I met Shaw Taylor some years back when I was working for the rails at Havant station. He still looked the same. I had an opportunity to utter his famous "keep em peeled" catchphrase back to him. He laughed out loud as he exited the station. Genuine geezer with a decent sense of humour who will be sorely missed.
I absolutely adore shaw taylor since l was around seven. His charisma and ability struck me immediately even though l was a child. Today l still carry his legacy in my heart. Always remembered!
Can't believe it, the bloke in TV shop over video cameras I know, his name is Les Perry and he lived in Lavant at the time, no idea where he is now, but thats him.
Hi, could you please advise me how I'd view episodes of this show from 1986? I am looking into a crime that occurred that year and know that police 5 were in attendance. Thank you.
world class presenter and will never!! be forgotten. Keep em peeled Mr Shaw Taylor.

I used to LOVE his Police 5 show.
I've still got that leather sofa
I remember Shaw Taylor presenting Police 5 on ATV London in the 1960's.
God bless the late great beloved Shaw Taylor. Police 5 was simply the best tv crime service ever!
Sunday afternoons just before the big match..
Remember keep em peeled 👀
Shaw Taylor was the best!!! Loved his voice, and he cracked me up 🤣
Bring back Police 5, crime has risen so much since they cancelled this show!
Remember the smurfs being on after this on a Sunday lunchtime
For what it's worth, I observe that Shaw Taylor appeared to be left handed.
Shaw Taylor didn't use his catchphrase! I feel cheated.
sometimes (as in this video) he didnt say it but still did the actions - which had more impact!
The only reason I'm watching
Wish we found find out if they caught the leather Thieves.
Insurance job. 9 three piece suits... in two transit vans.
Try ringing the phone number is actually still works but rings out

The sofas currently being sold in DFS never ending sale
I miss the days when tv worthy crime was just a sofa theft
Brings back great memories. Far better than crime watch!😂
