Don’t forget about local gov! while state contracts are fantastic, don’t forget about county and city contracts. It’s funny you did a carpet removal job because I run a floor demo/install company. 60% of my business comes from county and city contracts. We work in 8 of nearest counties and 20 of the nearest cities. This means when you secure county and city contracts you’ve just got your foot In the door for all schools, fire departments, utility destments, library’s and the list goes on. It can sometimes be a headache working with the government but it’s worth spending time trying to build a relationship with them.
I guess it depends on the area, we did all the paper work and background checks for our county school board work. We missed the first bid then 2 weeks later we won our first bid. If your area is super saturated it might take longer I suppose

How he being a cornball about how much he got for the contract. How you going to say your % gains but not the income. Nobody going to take his money there's 96K contracts a day new there's no competition
@@DesmondAcha you're accent is a bit thick and hard to understand. So how do I look for the contracts available in my state? I didn't understand the website you said

This was amazing, you are an excellent storyteller and you were very crystal clear! I felt like I understood everything. One question though, was Joe considered a subcontractor? Or did you consider them employees?
@@DesmondAcha Hey Desmond, love your channel. Did you make him an employee for just this contract? Also, does his past performance becomes yours for this job?
Hi all, being somewhat new to the space, I’d love to get your insights on two points: 1. Do you think being a middleman puts us at a disadvantage when competing with specialized service providers for contracts? 2. How do you effectively present your company’s strengths and unique value proposition on your website to impress contracting offices? Thanks for your feedback!
Wow that’s amazing 🤩 I’m really excited I worked in a car dealerships and my job was to book the appointments and I had to keep up with these contacts meet what ever requests they had wanted a price quote for a lease not a problem that’s usually how I got them in and if they wanted a certain model we did dealer trades made sure car was detailed for visit I did all this work for $25 if not sold and $50 if sold . One dealership tried stiff me with not paying on all the visits that came in but didn’t buy . And I was working with salesmen so they would purposely not make the deal go through and then had clients come back later but would do it on my days off . Just to get out of paying me I was livid but if I can get 61 customers to visit in one month then I know I can do this .
This video was very helpful . I wish I would have watched this a year ago. I would have been in a better place. thank you for the helpful information and best of luck to you

State and local contracts can take years to get. With Federal you can win a contract in as little as 3 months.
