THESE GUYS SHOULD BE IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. For many years now! Come on!
Paul Rogers is in my opinion is the best Live vocalist I have ever seen live and I have seen over 100 hundred live shows in my day.
Agreed Darrell, He's the man!
I would agree if I had not seen Queen in 1978
I`ve seen over 10,000 and I agree
Bad Company started in the ‘70s. This is a time when you either had the talent to play live or it’s, “don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.”
Paul Rogers is so often underrated. Such a great voice!
Paul Rogers is one of the best lead vocalists in rock history!
Not many old rockers still have a strong voice like Paul Rogers!!
Wow....first time hearing this live version. They still have it .... aged very well indeed. :)
'Feel Like Makin Love' should be next on your list from BC. Then there's 'Wild Fire Woman', 'Run With The Pack', 'Cant Get Enough', 'Rock & Roll Fantasy', 'Whiskey Bottle'.... and loads more!
Rock Steady by BadCo. One of their best.
I totally agree. I love Rock Steady. When I first them live in 1976, Rock Steady was the song really kicked my butt that night.
Paul Rogers always took care of himself and his instrument and it's obvious.
you did FREE Mr Big the other day same singer and drummer Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke
Don’t forget Paul Gilbert!!!!
@@matthewfortune1746 paul gilbert was in the band mr big i was talking about the band free who did the song mr big which is where paul gilbert got the name for his band mr big
Paul Rogers, one of the greatest rock n' roll voices ever , and like a fine wine it only got smoother with age. . I know some will probably disagree with that statement but I stand firm. I'll even let others give suggestions to other great songs because I enjoy them all , and seeing Bad Co. live. .PRICELESS! !! PEACE HIPPIE JOE
Love the live version .... But .. the studio version is frikkin immaculate.. ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE!! Gotta be one of 50 best rock and roll songs ever and that is sayn something.
Nobody's Fault But Mine- Led Zeppelin. Bad Company. The first band signed to Zeppelins Swan Song Records.
One of my most favorite vocalists. A GOAT indeed.
BAD CO: "Love Me Somebody" "Gone, Gone, Gone" "Weep No More" Seagull" "The Way I Choose" "Don't Let Me Down" "Simple Man" " Live For The Music" " She Brings Me Love" Paul Rogers can sing the phone book and it would be a masterpiece!
Love "Gone, Gone" Gone," and would add "Electric Land" and "Rock n Roll Fantasy."
You should check out The Firm, Paul Rodgers and Jimmy Page’s group from the mid 1980’s, “Radioactive, Satisfaction Guaranteed, All the King’s Horses, etc”
Live in Peace
Thank you for reacting to Bad Company again Chod! The lead singer, Paul Rogers, also sang "All Right Now" for Free and it's a rock anthem, as well as singing for The Firm and briefly for Queen following Freddie Mercury's passing. Rock and Roll Fantasy, Feel Like Making Love, and Can't Get Enough are all tracks worth checking out!
Paul Rogers , one of the best voices in rock n roll !
Since you liked Paul's vocals. He did some concerts as lead singer for Queen. Was very good in my opinion. They also mixed in some Bad Company songs. Still miss Freddie vocals but still a good show.
Probably the best singer to come out of the UK in my lifetime of six decades plus. Saw Free play many a time in London in the 60's/70's and they have always been my go to band when I want to be reminded of my past. Paul is an amazing singer. Kossoff was the the first of many great guitar players to emerge at his time. Simon Kirke - what more can you say. Andy Fraser simply outstanding. Bad Company were not trying to be Free. They were unique and wrote incredible music that has lasted through the years just as all great music does... Thanks for posting. enjoy!
They were big in my Jr High and High School days -- like 1975 to about 1981! This live version, though, is VERY good and pretty true to the record. Gotta give these guys props for this 2010 performance. Paul Rodgers still has THAT VOICE that got him into so many bands. I could see Mick Ralphs there coz I recognize his face. The drums are very much pocket in this song, both live and studio. Perfect, really.
Mmmmmm yessss!!! MORE Paul Rodgers/Free/Bad Company PLEASE!!!!!!
The greatest blues/rock vocalist of all time and he's still doing it better than ever!
Cheers and thanx as always Chod!
I saw Paul Rogers 11 years ago ! He still had the great voice and energy!
Paul Rodgers Satisfaction Guaranteed live is amazing!
This band is as “old school” as it gets. In my opinion, Paul Rogers makes this band.
Solid group but it’s his sound all the way. I’d rather hear him riff with his voice over
a great lead solo any day.
This was the first band signed to LED Zeppelin’s new label at the time. I’ve always love Bad Company, and one of my favorite all time songs is from Free, “Allright Now”.
Paul Rodgers is one of the VERY best vocalists. Glad you see it. If you want to try another different one try Heartbreaker by Free (with Paul Rodgers on vocals). I love this song. The guitar tone is killer and Paul Rodgers is just Paul Rodgers. I promise this won't disappoint.
Paul Rodgers is still one of the best voices in Rock n Roll.
Paul was in Free, Bad Company and sang with Queen for awhile.
I saw Paul Rogers on a triple bill with Jeff Beck and Ann Wilson just a couple of years ago. They were each as good as they have ever been, even in their 70s.
