Hi I enjoy your videos but can you give more details on the 5eb to 5sl conversion is it only 1 mount that have to be welded and the rest is bolt on I'm following from south Africa
If your lucky someones done the mod on the second gear or put an 03-05 transmission in it - I had the detuned FZ6 with that engine, and second gear was worrying - I sold it straight away losing a bag of sand on it. Robbing Sons saw me coming.
@@JRRetroRebuilds - I know but, only 3 dogs on the second gear with inferior selector forks compared with the 03-05 models meant that the second gear banged and slipped eventually breaking - It maybe sorted on yours though - Just saying.
hi mate quick question sorry bud, while I'm looking on youtube, I put the R1 yokes on my R6 rubbs against the plastic of the air line will that get worse or just be a little like that?? i could keep the yoke on it the thread was on the top so have to thread it now lol

weld one main mount in stightly different position and shave the side mounts down 5mm each, other than that its bolt on

Hey man, do you know what to set the float height for the 5eb carbs? That fuel level is bs. A float height makes sense
Just measure off the tabs. General knowledge my man

the detuning is to do with the camshafts and also the map on the ecu. The bottom end is exactly the same for all 5sl engines
