Saw him at Green Hotel in Kinross, Fife , Scotland. Took my disco chick girlfriend who had no idea who he was. She loved what he played and how he played commenting on his age. It was a small audience and we all went to the bar after. He sat down with his family and friends. Looked like his wife was in a wheelchair. One of the most influential guitarists in history was so understated and unassuming. We just left him in peace. Awesome.
Albert Lee.....Still awesome at 78yrs of age. Unbelievable! Quality performance 👏 Thank you to Albert for performing and to Norm for bringing this maestro musician to us all🙏👍❤
Surprise: Jen is a one person production company! She is doing the work of a dozen skilled people and doing it well! Whatever Norm is paying her, it's not enough. Brandon did a great job on audio as well. Albert and the band did great, as expected.
Albert playing and singing on a great version of Gram Parsons song “Wheels”. Doesn’t get any better than that. Hard to believe it was April 1967 when I first saw Albert playing live. At that time he was playing guitar with Chris Farlowe and the Thunderbirds.
Great players great band. Albert playing with cold hands, while a little subdued, subtly making a face about his playing, is still Hands Down, one of the Great Nashville guitar slingers. Great vocalist also!
Home run! Albert and the guys, simply sublime. Albert is a musician's musician. I saw him in Phoenix tearing up a concert piano playing Bach, Beethoven, Chopin! Most of us never see this side of him. Super sweet guy tops it off. Thanks!!
Whooo..!!! Albert just slides right into that guitar like slippin’ on an old pair of comfy slippers..! Outstanding..!! And the guys are right there for him..!👍🏼❤️ Thanks Norman..!
Blow away, easily my favorite video from Norm's ever, can't wait to see the rest of this show. Its so obvious Albert could have chosen to be the front man for himself, while his playing is legendary, his singing is amazing too, what a awesome talented man!
Albert played with some of the best over the years, and he has always been one of the best - especially in that clean picking country genre! Great performance by the group!
I saw Albert last night at a tiny former chapel in Worcester UK playing to an audience of a couple of hundred. Brilliant show, 2 hours pretty much, and although a virtuoso guitarist he’s no slouch on keyboards either.
Just got done seeing these guys in Harrisonburg VA at a small venue . These guys are monsters at what they do . Please go see them if you get a chance . Also, they are wonderful human beings and they do a meet and greet after the show . Highly recommended!!!!!
I was at that show as well. The non-verbal/musical communication between the four musicians while playing was astounding. Similar to this video, I was amazed how much the younger, female audience members were singing & dancing to Albert's music with glee.
Yes this is the Norman’s rare music recordings at Norman’s rare guitars 🎸 yes yes yes yes , I love it with my ideas are put to good use , yes 👏 thank you Norman, Jen too lemmo and team at Norman’s rare guitars 🎸, praise Jesus grace Christ amen, thank you Albert LEE . Thanks BigAl California.
I hate to admit this, but i never heard of him until i watched Clapton's Crossroads concert, and he just blew me away. I'm 72. How did i never hear of him before?
Had the great pleasure of preforming with Albert and Tony Colton in Nashville in the early 90's. Though we've lost Tony this video shows Albert hasn't lost a lick. Love you sweetie. Thanks for the post
What a treat!!!!! Albert Lee could sound good playing through a tin can... but looks like he chose a vintage Fender Tonemaster , one of my favorites along with one of my favorite guitarist... thanks Norm

A living legend. Great sound. Band is excellent.
Albert Lee is one of the better pickers out there. That country twang of his makes any song worth a listen to.I love how he doesn’t use distortion.
Surprise: Jen is a one person production company! She is doing the work of a dozen skilled people and doing it well! Whatever Norm is paying her, it's not enough. Brandon did a great job on audio as well. Albert and the band did great, as expected.

When you have greatness, you don't need attitude.

Albert played with some of the best over the years, and he has always been one of the best - especially in that clean picking country genre! Great performance by the group!
How can one person have so much talent, guitar, piano and he's a great singer as well !
I saw Albert last night at a tiny former chapel in Worcester UK playing to an audience of a couple of hundred. Brilliant show, 2 hours pretty much, and although a virtuoso guitarist he’s no slouch on keyboards either.
This is great! Albert is one of my guitar heroes.
Great show! Albert kills as a singer and as a guitar player.
Tight as! Just sensational timing and the very definition of in the pocket. Thank you all.

Albert Lee, gentleman, icon and a joy to watch and listen to. Thank you to everyone involved in this.
Albert still has it and what with Ryan's harmonies and the rest of the band's contributions make it it great sound!
That's Jason Harrison Smith on drums and harmony vocals. 😊
