- Panta Rhei is a biotope aquarium specialist shop in Germany. It has beautiful biotope aquascapes that are designed to create the best water conditions and environment for the fish.
The fish are so healthy and all breeding in their displays and the livestock on sale features some very rare species.

The stream tank has it all...the sound even. That could be a magnificent aquascape...mosses,Val's and emergent plants like dwarf reeds,papyrus..what you see on stream banks. Little islands of Carex grasses is what we have in bay area streams surrounded by boulders. Of course you wouldn't need to run it full steam 24/7..daylight hours is plenty of exercise for the fish!
That wave tank..on a super long tank? Reminds me of those little desk waves thingys-lol. Would be hypnotic.

This is absolutely inspiring! So many ideas for my tanks now. I think it makes so much sense to simulate a fish's natural habitat for best behavior and breeding, clearly the results are shown here :D

The quality of stuff is so much higher than in the us. Europe aims for perfection and usa aims for size. Just my opinion.
Americans are generally pretty lax when it comes to creating products. I feel its more or less a general idea, for them - than to bother going into the fine details. If it looks okay, if it works pretty good, its usually good enough for them.

Amazing shop and scientific approach with so much attention to detail, I was blown away by the magnets, then the rainmaker, and then to cap it all some mysterious tetras call sp. Roger. Which I think is a brilliant name :-) Thanks for sharing all these shops, really amazing stuff.
