🌟 Most Expensive Seat On Miami's New Train Brightline 🚄 Miami To West Palm Beach Roundtrip 🌴

- Опубликовано: 26 июн 2024
- Brightline is a privately run inter-city rail route between Miami and West Palm Beach, Florida that runs on track owned by Florida East Coast Railway. An extension from West Palm Beach to Orlando International Airport is expected to open in 2023. From Cocoa to Orlando, Brightline is constructing new track on its own right of way. Brightline is the only privately owned and operated intercity passenger railroad in the United States.
Premium seating is the most expensive and is a first-class experience with all-inclusive amenities to take care of your every need. If you book premium you will have access to the new select lounges in the three South Florida stations, offering curated food and beverage items throughout the day (all included in the price). Breakfast options will be served until 11 a.m., and then from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., seasonal healthy offerings and a self-serve wine and champagne station is available. After 3 p.m., guests can enjoy Italian charcuterie and cheese as well as beer, wine and champagne.
Onboard, service will include scented cold hand towels, magazines, headphones and kids goodie bags for riders ages 12 and under. Electronic device chargers will be available on request, and food service includes fresh pastries in the morning and a bento-style snack box in the afternoons and evenings.
Brightline is also coming to the west coast! Brightline West is a proposed privately run high-speed rail route initially linking Las Vegas Valley and Victor Valley in the California high desert. The rail line is planned to be extended to a station of the Los Angeles Metro Rail, an urban rail transportation system, in Rancho Cucamonga. The project is intended to provide an alternative to air and automobile travel between Southern California and Las Vegas, a popular vacation spot. Construction on the route is expected to begin in early 2023 and trains are planned to enter revenue service in 2026.
⌚️ Travel time is approximately 1 hour and 12 minutes each way with stops at Fort Lauderdale while on the way. Total trip miles roundtrip is a total of 140 miles traveled.

