- Sometimes it is difficult to figure out how to take a headset apart. If you just need to replace a battery, and you are trying to avoid to destroy the whole darn thing, you better know where and how to pull on things.
I hope this video helps some of you to save their headsets from the recycling bin ....

Before I bought this special screwdriver, I tried a slotted screwdriver 1.5mm, it's can not fit it, but almost the same size. So I finally found the size that should be :
Triangle Screwdriver TA1.4mm

Is detaching the piece from the headband (with the triangular screws) really needed?
Couldn't someone skip that step, pry open the circular plastic piece and get inside?
Yes the triangular screws have to come out before you get to the battery!
Is there a way of complete disassembly of JBL E65BTNC without cutting or breaking anything? I need to open them up as one of the wires somehow got cut in half and my right side doesn't work anymore and I'm out of warranty since last year. How did you do it? Or how did anyone do it? Please, it would help me a lot if you have any tips regarding the teardown of these headphones.

The construction of these headset are pretty solid. But maybe they are somewhat overpriced. They are in fact very sweat resistant also. I sweat a lot (working out), and I have never had any problems with the headset due to moisture.
