You guys skipped over one of the best bits of dialogue when Vigiliante was about the killing the veterinarian workers and Harcourt was like we can just tie them up and vigilant was like fine but not too tight on the tape.
Does anyone really watch these before watching the episode. Always get confused when they jump into final verdicts right away, these should just be straight up spoiler discussions
I just love how peacemakers dad lives in a regular ass house that just causally has a quantum dimensional pocket realm; his followers are basic ass kkk members and then he pulls up with an Ironman super suit like it's no big deal. But the best thing is that they don't explain the backstory behind his insane intellect, he just is. I just can't get enough of that James Gunn plot troupes lmao
I thought it was at least an 8 cuz the comedy bits felt appropriate for me and they were really funny. I like the fight scene where Peacemaker gets jumped by a bunch of the bad guys outside a car. I wish there was a cool fight scene with the Terminator but what we got was still pretty cool.
I though it was clever the way they made the tragedy with the brother look like they were messing about somewhere until now and you see it's an organised fight by the dirt bags. I am happy for this episode to be a bit shorter and rushed if that sacrifice means we get the finale we want which at the moment I am very confident we will get! Agreed though 8/10
this was a fantastic episode - eagly not hesitating and flying directly at white dragon to protect peacemaker was hardcore.........and then when he wakes up and hugs peacemaker was so cool. i'm liking vigilante a lot too.
2:44 So true... Not only is he a great comedic actor but he can also do the slow dramatic scenes like when we see a first glimpse at Peacemaker's trauma in episode 4 when house of pain is playing or the piano scene in episode 6 I thought to myself like Man He can act He Can Fucking Act!
I know John is a really good actor when i look at Peacemaker and i dont see John Cena.. Where The Rock for example started off acting okay where i didnt see The Rock, now in all his movies thats all i see.
I question whether you like this show or not genuinely, or what it is you like about this show... you don't care for the plot, or character moments, you just want the hardcore jokes and action... no surprise there. You don't remember characters names, especially the women on the team.
I was expecting that. White Dragon and his klan chasing Peacemaker to the barn with all the butterlies already there. Would make for a chaotic 3-way "fight".
I mean.. there's no contradiction there.. if sometihng is too long, it's a bad thing.. and if it's too short, that's also a bad thing.. I don't see why you'd take issue with that?
Killing the white dragon so soon was an insane choice. He had potential for so much more confrontations and conflicts. Having Peacemaker actually try to kill him and him barely escaping would have been dramatic enough. That said I think he'll still appear as hallucinations or something.
Easily the best joke of the episode was at the beginning when he reaffirms he doesn't have a diary and says "Didn't you see that thing? Looks like it fell out of my vagina!" I almost choked on my soda haha
I feel like Judomaster doesn’t do anything substantial like a minor side quest. He did mention the butterfly aliens are not as what they think or something before getting shot by adebayo, but doesn’t go anywhere and gets his ass beaten again
This is probably the episode i found the slowest so far.. but it's still a great episode! This show turned out to exceed all of my expectations for it! Really happy if they make another season with even close to this standard!
There’s a lot of places in the review where I think they’re looking too deep, when it’s way more straightforward, and other places where they miss things that completely change the context of what they’re talking about. The biggest example of this I’ve noticed for a few reviews now was since murn’s confrontation as a butterfly by adebayo. He explains that he chose THE WORST person he could find to take over as a host so nobody would miss him but then still inherited his memories and saw that even the lowest of the low could change. This is a big point in his characterization and explains why the captain was so weird and brutal. pre-butterfly murn the human was probably very similar in behavior…. I mean it’s noted repeatedly throughout the show that he had a really shady past and his current actions are a complete 180 from his old self. So while the butterfly as a character is complex, his situation was fully explained and is pretty straight forward
I also agree on dying light 2 story being a real let down, but I haven't been able to stop playing it. Seeing you guys stream even started bothering me to the point where I would just shut off, the complaining just didn't end. I get the characters were weak and overall story was horrible but damn man. The multiplayer really bogged down your experience as well. I've had so much fun finding cool easter eggs and doing side quests. Love you guys but I can already see myself disagreeing with your review.
I'm not sure what the deal is with Judo Master but I don't think he's a butterfly. About half the time we see him he's munching on chips. Butterflies can only eat their nectar juice or whatever. It's not been explicitly established they're completely incapable of eating other food but it is established that it doesn't sustain them. So it seems unlikely he's actually infected by a butterfly, but he was definitely knowingly working with them for some reason.