Just took them a few weeks ago between Fort Lauderdale and Miami on my vacation they were great can’t wait for the Orlando extension to open
Those prices are incredibly reasonable when you consider the level of service you get ON TOP OF the train ride itself. I'm very impressed!
Incredible reasonable now that gas is so expensive.
We thought so too.
Ultimate Florida Experience; Fly In, take the train to each destination, Autonomous Tesla in between, Take A Cruise, Fly Out. It’s like an upgraded tourist trap. With 2 widely visited cities, Orlando and Miami and all the other great ones up and coming. Like I always say, Florida is up next!
Autonomous Tesla....you mean a taxi complete with traditional taxi driver!?
Is there a direct bus from the airport to the train?
@@Wangan_W In Miami you can take the metrorail, which is basically an elevated rail train from the airport to government station, which is adjacent to this brightline station.
@@RedNuii thank you!
There's no such thing as an automous tesla, we should probably focus on getting our infrastructure up to the level of first world counties like Japan or China before we dream about scifi delusions
Really cool how many American cities are starting to finally use trains for convenient transportation. Great video as well, you got all the details of the ride! I would reccomend putting actual text on the video rather than using captions, (It's what I usually do) but I do understand the language translation value of captions. Anyways, new subscriber 👍
Brightline seems very promising. I like the way they’re going about their operations
They plan to bring Brightline up to Orlando. When they do, I want to hop aboard!
Pretty sure it opens this year in Orlando, right?
@@flanagamer I do believe so but I don't know when. I subscribed so I should be notified of any updates.
This is what all Amtrak lines should already be like. Hopefully brightline inspires more passenger rail of this quality in the us
I hope so. they need so much more funding because it is so inefficient and outdated, and expensive to take. all of that puts me off taking amtrak even when it would be the best option
Amtrack runs in the red and is a pile of crap, operated by the communist anti American "government". Thats why it's garbage. Private business has to actually SERVE people to receive money that is rational market priced.
@@realestateunplugged6129 I agree that there should be more privatization with rail because it would push for more innovation and higher quality, but that's ridiculous. The reason why it's bad is because the government is completely underinvesting in trains and rail infrastructure. Keep in mind that on average the government spends 52.5 billion per year on roads and bridges, and they don't make any money (besides toll money which barely covers anything). But I definitely think privatization is the best option because the government won't get anything done.
@@fl0pZ3 The "government" is good at stealing and killing, but it's not efficient at distributing money. I'm not anti government, just anti illegal corrupt government. I hear you, thanks for responding.
@@fl0pZ3 Oh yeah, look at California's "high speed rail". Billions pocketed by government con artists and zero service provided to the citizens for our tax dollars. The thing was cancelles after they stole billuons of dollars and built us nothing. Then look at Florida's totally private BRIGHTLINE* high speed rail. Total masterpiece and doesn't cost the tax payer one penny.
Nice video. Cant wait for that Brightline extension!
So cool! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Beautiful Train, awesome ride. The Brightline is fantastic, thanks for the ride : D
Love the Brightline trains.. Very cool looking 🚄🚄👍👍.. Nice footage man!
Great awesome video,,,thanks ✨👍🏼✨💐
Great video! Very interesting.
Brightline's a good start but it's got a long way to go to catch up with high speed rail in Europe and China.
It's better than what's on offer to the UK population. Trains were invented in England - home to one of the world's worst rail services.
High speed rail in Europe generally does not have at-grade crossing like Brightline does. That is why Europe can have high speeds on their network, and that is why the Northeast Corridor regularly does 125 mph and above.
It should also be noted that Brightline sections north of West Palm Beach to Orlando will have sections where the train will do 125 mph.
@@gojeda Agreed. Also, high speed rail uses dedicated track not shared with freight traffic, and the locomotives draw electric power from catenaries, not diesel power.
@@quickclipsbyjmj One of the worst? I will take your word for it.
@@luislaplume8261 It's not that bad. We do have high speed 1 from London to the channel tunnel, that rides at 186 mph but can go to 200 mph if needed. High speed 2 is currently being built to Birmingham and Manchester and that will be 225 mph. The existing East coast, West coast and Great Western to Bristol routes are 125 mph. There are plans to increase these speeds to 140 mph. There has been a lack of investment since 1945 but we are now slowly catching up.
Great in depth footage about your ride on the train. I can't wait to ride it when I get back down there in the summer 👍🚄👍
Great
By the way, in the US, by Federal Rail Administration regulations, you are never going to see speeds beyond 79 MPH on rail segments that have at-grade crossings in urban and suburban areas.
I do commend Brightline for trying, and I pray they succeed. Their pricing, however, needs to come down by a good 30 to 40%
@Chris67 It depends on the population density and the distances between crossings. A lot of the areas this train travels through are built up so it would be dangerous to run at high speeds.
Well these speed restrictions make sense. Imagine getting your car hit by a train going at 120mph
$37 for that one way trip is a incredible deal considering how expensive gas is right now.
@@aramondehasashi3324 Problem is that you need to drive at both ends of the destinations as most places are not accessible by public transportation. Keep in mind the original tracks/stations were built 130 years ago and do not represent the population centers of today.
@@janefelix3821 If you're in West Palm or Miami, you do not need to have your own car to get around. Especially if your destination is the beach in Miami I've driven to both and have taken the Brightline since. The latter is far better.
This was a great and helpful video as I wanted to ride the Brightline. Thank you for posting it!
This just popped up today. Was in Palm beach back in march and took this to Miami for a suns and heat game. Classy employees and top notch service, Highly recommended!
Did the brightline when i went to west palm beach for downton abbey event. Loved it. Clean , even smelled pleasant in the station and on the train. Good job.
Quite enjoyable !!! 😁
Professional Class
Incredible 👍
Wonderful train vlog. No matter how you slice it, Fla is basically too hot and humid to enjoy anything👍
Nice
Great job.
💥✌️❤️ obsessed with trains..loved taking the palm tran from west palm to miami
Well done, Roamaloan. Thanks for not adding a music bed. Great job. Subscribing.
I love your operations

