I may look like a city slicker
Shinin' up through his shoes
Underneath I'm just a cotton picker
Pickin' out a mess of blues
Show me where I start
Find a horse and cart
I'm just a country boy
Country boy at heart
I may look like a bank teller
Pushin' facts in a life
But I'd tather be a haul collar
Shooin' foot home in style
Show me where I start
Find a horse and cart
I'm just a country boy
Country boy at heart
I may look like a city slicker
Shinin' up through his shoes
Underneath I'm just a cotton picker
Pickin' out a mess of blues
Show me where I start
Find a horse and cart
I'm just a country boy
Country boy at heart.
I wish he would ditch the Music Man....
His tone is so much better on a Tele or as here with a Strat.
I never tire of Albert Lee!
Dude's incredible 🎉🎉🎉
Said it before & will say it again: Albert is THE man...
A real man - doesn't hide behind distortion.
This is a great DVD! This is where I first saw Theresa and had no clue what a talent she is until I looked her up. I havent played a cd over and over like this in years. . And Albert is amazing as always. I think the whole crew had a good time and it came through on the DVD.
Úgy látom ez az egyetlen magyar bejegyzés!
Country zene nekem nagyon bejön!!
Absolutely mind blowing!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this was from the fender 50th anniversary show. Theresa is wicked bad. Plays all kinds of instruments and sings awesome.
The above lyrics aren't even close. LOL.. Albert Lee is a GUITAR LEGEND.. Period
Albert as always was outstanding , not a single note out of place and lightning fast
not easy to do with a clean sound , it does not get any better than that for that type of playing
Albert of course is a Grammy Award-winning British guitarist .
Wow...I saw this clip on TV and came immediately to find it here. Albert Lee is UNREAL!!! I can't believe for all the great guitarists I've heard, I'm only hearing this monster for the first time. I can't get over his technique...and how he plays over the changes. Fantastic!
pure genius at 4.59-5:02
Fun song! You could see the band was having a blast playing this one!
They put the fiddle's signal through a
wah!! awesome. cool vid
I'm so glad you've found Albert Lee. I love him!
If you haven't already, check out this version on youtube:
"Albert Lee / Emmylou Harris : Country Boy (1977)"
I need a shot of it every day!
Pino Palladino on bass?
It was cool that he seemed to be up there for a big chunk of the show
Pino Palladino on bass , he plays for The Who too , after John Thunderfingers Entwistle passed away
Simplemente espectaculaar *-*
Один из самых классных и скромных гитаристов!!!Браво!!!
My strat is one of only 70 made with Miller beer decal made for this event...I think they were handed out as raffle prizes or something like that during the event...Nice guitar plays great and a nice collector's piece...
Albert Lee is a Guitar Players Dream. Wish I could play!!!!!
Wonder how I missed this great tune, beautiful playing
cool
Pino!
yngwie who? :)
LOL
Like watching someone play in fast forward!
Yer that's right... tell Albert Lee how to play a riff.
I heard Da Vinci needs some advice on colouring in...
@acryinshame1 its called chicken pickin for a reason :P
I think the production booth was infatuated by the blonde. They keep cutting to her while Albert Lee is ripping it up. Musicians want to see him and his hands not the fluff on the side. Besides, I thought this was called Strat Pack not Fiddle Diddle.
Разлом супергитарного обостения,такого давнеко не было!!!!!!!!
Yes it is.
Love it
Albert Lee is absolutely amazing.
who in the hell is albert lee?
One of the greatest of all time!
"Lee has received many awards as a guitarist, winning five consecutive times Guitar Player magazine's "Best Country Guitarist".[7] Lee is known within the music industry for his speed of playing and his technical virtuosity[8] and yet by the same token, one of the most melodic, playing slower passages approximating the sound of the pedal steel guitar with his Music Man and Telecaster guitars which are equipped with B-Benders.
He is known as "the guitar player's guitar player".[8] Lee is also referred to as "Mr. Telecaster".

I'm wondering what model Strat Albert is using here. Is it a vintage 50's Strat or a modern reproduction? What a great player!
