James Gunn unleashed is awesome! Fundamentally Guardians of the Galaxy and Peacemaker share lots of structural parallels. Tonally it's probably what Guardians of the Galaxy would be like if it wasn't under the mouse's puritanical supervision.

I thought It was a great idea that they released 3 episodes at once. The tone and humor of the show is right up my alley and can't wait to see where it goes from here.
I actually didn’t find Harcourt to be a bad person these first few episodes. Feel like the nature of the work and the logic from plenty of comparable espionage and black ops type of material, that we all know, went into wanting to kill that witness in the 3rd episode. If anything the empathy for her was pretty well done in the scene in the bar in the first episode all be it comedic. It helps knowing what she’s been through a bit from The Suicide Squad carrying over to this mission as we see her think out loud about things related to Waller and other stuff. Do you have a prediction or a hope for any particular character from The Suicide Squad (other than Waller) to appear briefly later on this season? Even if it ended up being as simple as a phone call, it would be fun to get more back and forth with Bloodsport and Peacemaker. Keep up the great work man!

There were moments that I loved and there were moments that loathed. I think your analysis saying that some may like it and some may not based on the dialogue is spot on.
Love the tone of the show, definitely stands out, the show and soundtrack is fearless. I agree that some people may not like it, but I don't need every comic show to be the same or safe. I liked the different tones of the Marvel shows, but this reminds me of how limited you are when you are on Disney+. We need one Star Wars Sith story brought to HBO.

I’m loving this show! Super is my favourite James Gunn film and this has massive Super vibes with Vigilante being very similar to Elliot (at the time Ellen) Pages’ Bolte. I loved Peacemaker’s breakdown scene and getting to see how insecure he is, it makes the costume and attitude of this character so much more grounded. Eagley is stupid but perfect.
I'm digging the show. Let's see where this is going. I am totally ok with profane, silly and violent. Kristian, you didn't mention that when he killed the Butterfly he basically dropped a "Pesce Out Mother F".

Vigilante really surprised me on how much I enjoyed him.
