I doubt it would work. Ppl would opt for car/bus/uber instead. Also it's often not so simple. I'm pretty sure it would work only for small percentage of people.
has it to be 31 storey underground like ok elevators may not be there due to there less carrying capacity but this is imsanity i meam several lifts could compensate bruh
Chongqing is a mountainous city, it's very hard to build highways, subways and trains. If you know the landform of Chongqing, you wouldn't be surprised. Chongqing is a beautiful city with amazing facilities of transportation. It's very unique, I was shocked when I first went there.
I envy Chinese transportation system. I've watched so many videos and one can only hope one day the United States can come close to something like the Chinese
Let's be honest, typically all Asians are cleaner than us. It might nor apply to all people, it's still true, you see people throwing garbage so you think it's normal and throw garbage too,and so everyone does it, but in China Noone throws garbage
No, some layers are insider a building, some layers are transfering from a hill to a ground, then goes underground a bit etc. ChongQing is a 4-dimensional city.

Cities:Skylines player puts a metro station on top of mountain, then drags track to a nearby river System message: you cannot put track on water Then he has to use MoveIt to lower the station
In chongqing China, when you thought you are on the ground floor, actually you are on some building's third floor (F3) and another building's third floor below the ground floor.
I'm going to assume that there are also elevators -- for the handicapped, odd pieces of equipment being moved up or down, emergencies, and countless other reasons why they must have elevators.
This subway station is because a large number of people are on the mountain, and the subway line is down the mountain, so the subway entrance is placed on the mountain, otherwise commuters need to go down the mountain to take the subway.
Why it has to be 31 storey underground like ok elevators may not be there due to there less carrying capacity but this is imsanity i meam several lifts could compensate bruh
Epping isn't that deep, but it's bad because you first go up the stairs into the station then go back down to ground level with escalators then keep going down to metro platform
My question Why its so deep? How they build it ? How about the other station? Does the ecalator really only for the subway or there is somehow an underground bulding too?
Why has it to be 31 storey underground like ok elevators may not be there due to there less carrying capacity but this is imsanity i meam several lifts could compensate bruh
Practically this station will not be used as much as other and ending up being just a showcase. Its a construction marvel but not helpful for commuters. A person can reach next subway station within 10 minutes rather than going down for 10 minutes
At least when China would be in danger, as nuclear bunker, it would serve perfectly. Just install the steel doors just like any metro in USSR or allied countries.
Why has it to be 31 storey underground like ok elevators may not be there due to there less carrying capacity but this is imsanity i meam several lifts could compensate bruh
Imagine the day there is no electricity and you are rushing to work......
It’s sliding time I guess
Imagine going home after work. It's a workout.
Mak Vinci the subways drive on electricity so no rush
These places have power genrators
If the subway has no electricity means china is under attack, u need not to goto work anyway.
Put that in many countries with obesity problem without any functioning elevator and watch the obesity level goes down rapidly
I understand why american prefer cars now, lol. Just a question of physics.
whenever i see the word obesity, i always think of america/n
yeah, i’m dumb but America is still the best

This must be the Marianas Trench of subways.
Challenger Deep
Actually, N.K has the worlds deepest subway. It's 96m deep. However not many people get to admire this in such countries...
@@poiuqwerty4283 110m to be exact. The China's is around 105m

Yes
Elevators in China are portals to death
There are elevators, but most of the time have long queues.

At least its clean and efficient, unlike new york city subway which is pure garbage
idiot...of course its clean it was built less than 10 years ago..nyc subway was built in 1960's
it will also be clean in another 10 years when it collapses due to poor maintenence
Sauga Direct hong kong’s subway is quite old as well. but see how hong kong’s stations are sleek and clean with design aesthetic?
Sauga Direct Beijing Subway line 1 was built in 1965 operated in 1969, today still very clean

Fact: There're so many lines crossing at this station that entails multiple layers to separate the lines.

For a while I thought “that’s essentially Epping Station”....
Epping isn't that deep, it's only because the station is raised so one of the escalators just goes back to ground level
Imagine taking a wrong turn...
And you thought three elevators at Epping Station was bad.
#AusGang where you at
Lol. Epping is still a nightmare.

there must be a slide option too..

This is due to the landscape of the location.
I just hope nobody needs rescuing from that station.
I would never dare taking that subway

Me : "... nvm."
And here in the philippines i get mad because there's always a line every morning

It must be really hot down there if not for the air conditioners.
*_The stairs must be equivalent to 15 storeys!_*

I felt like I can't breathe watching this ...
Why do you even build a subway that is too deep in the ground?? Is it safe? What if the structure collapses?
that's crazy construction
