Great video. Do you find monitoring with the wheel of the handle accurate. Compared to the typical follow focus. I have the nano ii and like the idea of handle versus using the wheel.
Nice setup with the battery on the bottom 👍🏻 although I really think you need some rails on the bottom, check out Kessler K-Plate. I cringe seeing your lens hit the table. I also noticed you didn’t mount from the bottom of the camera or battery to the tripod, you mounted to the lens, which product is that? Btw, don’t get the Pyxis, you are already invested & the image will be 💯 the same.
I’ll check it out! And yeah that’s fair! I may make another variation with some traditional rails! This particular lens has a mounting hole on the bottom of it already. I attached my joby plate to it and the joby head to the switchpod! It’s in the description! And yeah if I get the Pyxis it will be strictly for content purposes! 🙌🏾
I was just about to purchase the full frame, glad I waited lol, but honestly i don't think those who purchased the full frame will be too disappointed given all the complaints of the fixed screen & no hdmi.

Im not buying the Pyxis. My 6k Pro has way too many accessories that wouldnt translate. Custom Pelicans case + cage + Audio solution. Maybe I’ll wait to the next generation and hopefully it has higher frame rates by then.

😅Sony announced the fx30 at the same time I purchased the A7iv. I didn’t regret it tooooo much as I do hybrid work.

That’s fair!! They serve two different groups of people! I’d still get the Full Frame for what I need it for!
The full frame version is better than the Pyxis version if you want an out the box run and gun. The Pyxis is better if you want to build out.

Next Gen with higher frame rates and built in ND’s would be incredible!
@@ChrisFranklinJrif I had to bet money, that would make the Pyxis Pro a no brainer. More FPS, build in NDs, and maybe a faster sensor readout.
