He bickers with the others about the Bearenstain bears, he shares his feelings with John for the first time, etc.
It’s plausible. It seems like a major theme of the show is that your past doesn’t dictate your future. Peacemaker, for example, seems to be trying to be a better person. The show fleshes out his humanity, whereas most people found him to be a villain in the suicide squad movie

It's a great show, just good natured and devoted to fun, the only issue is I get the feeling Gunn is trying to hoist his musical tastes onto people. We get it, you like obscure hair metal.
Jody Hill is a dude. He's co-creator of Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals and Righteous Gemstones with Danny McBride. Part of Gunn's pitch to HBOMax was "Eastbound & Down meets Watchmen," so it makes a lot of sense he would get Hill to guest-direct.
The thing about Peacemaker not caring that his Dad hates him is because he thinks he deserves it because of how his brother died. They're both still grieving for him.
On the Batman subject: I understand the argument about Batman Killing villains in order to save future lives when the villains inevitably escape from Arkham asylum and then go on yet another killing spree. However, I disagree with that argument. Batman believes in Justice, even for villains. His job is to catch then the bad guys then let the justice system sentence them. If Batman (Or superman) ever decided it was their job to be Judge, Jury, and Executioner, (ala Judge Dred) eventually Batman would become the very thing he is fighting against. Because you can't believe it is your job to judge who lives and dies without it corrupting you.
So the Justice system in DCEU is the problem. Won't give dead sentence to mass murderer like Batman's Rogue Galery instead give them High (And very costly) Security Prison, Arkham.
@@AlmirYandi20 arkham is an asylum not a prison only one in batman's rogues who gets sent to prison is Penguin everyone is basicly guilty by reason of insanity

John actually improvised all those names🤣!!! This show is PURE GOLD and truly something I didn't know I needed in my life. James Gunn needs to do nothing but R rated content going forward. His Disney/Marvel work pales in comparison to Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.
Loving this show so much and I can’t wait for episode 6 after seeing that teaser. Best show streaming right now. Really loving Adebayo, Vigilante, and Peacemaker as characters and Harcort(?) is growing on me.
I love this show. It's hilarious, characters are great, writing is perfect, production value is gud, performances are awesome, action is gud, the bad guys are interesting and mysterious and deadly. You can just watch this show for the opening credits song, i can watch it 100 times and still not get bored. The only issue which I have with this show is Peacemaker isn't a badass assassin/ vigilante anymore, they have made his soft compared to The suicide squad, there he was toe to toe with Bloodsport but here he barely even shoots or fights, it's usually vigilante or the team members who kick more ass than him. I know here he is going through emotional/ psychological troubles and he is guilty of what he has done and he is kind of depressed/ regretful for the things he has done to his brother and also his strained relationship with his father but still u cud have shown him a bit if a badass. Atleast may be half of what they showed in The suicide squad. I know there will be a hardcore ending with a big finale etc. Let's hope we see Peacemaker kicking some ass there.
"You can't tell, I mean she does a great job". Jody Hill is a guy, he directed observe and report, a lot of Eastbound and Down, Vice principles and now the righteous gemstones, all of those TV shows are great.
On top of the journal the cops will find. They will probably also find the butterfly that peacemaker has in his house. Thinking it will tie in also. The will probably open jar and the butterfly will take over one of them.
4:24 this is true honestly. We're supposed to believe out of all the people that batman gives concussions and beats the hell out of, that he does not kill a single one of them... Which is kind of dumb
My man was a normal gorilla with a butterfly controlling his brain (that's why he speaks at the end). Gorillas are super strong by nature, they don't need to be "super gorillas" xD. The guy kicked asses as a normal gorilla would do :D Is just a scene (a cool one) to confirm that butterflies can control animals and stuff.
Don't worry, everyone else who lacks the mental capacity of thought, also assumed the Gorilla was going to be Gorilla Grodd, cause apparently there are no other Gorilla's in the DC universe, not even wild Gorilla's. It's literally sad ANYONE thought that Gorilla Grodd would make an appearance seeing as he's a FLASH VILLAIN! Neanderthal's. Oh...and Superman DOES have a poop fetish. LUL Two factions, I have two words for you. Blue...Beetle.
The ending of ep 5 is a fake out... Murn is not evil... he was only trying to stop her from running away so he can talk to her.. Nobody has to save her
I like this show. Even with all the bad acting it still mostly works and the characters get more likable over time. I like when Peacemaker makes fun of famous superheroes like Superman or Batman. His immature attitude around other people or referencing other people who are better than him is a trait that somehow just works for the bad acting that John Cena does. It somehow makes him seem more realistic through the terrible delivery he does. Hopefully they don't ruin it too much. They keep acting like they want to make him stop acting like that and that would ruin the character. Edit: His dad should never realize what a bad person he is. In one of the versions of Peacemaker in the comics his dad is a nazi. Its part of Peacemaker's character because he sees ghosts and one of them is his nazi dad. What should happen is he should be forced to kill his dad, much like Rick Flagg, and he should see ghosts. But so far they aren't doing that. They still could. JAMES GUNN! Do the cool shit! Make HIM SEE GHOSTS OF PEOPLE HE KILLED!
I thought it was silly they had that argument about batman not killing. If batman v superman and justice league told me anything it's that batman totally kills

