This video is the reason why I watch! You and Chris are always trying to refine your process to make it the most efficient it can be!! Keep up the good work guys!! I'll be watching!!
Glad you enjoy the process!
At least someone is being productive today, great job fellas!
Haha thank you!
Hey there Chris and Jake. I watch you guys quite a bit. Good job getting the 4 totes centered. You will always be changing things up, because all wood is different.take care guys.
That’s the truth!
You guys are nuts in a good way 😂
lol thanks
If you can adjust the speed of the motor on the conveyor belt you can fine tune where the wood will drop in the IBC totes. Now that you are dial in .
It’s not adjustable unfortunately
Maximize efficiency! Great job guys, looking forward to seeing the big updates to come
Thanks stay tuned!
Great intro guys. lol. Great video as well. When u said steaks you got me all hungry now. Hahaha
😂😂
If you take the cambreiota of the conveyor and divide it by the length of the wood, times the distance of the grizzly bars from the top of the totes, it should equal the vector of the outside corners of the totes, to find that sweet spot....Hope this helps.....Luv You guys...76 y/o wood burner originally from East Windsor, CT...now NH
lol I’m not sure if you’re serious or not, I know vector… but what’s cambreiota?
Make sure you mark your grizzly bar height as well, because that will change where the splits land.
We have marked the grizzlies and the holes on the support legs with paint marker!
Maybe put a highway cone on top of the 4 tote intersection. Cut 4 slots in it so it goes over the tote sides a little. Hopefully it will direct the wood into the totes and not pile up in the center.
That’s a pretty good idea!
Jake and Chris… 4-some swingin’ with the totes. Nice job, Gents. Curious to see 4 short totes- you might have to change positions. 😆
Yep I think we’d have to back them up a hair
Nice job ! keep splitting guys !
Always!
Hey guys I really think Andrew needs you guys to demo a disc cleaner for him. It ‘wood’ be a win win for Eastonmade and you. There’s still a lot of slash going into the IBC totes. Just a suggestion for Andrew. Then the next demo would be the 40C. It’s only a matter of time.
Cheers Woody !!
Haha stay tuned…!
Great set up boys…..knocking on 15k!!!! Hard to believe. Seems like yesterday when we met at the coffee shop…….
Time flies! Thanks for your continued support!
I really enjoy your vids. Come to Missouri sometime and visit. We have tons of hardwoods.
Thanks for watching!
Great video. I think the rail road ties will be quicker. Just a push the totes up will they touch and party. Stakes work fine to thought. Good work
I’m going to try to get some telephone pole cut offs
Jake, looks like 👍 you have got Chris talking a little more than he usually does made four totes quickly then in the past 😮😊❤
Haha I try to get him to talk !
The sweet spot will become the money spot!!
Exactly!
Congrats on your first "foursome!" 🙌 I agree that the center of the pyramid might move slightly further away when you go to the 275 gallon totes. The good news is that you really only need two stakes to mark the position of the 330 gallon "foursome," that being the two that are closest to the elevator. So, if you find that you do have to locate the totes a little farther away for the smaller totes, you just use the two stakes on the other side (farther from the elevator) to mark the position of the 275 gallon "foursome." Since the two that are already closest to the elevator are orange, I would wholeheartedly suggest painting the other two blue. 🎤⬇😎
That’s a great point, two stakes to indicate both sizes of totes
Like your set up, nice 👍🇧🇻
Thanks 👍
Good video. Congratulations on finding the sweet spot for the 4 tote set up 👍
Thanks 👍
Successful 4-some. Lol 😳😳
😂
It a Nice set up with 4 totes of oak firewood filled up with 22-28 and Grizzly Bars, is a Cheaper Option then Using a Disc Screener which is going to cost upwards of $18 700.00 from Easton Made,
Thanks! Stay tuned…
Can you play with the conveyor speed. Instead if moving baskets adjust speed. Maybe that might help. Enjoy watching you two keep up the good work
Unfortunately it’s not adjustable. I could add in flow control valves but don’t really think it’s all that necessary
How much faster than one IBC accurately filled with the most cleaning action you can dial in. let it heap up, move the tote to its location, place another, repeat. You haven't moved the IBC's yet and will have to use caution placing the forks and looking out for your stakes. Anyway, that's just me killing time eating lunch. Good video.
We have moved the 4 totes several times and with two people it’s much faster than doing 1 at a time
Great job guys! Who is Jeff and who is Patti 😂
MOUNTAIN TOP OUTDOORS RUclips
@@arthurpiner4558 I meant is Jake supposed to be Jeff or Patti.
lol depends on the day
@@DudeRanchDIY😂
Great idea guys! How much do these 4 loosely thrown ibcs hold? A cord?
These were all the large 330 gallon totes which each hold 1/3 cord loose. The small 275 gallon hold 1/4 cord loose
We picked up our 22-28 on 02/20/2024 and we are loving it! Eastonmade Road trip: ruclips.net/video/9cWsEn1r33U/видео.html
Congrats!
Think you guys are onto something there.. some sort of platform might work to mark your location... skids or something??
Yeah still trying to work on something
Wow you can process alot of wood with that box wedge but man do you get alot of trash in with the wood.
Yep that’s the downside to the box wedge
I am going outta the box on this. Is there a reason you don't have some type of table made to lay logs on and cut into blocks. Have a great day be safe
Yeah mostly because the two logs we use work well and didn’t cost anything haha. I’ve though of other methods but they all require time and lumber to build
@DudeRanchDIY I understand if it works keep on doing it. Have a good day
Hello Jake and Chris, Sharp Thinking 👏 Good Video with no yoga pants, go figure 😂🤘🏻🪵🇺🇸
We try to make firewood videos enjoyable without the yoga pants… who knew 🤷🏼♂️
Great job!! On the smaller totes, could adjust the drop area by moving your conveyor????? Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
We could but I think it’s easier and faster to just adjust the placement of the totes
So is Dude Ranch going to change its company name to kinky firewood?
Been thinking about it…😂
