- Mangart saddle - my favourite place but at the same time the most difficult place to capture astro images due to the harsh environment of Julian alps. Despite MANY failed attempts, I can't wait to come back here.
Felt like I was traveled back down deep in the viking era. Epic!
Ah yes, good old Slovenhalla :D
I don't mind such conditions at all, it looks amazing with the beautiful landscape
Thanks, Terverl :D I dont mind it at all, after clear skies for astro, moody and dark landscapes like this are my second favourite.
I am glad that there is someone filming the struggles. Beautiful what you filmed anyway man. One day you will succeed!
You know when I started thinking about making something, the first thing that jumped to my mind was your "failed" meteor shower trip to UK and how it has being said that we always share only our success stories :D.
I would gladly take that landscape in fog over some stars... beautiful! Just get back out there 🙂
Hah, just wait till you see the night sky here :D
@@matej.mlakar I have only once in my life seen the night sky high up in the mountains in a dark region... I will never forget that. So I trust you when you say so 🙂
Looks like it has so much potential, mate. Hauntingly beautiful video, though - and that MW shot is still pretty special!
Thank you! I know that those types of videos are not everyones cup of tea, but this is also one side of astro :D. I was vlogging, but I decided to leave out all the important parts as I dont want to spoil anything for a proper video from this place in the future, hopefully this autumn.
It happens that you go on a photographic excursion and the nature takes over.
True, and this was a gamble from the start as the forecast was not good, but I decided to take my chances as it was possible for the clouds to be even lower. Next time then :D.
