised that although I create schedules, I find myself procrastinating because I do not be specific with my tasks. So I spend most of my time thinking about what to do rather than actually starting to do something. This is the reason I've joined the inner compass challenge. I believe this challenge will help me to unlock my fullest potential in life - that is - to create a task I need to get done and commit to doing it.
#insight What I learned today: 1. put away distractions 2. 5s rule 3. break things down, do not wait to be motivated 4. take action, commit energy on your own goals 5. reward and relax yourself 6. make a routine and stick to it Sorry, I am 2 days late on my insight challenge but hope to continue learning. I would love to become better version of myself and be the person I have always wanted to be. Thanks KB :)

challange 1 accepted my name is Ritik mathur i am current nothing that i can proud of. I want to reach the level where i can trigger significant good changes in society and to a level where my parents are proud of and i enjoy doing it. if i unlock my potential and improve my thinking i want to help millions of people like me to be successful and become morally good .
Skipping Relaxation and Reward is what always caused me burnouts and what makes me enter procrastination state. Never skip it people, or you'll have a tough time.
I think what most of these videos are missing are the root causes of procrastination. This is not such a light and vague topic. "Just do it", "5 second rule" and all kinds of time management techniques never really worked for you, right? I'm talking about procrastinators, not about people who are sometimes tired. I think you brought great points but getting to the roots of why you resist doing things in the first place could work really well. Procrastination is not the problem but the symptom.
Totally agree, and I have quite a few recent videos on this exact topic/idea/point. The purpose for this video was more just some simple steps for the immediate now. That said, procrastination (especially if it's chronic) has deeper roots in our psychology and I'd always encourage getting professional support + doing your own self analysis to uncover why. Thanks for your time.