Kinda tired of some of these shows that doesn’t use the same director all the way through. Mandalorian is the prime example. It’s like why? Come on stop fuckin up your own shows, it’s like painting most of a painting then handing it over to some other artist to work in it and then taking it over again. Sucks! Stop doing it!
They may salvage the White Dragon plot line. In the comics, peacemaker had a ton of technology from his dad who worked with nazies. Maybe he inherited all of that and with the blueprints. Since the whole point of peacemaker is an antinazi guy, since a history of the author.

Being this is short series, i can understand why this had be shortend. I feel they not limited to the 8 episodes that fight with the white dragon could gone on awhile *2 maybe 3 but that be pushing it.* I do really gives us a deep look at peace maker, when he shoots his dad in head and breaks down crying. Sort accepting his father was villian and even if he did give him his gadgets, how dad was at core problems of his life, but now losing his last family memeber, especially after egaley dies?. He now feels alone in the world, i hope that *i forgot his name* sidekick actually shows a emotional support to peacemaker in final episode and not like a douch/idiot that he has done at times. As of now, this show 9/10 for me. I never thought show about the pompus douch from movie would actually been good. I hope this gives warner brothers a good insight to do more villian/anti hero tv shows and maybe longer seasons, *nothing against flash/arrow verse they are good but flash series gotten stale.* Hopefully get more great directors that help if they do.
Killed the dad waaaay to quick. I hope for more flashbacks. He is/was a genius, that was able to build all these amazing stuff. How? Where did he learn to do this? And Judomaster's line regarding Butterflies (that they are not what Peacemaker thinks of them) is still a mystery. And the peace sign... Was she simply lying? One episode to go. Hopefully, this will be answered.
Idk if I’m the only one that feels this way but it feels like everyone fights more than Peacemaker lately. He also doesn’t anywhere near as competent as a fighter as he did in TSS movie. I know he doesn’t want to kill anymore but he just feels neutered to being comic relief
I take it SIFU was to hard to not have streamed it again. It's all about learning the level and moves and mastering the dodge. Second Level boss I stand my ground dodge everything. Can beat level 2 dying twice now. Level 1 can beat it without dying now learning level 3
The coolest thing abt this episode was Vigilante and Harcourt. Peacemaker and white dragons fight was ok. I was expecting a lot of ass kicking but didn't happen. Economos was hilarious and badass towards the end.. I still don't understand why has Peacemaker shown as weak compared to The Suicide Squad, he doesn't use guns, he gets his ass kicked, may be beacuse he is mentally fuc**d One thing I was surprised was John Cena's emotional acting. I never knew he cud act so well. I knew he cud do comedy, throughout this season he has been hilarious but emotional scenes were gud too.
yea it was oki to let 3 witnesses see the ENTIRE team and let them live, but hardcort just had to execute the family guy working as a bodyguard because he seen 1 of them and got a glance on the other? kinda unfair

You guys should watch and review "Raised by Wolves". Its on HBO max.
The cow looks like a brain bug from starship troopers!!! I love it!!!!!!!
You guys skipped over one of the best bits of dialogue when Vigiliante was about the killing the veterinarian workers and Harcourt was like we can just tie them up and vigilant was like fine but not too tight on the tape.
The “cow” is giving Starship Troopers vibes
It's *Economos, Joe. ECONOMOS*
The joke of his and hardcourt's names is mispronouncing them.
End credit was wasted should have been used for the raccoon
Nope. Christopher Heyerdahl's adlibs are hilarious.
Does anyone really watch these before watching the episode. Always get confused when they jump into final verdicts right away, these should just be straight up spoiler discussions
Yeah, especially since these are usually a day after the episode is released
Dont forget about the Cow too.. its been kidnapped and imprisoned, so it think it will get free and be an ally to Peacemaker.
Another great episode! Better then every MCU Disney series. And I love DC and Marvel
this was a fantastic episode - eagly not hesitating and flying directly at white dragon to protect peacemaker was hardcore.........and then when he wakes up and hugs peacemaker was so cool. i'm liking vigilante a lot too.
They should have used the Imperial Japanese flag for Judomaster's costume instead of the reptile-like disgrace we got
Yeah they’re big meatheads I notice that for all of reviews they main thing they care about is the action scenes or how badass the characters will be.
My cat was poisoned and sadly passed away a few days ago so this episode hit hard 😢
Gotta disagree, I loved this episode. probably one of the best episodes
Should have had white dragon find out about the butterflies. Racists vs aliens would have been great
I was expecting that. White Dragon and his klan chasing Peacemaker to the barn with all the butterlies already there.