EVEN MORE EXAMPLES THAT MY NATIVE HOMETOWN OF MIAMI IS BECOMING A TRULY SUPER ADVANCED STAR TREK CITY OF THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had my first trip last night from Miami-West Palm Beach-Miami. The train is beautiful, and clean, with modern bathrooms, lobby, and public spaces. I bought the SMART ticket and I felt the service was fine. The only issue I had was that I bought a round-trip ticket with parking included. When you enter the garage you will find a machine where you scan your ticket and the gate opens. Well, the machine did not work and I had to take a ticket. Fortunately, when I was going out I pressed the assistance button and a person opened the gate remotely for me. The Brightline parking garage in Miami is one block away from the main building, and at night there are some homeless people in the area : (
The rest of the experience was great!
I had parking as well and ended up in the wrong garage.
train travel is way to go
Very nice.
After watching this I’m definitely going to go do what you did. I live down here already, but thought eventually this train going Orlando?!
11:14 What a beautiful shot!
I just came back from Florida I was in Orlando and I didn't know the other extension was operational yet very cool video
It's a dream come through
When the Coco tunnel is tracked in lest than 6 months this will be an outstanding addition to Florida's infrastructure. Hopefully this will spark a rise in public transport at each station as the drive to and from Miami is a nightmare.
The scenery in "yellow" at 4:00 was outstanding !!! and the train ride was great also. LOL
Yeah fr 😂
Ultimate ....and we expect in india because after modi ji India is very good......from India hi to all ...in usa.
Wow amazing fast tren Miami to my city 🌃 Orlando.
I remember st Pancras
Buy my ticket I. Aerostar goin underground to London - Paris my best vacations then to Berlin to Prague then frankfurts to Brussels back to London great aventuret

Anjoy everyone 😀
I thought the "4.9 Mbps" on the screen was the speed of the train. I found myself trying to convert it to m.p.h.
I'm excited that the train lines are expanding up to Orlando to Tampa, and also up to Jax. I drive up to Jax from Tampa, which is a long drive. It would be nice to catch a train ride.
Thanks for the video!
All that for $37??? With that pricing here in the tri state, thats equal to at least one layover, two late trains, and countless panhandlers asking you for money. Amazing you got free drinks. Shoot me
$37 each way*
@@Roamaloan the joke went way over your head
@@chrivison thank for the joke
Love from nyc
My wish is to experience it good and nice looking
thanks, one day I would go on a day trip like this one, I live in Polk county. so when Orlando starts up that is the time I most likely go.
Orlando is going to open the flood gates.
nice video not that many people ride that train from miami to west palm beach.
👍
This is good life
Brightline is definitely a great train travel experience. I hope they add a stop at Cocoa on the treasure coast to support the Port at Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center. That will mean the future 2 cruise port accesses(Miami and Orlando),Orlando Airport, Orlando Convention Center, and the Orlando parks. Wow, more relaxed than driving!
Don't forget Fort Lauderdale. Port everglades is there
Cocoa is on the Space Coast.
Orlando coming soon they workin on it
Amazing what Latinos can accomplish with American ingenuity-God Bless America.
I enjoyed your video. I am in northern FL and waiting for the Bright line to get finished. I was going to share your video but I wish you had left the alcohol scenes out of it. It is a trigger for some. Thank you though for your content.
it's amazing to me that miami is under construction at the same time it is sinking.
LOL. It's been "sinking" for how many yrs now?
sinking = alt left fable
@@PeaceToAll-sl1db In a sense, I guess. It's the sea that's rising. Miami has been raising its streets and sidewalks to stay above water.
@@PeaceToAll-sl1db it’s not a fable for locals like my self who grew up here. In south beach before the tourism the water levels never got as high as they do now. Now a rain storm floods blocks leaving cars under water.
@@michaelal20 move somewhere else and stop crying then
What a beautiful train ride. Not really expensive considering . ...
Taking the train beats driving any time! And it beats flying nearly all the time! I hate both driving and flying!
Me too! I love taking the train.
One thing that stands out to me over Amtrack is the handicap access. For those who have to use electric scooters, you can ride it right onto the train.
Now we need brightline to go from Orlando to Miami and back .
I think it opens this year in Orlando
They already completed the track to Orlando and should open it in 2023.
This trains amazing and the station and the train smell so amazing ‼️‼️‼️They pump their own sent through the vents ‼️‼️‼️musk_ grapefruit ❤️❤️❤️❤️
DADE COUNTY
Trying this soon, west palm to Miami and back with my mom with a night layover a parking pass and a Tesla in Miami.
Everything costed 158$ (premium class) and I think that’s reasonable for this
Bullet train like the Shinkansen in Japan? Hope we will have that from Miami via NY city to Montreal, canada in East coast, and in the West coast from San Diego via L A, San Jose, San Francisco, Seattle to Vancouver, Canada
Looks good, don’t let the bums destroy it
I'm so happy to see that US is investing in railways but...after seeing that different rail companies are running/building different routes, I really hope that you aren't going to end like the UK with 20+ rail companies, prices higher than cross Atlantic flight tickets and unreliable service. It really is a mess
The widow maker
That is a great deal for $37. How much was the can of beer at the bar? I hit that subscribe button.
8 dollars but if I went to the lounge before I would've seen it was complimentary.
Everybody prefer to drive their own vehicle in Florida...lifestyle
It's a Damm train
Awesome.
Anyone knows when connection to Orlando will be finished?

