      I doubt it would work. Ppl would opt for car/bus/uber instead. Also it's often not so simple. I'm pretty sure it would work only for small percentage of people.

      Actually, N.K has the worlds deepest subway. It's 96m deep. However not many people get to admire this in such countries...

    Chongqing is a mountainous city, it's very hard to build highways, subways and trains. If you know the landform of Chongqing, you wouldn't be surprised. Chongqing is a beautiful city with amazing facilities of transportation. It's very unique, I was shocked when I first went there.

      Sauga Direct Beijing Subway line 1 was built in 1965 operated in 1969, today still very clean

      Let's be honest, typically all Asians are cleaner than us. It might nor apply to all people, it's still true, you see people throwing garbage so you think it's normal and throw garbage too,and so everyone does it, but in China Noone throws garbage

      No, some layers are insider a building, some layers are transfering from a hill to a ground, then goes underground a bit etc. ChongQing is a 4-dimensional city.

    I'm going to assume that there are also elevators -- for the handicapped, odd pieces of equipment being moved up or down, emergencies, and countless other reasons why they must have elevators.

    This subway station is because a large number of people are on the mountain, and the subway line is down the mountain, so the subway entrance is placed on the mountain, otherwise commuters need to go down the mountain to take the subway.

      Epping isn't that deep, but it's bad because you first go up the stairs into the station then go back down to ground level with escalators then keep going down to metro platform

    Practically this station will not be used as much as other and ending up being just a showcase. Its a construction marvel but not helpful for commuters. A person can reach next subway station within 10 minutes rather than going down for 10 minutes
