- DIY Necronomicon book of the dead - My take on this amazing prop. I love the Evil dead franchise one of my favorite movies is Evil Dead 2, I've always wanted my own book, now you can too, it's not too expensive and a fun project.

Currently watching this cuz I have an Evil Dead cosplay shoot where I just happen to cosplay Ash and need to provide the Necronomicon. Thought I’d put some use into my spare time and make one 😤 starting it very soon!

It was so fun seeing people actually hold it for pictures, that made me happy. Plus it’s back home safe and sound. Time to lock it back up in the basement.

Don't worry if the cover doesn't match the picture, this is your Book of the Dead so make it the way you want it to look. A very good look, if you want, measure the journal pages to the pages you printed to see what needs to be cut down. Thank you for a very entertaining and informative video, especially about using red food coloring. Another person suggested using FW ink - red

Instead of paper towels, you can use 1 ply kleenex tissues. That way you don't have the paper towel print pattern.
True, I’m used to using paper towels for all my papier-mâché because I need them strong, and forget this prop didn’t need that. I’ll probably make another one because it was so fun.