....did you forget the part where Peacemaker shoots through a door with a shotgun? You know, X-ray helmet? Lol.
Batman doesn't kill...his car does and other stuff when the batmobile hits them, but oh no not Batman. That doesn't count.
Bad Batmobile! Bad
The song at the end of the episode is The Human Paradox by Dynazty.
I really love peacemaker it’s really awesome
W show is amazing
@@mudiametokunboh2370 indeed
I say Harcourt is ganna get with Vigilante. The way she looks at him when she picks them up from prison and the way they keep cutting between them smiling during the texting scene
John actually improvised all those names🤣!!! This show is PURE GOLD and truly something I didn't know I needed in my life. James Gunn needs to do nothing but R rated content going forward. His Disney/Marvel work pales in comparison to Suicide Squad and Peacemaker.
Starting to really like Alex in these, he's always been good but now i'm noticing it properly
I like how OJ whispers to fill in when joe pauses to think.
Loving this show so much and I can’t wait for episode 6 after seeing that teaser.
Best show streaming right now. Really loving Adebayo, Vigilante, and Peacemaker as characters and Harcort(?) is growing on me.
Ah yes ! Zhong Xina latest acting series
Don't think mourn is trying to kill Adebayo. I think he will still be part of the team.
This show has surprised me and has actually ended up being one of my favorite shows of all tine
Episode 1 does have an end credit scene.
Loving the show so far, Canada acting is great on this show and so is the rest of the cast.
More and more I'm thinking that Gunn should've been tapped for Deadpool's entry into the MCU.
Am i the only one who wanne see Robert Patrick in his white Dragon costume kicking ass?
does peacemaker ever talk about the country of taiwan?
Then he apologizes
4:24 this is true honestly.
We're supposed to believe out of all the people that batman gives concussions and beats the hell out of, that he does not kill a single one of them... Which is kind of dumb
Only thing that sucks is its not in 4k with Dolby vision and atmos. Hopefully it gets a season 2 and they step it up in that regards.
They need to do a crossover with Cobra Cai. I reckon Johnny Lawrence and Peacemaker would best friends if they met.
Economos is a Stud
Jody Hill is the guy Who makes those Danny McBride TV shows like righteous gemstones and eastbound and down
My man was a normal gorilla with a butterfly controlling his brain (that's why he speaks at the end).
Gorillas are super strong by nature, they don't need to be "super gorillas" xD. The guy kicked asses as a normal gorilla would do :D
Is just a scene (a cool one) to confirm that butterflies can control animals and stuff.
I'm gonna be sad when the season ends loved watching do far and just feels like genuine interactions between characters which is what I like the most.
So frustrating that I can't watch this or Superman and Louis yet in the Uk
I'm already disappointed this show is gonna end. 😭
Harcourt, not Hargrave. But to be fair I kept thinking her name was Hardcore for the first few episodes. Certainly fits.
Her uncle and the sheriff dude are both butterflies
That warehouse part was incredible!
LUL
Two factions, I have two words for you.
Blue...Beetle.
Vigilante makes the show for me
The ending of ep 5 is a fake out... Murn is not evil... he was only trying to stop her from running away so he can talk to her.. Nobody has to save her
The music in this series is just amazing. This series is just amazing.
It is amazing how James Gunn wrote this, for fun, during his quarantine back in COVID 2020! Absolutely brilliant!
Any DC Universe TV show that isn't a CW show is guaranteed to be great. Titans, Doom Patrol, Peacemaker..
Don't know about Titans being great. S1 had a coherent story till the end, the other seasons had a messy story.
James Gunn says Peacemaker season 2 is likely and another The Suicide Squad spin-off is in the works
Episode 4 ending hit different for me. 😢
Glad to hear Alex likes this better then those other shows he named
vigilante goated
James Gunn is just a fantastic writer
203 love the new animated intro, but we need the 2 "other guys" animated!!!
Jody Hill is a man. A friend and collaborator of his, Danny McBride.
This show is really good man! Not being talked about a lot but they bringing the heat - Pap Brady
Peacemaker mentions Corporate Commander in ep 5