Would make for a chaotic 3-way "fight".
I love it...when is too long you complain , when is to short you complain , the episode was great , fast to the point and getting the plot forward...
I mean.. there's no contradiction there.. if sometihng is too long, it's a bad thing.. and if it's too short, that's also a bad thing..
I agree, totally love everything, but it's so fast, we need longer episodes. This could easily carry 45 minutes.
Judo will join last minute to seal the deal after it comes close to defeat for our heroes!
I think it would have been awesome if Eaglely had bullet proof armour that looks like Peacemaker’s helmet.
This was 10/10. The final episode will be 100/100.
W peak series my fav show
100/100 is still 10/10 and same as 5/5 :)
@@evildeedz6905 I was trying to say it would be 10 times better, since every episode is better than the previous one.
The reason the skinheads didn't shoot was they didn't want to accidentally kill Peacemaker and piss off White Dragon.
Easily the best joke of the episode was at the beginning when he reaffirms he doesn't have a diary and says "Didn't you see that thing? Looks like it fell out of my vagina!" I almost choked on my soda haha
Who the fuck is Economics?
When it showed he flash back about how his brother died it reminded me of boy fights from arrested development
Did they not mention the Cow?
it's hard to buy in to the fact that adebayo is doing anything damaging against the stubbornness of peacemaker and Harcourt
I liked the White DRagon stuff, he seems like the type that does not want his gang to interfere so that could be a reason they do not much at first
I feel like Judomaster doesn’t do anything substantial like a minor side quest.
How the fuck is this the slowest?
No butterflies can sustain themselves on human food. Except the one in Judo Master's head. Snack power!
I do have to agree though that because of how well his character was written, his death felt super unceremonious.
James Gunn should’ve written Boba Fett 😂 would’ve been weird but at least the story would’ve actually made some sense and had decent pacing
Can you imagine what a James Gunn Star Wars show would look like?
@@redbaron8130 one can only dream.
I can’t wait for Goff in the body of Sophie to meet Peacemaker one last time and tell him that her favorite color IS teal.
🤣
Lmao that would be epic
I don’t even care if Goff doesn’t say it, I’m going to believe in my mind that is what he said😂
the episode is building up = you complain its too slow, the episode is full of action = you complain its too rushed... like wtf
James Gunn has the keys to the dc universe toychest and he makes a show that is barely connected to it.
Glad I'm not the only one who's been waiting
They may salvage the White Dragon plot line. In the comics, peacemaker had a ton of technology from his dad who worked with nazies. Maybe he inherited all of that and with the blueprints. Since the whole point of peacemaker is an antinazi guy, since a history of the author.
Hey at least they resolved the dad issue in its own episode instead of cramming it into a finale like Disney would do
Well, Judomaster did try to talk to Peacemaker, but he got shot before he could say anything
Hey Joe, last few movie review videos you have low volume. I need to almost triple my sound settings to hear you on the same level as other RUclipsrs. Check it out ples. Anyway, love to hear your reviews :-)
This episode was amazing! Felt really emotional
Such a good show!!! I'm hoping for a second season already!! Great job as per usual AJS team. Truly feel like I'm sitting amongst friends hearing their take on the show:)
John Cena's the MARINE also had Robert Patrick in movie so they both came back here.
I binged this show after my buddies raving about it and I’m all caught up and they aren’t lol
i want more with Judo Master and it makes no sense that James Gunn killed the White Dragon 😭
John Cena is great in this show but the guy who plays Vigilante is incredible he elevated the show so much with how he interacts with the team.
Lil asian guy is coming up there too
Judo master can't be a butterfly, butterflies don't eat food and he's constantly snacking on cheetos, duh.
He came out as a butterfly to distract them from finding the rest of the team for a second
I still don't understand why has Peacemaker shown as weak compared to The Suicide Squad, he doesn't use guns, he gets his ass kicked, may be beacuse he is mentally fuc**d
One thing I was surprised was John Cena's emotional acting. I never knew he cud act so well. I knew he cud do comedy, throughout this season he has been hilarious but emotional scenes were gud too.
yea it was oki to let 3 witnesses see the ENTIRE team and let them live, but hardcort just had to execute the family guy working as a bodyguard because he seen 1 of them and got a glance on the other? kinda unfair
the only thing i didnt like about the episode is that i thought the dad issue would be resolved the same time as the butterfly issue like its a 3 way fight instead of the way they did it
