Thank you for putting the hub part number in the description!!!!
Helpful video. Just installed a Momo Race wheel and this video helped make the install a breeze.
Awesome! Thanks!
Great seeing you in Funkys stream the other night
LOL you too man. Always fun to listen in on their shenanigans!
Looks really good.
Thanks!
My cruise control didn't work for a long time. I find out it was a vacuum line under the dash right by the steering wheel. This was on a 83 T-bird. Very similar to the Mustang.
Late Model Restoration sells a bracket to mount those cruise control buttons on a Momo wheel
Installed a mono wheel and hub. Makes a grinding noise and it’s harder to turn than the stock wheel.
Nice!!
Thanks Frank 3!
20 years street racing anf i been doing it wrong just because im a selfish person haha but cand do it wrong on the new car thank you so much not sure how many rings i trow away horn keep popping out every time i gun it hahaha thank you man
LOL thanks!
@@Foxedup can't forget the electric tape too around the button haha
Wish someone would show video on how to wire up the cruise control buttons on the momo steering wheel
Good idea. Might do that one day if I ever have cruise control again!
I bought the Momo Trek R35, is this the same adapter I need?
Nice job! definitly looks better. Does this hub work with all momo steering wheels?
I think most, but not 100% sure.
Very nice steering wheel! Did that set up pull the wheel closer to you?
Yes a little closer, but not sure how much. They also make spacers to get it another 1/2” or so.
Do the turn signals still cancel themselves after you turn? I've read some guys lose the function and have to manually turn off the blinker while others still have it.
You had to ask - now I have to go check just to make sure!
@@Foxedup Any luck on that? Do your turn signals shut themselves off?
@@84StangGT - next time I put my car in the air I’ll test it. Just pulled the engine out last week.
I bought the wheel used. Did't come with that ring. Can I use the one that comes with the hub kit?
It’s different - not sure if you can modify it to make it work or not. I tried it on mine before I realized they were different and it seems like the horn button wasn’t fitting into place properly.
@@Foxedup ok. Once I get the hub kit, I'll let you know if it works for me. Thanks!
Did the steering wheel come with the bolts to mount it to the hub?
Yes
Did you order a custom horn button from them yet?
I have not. But thanks for reminding me. I’m gonna do that right now!
@@Foxedup no problem...I'm going to either get a ford one a running horse or a cobra one for my 81 cobra...haven't decided yet.
What is the actual size of that momo? 350mm or 340mm?
Sorry for the delay! It’s right around 343mm.
@@Foxedup thx for the info, i thought mine is misproduction..i
Does this work with 87 gt with the tilt steering wheel?
Should be the same as my 88 GT
Thanks for the reply I was looking to get a NRG adapter but the reviews mention that it didn’t work for the wheels with tilting
also can you install any 6 bolt steering wheel with this adapter?
Did the Momo kit felt lighter than the the stock steering wheel?
Yes, it's lighter.
@@Foxedup thanks 👍
Japanese steering wheel on a domestic car BLASPHEMY
That’s Italian! And on factory Saleens! And Mustang steering wheels were likely made in Taiwan, but I’m not 100% sure on that.
Momo is Italian. Step up your culture buddy.
@@pimpovic2 Yeah i know that but the steering wheels are primarily used on Japanese and Italian cars not American
