These are the same folks building the train from LA to Vegas. Can’t wait!!
Yeah, Forbes just did a great interview with the founder of Brightline, Wes Edens, and the secretary of transportation, can’t remember his name.
How Long Will It Be B4 The BrightLine Train Going To & From LA To Vegas Be Done So People Can Ride It 2:07:05
@@tameikabrown It should be done by the time of the 2028 summer olympics in LA, so about 4 years.
@@ncard00 THX For Letting Me Know
Yes. Vegas to LA will be huge.
Yes! More train videos please
Brightline themselves should do a proper cab view/ride video from the front of the train from Miami to Orlando and back.
52:36 i grew up there Deerfield Beach FL thank you for this train ride i got to see my hometown all the way From Georgia. I used to always watch the brightline train pass by when i be heading to the park it used to go from Miami to palm Beach i see they expanded it to Orlando hope you enjoyed your trip. And 52:41 that's pioneer park
Brightline is in talks with Brevard County and city of Cocoa officials about building a station in Cocoa.
-Lifelong Cocoa, FL resident
They are, and also working on expanding to Tampa of course, with Jacksonville also on the table, since that's where the FEC ends, which they own.
Yeah they need that. Long distance with no stops between West Palm and Orlando.
This is interesting. A nice little break from all of the driving. Good vid.
And all the other drivers not always driving the best way...

Hello Mike. I am familiar with your videos. My lady friend originally from Philadelphia area we've watched a lot of your content from there especially the downtown center City area. I just finished watching the live stream of Hori's Box fort Lauderdale airport and it went right into this video watching it now it's just after 5:00. I live 5 miles from Orlando international airport always thinking about checking out the Brightline but have not yet. Always enjoy watching your travels Man you've been everywhere. Thank you. Enjoy your time in Orlando
Thanks. Glad to hear it.
nice sounds
Great video EXCEPT for the coughing for the entire trip!!!!!!
You were lucky to get an unwrapped train...Several of the trainsets have ad wraps that obscure the view.
To promote the new service to Orlando, those will probably be removed soon.
👀Like U Decided To Give UR Vehicle A Huge Break From Driving From Miami To Orlando Huh Mike Deciding To Do Travel Differently This Time Around Ain’t Nothing Wrong With That AT All 8:20
The only other high-speed rail in the USA, after Acela in the Northeast.
Both have terrible average speeds, which high speed rail almost always has. Just build 125mph lines using S train accelerating 125mph EMU's, like the Alstom Coradia Stream, so you can also make many more stops along the route, without hurting average speed too much. Higher acceleration means better on time performance.
The railways of the DC - Boston megaopolis can't have this because there are too many sharp curves along the route. Acela Amtrak "high speed" probably tops 100mph max. I guess we won't get to see 200mph trains in this area in my lifetime.
Actually on a short stretch of straight track in southwest and central Rhode Island, the Acela routinely hits 125 mph. There's even more straight track between NYC and DC where the Acela does 110, but again due to curves and bridges there are lots of speed restrictions...plus the coaches that most corridor trains use are limited to 90.
@@flarrfan Correct, I was generalizing. There are some areas where track is straight allowing for maximum speed but I’ve been to Japan and Europe and we are decades behind as far as legit high speed trains. Not only government funding to redesign the rails will be an issue but there is the problem of having homes and businesses on that 400 mile stretch to consider.
Acceleration and average speed is way more important than top speed.
l like your video. Very different from the others. Good change. Florida is too flat. No other kind of terrain. Need some mountains or hills.
I Truly Hate To Say It But Grandpa Need’s To Cough A Little Quitter It’s Very Loud & Annoying As Heck 2:41:50
I came to the comments to see if anybody else noticed that, somebody give him a cough drop 🤣
@@playboymaxim Yeah PLZ Do That Sound’s So Extremely Annoying As Heck IK Everyone On Board Felt The Same Way I Did Like Can We PLZ Enjoy Our Journey Without Hearing U Coughing So Freaking Loud
@@tameikabrown He might need some Robitussin lol
@@playboymaxim OMG Yes Indeed He Does
It's nice to see the view, as the train go from city to city .But has to stop watching because of all the un train conversations and people coughing. Became less interesting
I agree. I truly wish Mileage Mike would’ve done something about that dude coughing, or the NY woman on her phone. He could’ve made some sort of threat, not a full fist, but maybe open handed sIap
That's the authentic, Brightline experience. Conversations and all. 😂
Mike The Next Trip’s U Gotta Do Is None Other Than AMTRAK & Metro 🚇 AT Some Point PLZ Can U Do These Video’s Whenever U Get The Chance To Do So With UR Busy Schedule U Got Lined Up Down The Line 16:55
