This is an awesome reference video for anyone installing a clutch on any Z. I happen to be installing a specialtyZ clutch kit for my 370z TT. This answers "how much grease is too much" and "should I grease the pilot bushing".
+1 tip in the video, running the friction disc on the spindle FIRST before installing. Getting smooth disc movement... Such a great tip!

Hopefully next life I am not 10k miles away so I can service my z32 in SZ. I have that quality stuff in, however craftmanship always makes the difference. Go SZ, Go Z32.

JD think's he's installing brake rotors. Might want to keep an eye on that guy. Maybe some training? 😉 Good thing Danny's there to supervise. 😁

Is the same attention given to other customers cars? Do the other techs follow the same process? Really thinking of shipping my car to Seb. The cost of shipping is killer. Do you guys have a connection for shipping cars enclosed to you?

Yes, I train my guys to follow the same attention to details and to come to me when they have any questions.

Did you change the main seal to prevent future oil leaks as well before installing a new clutch?

How did you get the manual trans front cover off? Mine seems very stuck, and there are limited areas to pry. Thanks

Did you ever have any luck. It’s the same problem I’m running into with mine at the moment.

I would see what is available for the 2JZ since you will be using a flywheel and clutch setup for that engine. I would recommend at least a 6-Puck style clutch.