I van forsee the New York Stock Exchange and the New York Bond Exchange moving to Miami this year.
I prefer the freedom that my car gives me.
Is the train designed and built in the US?

@@xoxxobob61 so touching,, Amen
Just happy to see rail alternatives to SITTING IN TRAFFIC. People took far longer to wake up than they should've, and that isn't even touching the topic of how far behind America is in high speed rail.
I would say that network wise america is probably behind but experience wise, its actually on par or better bang for buck than Europe or Asia. Many of the HSR in Japan for example cost hundreds of dollars.
The Koch Brothers kept killing any train or subway project across America because they are afraid the demand for oil will go down.
Thanks for this silent video, seriously, I appreciated no yakity yak, stating the obvious. I've been meaning to try Brightline but havent as of yet...I have taken the efficent but rather grim TriRail, hey its SUPER cheap....ya get what ya pay for..am I right? Thanks again.
I think that with brightline, you get More from what you pay for
I can’t with Florida😂😂😂😂
Fair.. still primative compared to Germany and Japan
Does it go to Jacksonville florida
No - but the Amtrak train does
They need a train from Miami to Orlando
Cuanto querrá el boleto
What app is shown on your iPad?
Fast
3 hours to go to Orlando from Mami by Brightline is the same time if I go driving by car, I don't see any advantage of this train. Could somebody explain?
Is is the same track as the Tri-Rail? Did it replace it?
No tri rail is further inland, this is share with the East coast freight company, the rest of the trip will be new track all the way to orlando
sure its clean hardley nobody on it
I've been on packed Brightline trains.

Imagine if the locomotive was fueled by ethyl alcohol. It would be much more efficient and powerful.
Or, hear me out on this, use electricity. I know, innovative
@@nervun8097 They do run on biodesiel as the locomotives are desiel-electric I believe and they would absolutely love to electrify but lets finish the Orlando expansion first lol
@@RedNuii true. The current rolling stock is just fine. But I do think that Electrification is something that Brightline must consider. They could convert their locomotives to use both overhead catenary and their diesel generators, so that they can electrify the line gradually
@@nervun8097 Yea, they have mentioned it before. I believe the current plan is to see if they actually do well once orlando opens. Hope they do.
Damn that premium is cheaper than a first class ticket on the Dutch railways, and it's like twice as good smh
i honestly hope this new train line over takes amtrak
This is seriously impressive. Now run it all the way up the east coast!
This service will need to be packed, at full capacity to make a profit. I want this service to succeed, but I'm not holding my breath.
Yeah but how many vehicles did you hit along the way?
More like how many stupid people did the Train hit along the way.
Did you mean twice the driving time or "half" the driving time? I'd rather drive if the train will take twice as long.
doesn't look like there are many people on that train, assuming this is a week day during morning rush hour. you'd think it would be packed.
It's usually empty
Very modern looking, liked the station also, but the train travels 57 mph approximately, this is not a comparable train, as the ones in Europe. It's slow like any other ordinary train service.
This true for now, especially due to the many grade crossings. When the line opens to Orlando, it will reach speeds around 125 mph, putting it much closer to a high-speed service, albeit still not comparable with the true high speed lines in Europe and Asia.
@@evanb.529 They are trying to push it to 135, we'll see how that goes. But much more important is the average speed of the train, and in this case Brightlines average from Miami to Orlando is actually quite high which is good. It cuts travel time by about an hour with a much better experience.
The train currently tops out at 79MPH. North of West Palm Beach 110 MPH and 125 MPH north of Cocoa. This is definitely comparable to European trains like the 125 MPH British Rail Class Pendolino 390, 125 MPH Hitachi 800/801, 125 MPH Lumo 803. 125 MPH Swedish Bombardier Regina. Not every train in Europe is going 186+ MPH.
It would have been truly epic if went to Orl or the last stop in Fl Jacksonville.... not holding out hope this will last...ridership? Can’t sustain itself with the non existent riders ..or volumes of riders daily need to keep it profitable or at this stage feasible.
Even Morocco way ahead of the 🇺🇸