"Rock Steady" should be next from them!
This song rips...Paul Rodgers voice is unbelievable live
Silver , Blue , and Gold . Seagull , Young Blood ....... list goes on !
Paul Rodgers is on that list of greatest and most recognizable voices in rock music.
Look in the encyclopedia for definitions: "Supergroup ......see BAD COMPANY"
QUOTE: "Bad Company are an English rock supergroup formed in Albury, Surrey in 1973 by singer Paul Rodgers, guitarist Mick Ralphs, drummer Simon Kirke and later adding bassist Boz Burrell.
Peter Grant, who managed the rock band Led Zeppelin, also managed Bad Company until 1982."
They never made a bad song. Let the music play!
Paul Rodgers sounds nearly the same as he did when he was a teenager in Free. Rodgers, drummer Simon Kirke and guitarist Mick Ralphs were original members but Ralphs has now retired due to a stroke. The other guitarist is Howard Leese who was originally in the band Heart with Ann and Nancy Wilson. The bass player I believe is Lynn Sorenson who I don't know much about him outside his work here. Original Bad Company bassist Boz Burrell has passed away.
They are missing the stronger bass playing of Boz Burrell.
Bad Company: "Rock n Roll Fantasy
", "Silver Blue & Gold", "Feel Like Makin' Love".
Paul Rogers with "Free", doing "Wishing Well" Live video, another amazing vocal performance.
this takes me back, didn't see this band but was lucky enough to work at Wembley in the early 80's when a stream of great acts (Bowie, Dire Straits, The Stones, Neil Young, Rush etc) played there both in the arena and the stadium. My job enabled me to see the complete gigs and get paid for it, great times, great music, great memories.
Song structure, content, feel, groove.melody.talent, musicianship, songwriting.........,.......
Oh shit, I love this song. Paul is a fuckin beast. Hell, the whole band rocked it.
Oh nO... 😁
he has been introduced to BC .
Welcome Brah.
Peter Grant (Zeppelin) was their manager...and they were signed to. zeppelin’s label, Swan Song.
Former guitarist from the band Heart, Howard Leese, on rhythm guitar
Thanks. I thought it looked like him.
Paul Rogers is transcendant. I love the band overall, but man, he just rules. And he was great when he went on tour with Queen, he's just plain awesome. Thanks for the reaction.
Now please do some freaking Jethro Tull. It's sort of shocking you haven't. They were literally one of the biggest bands of the 70s and were completely huge. A very large and varied catalog from 1968 - the 90s, a lot of opinions about what is their best work. But if you are doing live videos, please listen to Thick as a Brick from 1976 at Tampa Stadium. It is an abbreviated version, but man, they just kill. Stupid good.
The great Paul Rodgers. Check out the video "Free - The Stealer (Hits a Go Go - 12 -16- 1970)" to see a superb live performance of a 20 year old Paul Rodgers and see how he's always been badass.
Shooting star by bad company
Great song
Running with the Pack.!
Someone suggested The Firm and another Matchbox 20. I second both of those suggestions.
Filled in for Freddie Mercury for awhile so....
Just spin 10 from 6
You should react to a band called "THE FIRM" ..
Paul Rodgers singing and Jimmy Page on guitar. Radioactive & Satisfaction guaranteed are a few good ones.
Thanks for this reaction Chod...I love it...nothin' more to say...
Jeff Beck. Freeway Jam.
💯 "Feel Like Makin Love" PLEASE!? 🔥
Bad Company is a BAD ASS group!
I’d love for you to react to Al Stewart - Year of the Cat.
I think you would really like it.
They were the first group Led Zeppelin sign to the Swan Song label
Great band, great singer.. another singer you’ll like is Robert Palmer.. same kind of strong voice
Sneaking Sally through the alley.
Rock Steady and Ready For Love, please
LIVE FOR THE MUSIC is a fukified fav by BAD CO...It is sharp ,Give that one a listen
You MUST listen to his tribute to Muddy Waters album!!
Matchbox twenty If you’re gone...
Yeah they still got it, and they were broke up for like 30 yrs.!
They’re a lot better live now than they were when I saw them back in the seventies. They shared the stage with Kansas and Kansas blew them away. So I never went to see BC again.
One of my requests for was this singer, Paul Rodgers, and Neal Schon (Journey guitarist) doing a Muddy Waters tune, Standing Around Crying; old school slow blues ;)
I want to suggest Climax Blues Band "Couldn't get it right"
Bad Co. - Gone, Gone, Gone. Live or studio.
Love this song, but at least in this case, the studio version is WAY better than the live.
Still not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Not sure if they have even been nominated....SMH....
RRHOF is shit > when ABBA gets in it loses all credibility
Yeah, F the Rock Hall. It's a toilet bowl,. A band's legacy is measured by the fans for their appreciation for the music they created.
@@scottwoods9282 Agree one hundred percent. Just a Joke!
Please do Ready For Love, and Feel Like Making Love🎶🎶🎶
Yo check out Satisfaction Guaranteed by The Firm. Same singer and Jimmy Page is on guitar. Absolute Banger
☮️💜
Bad Company is not in the rock and roll hall of fame. Ridiculous. I saw them 5 years ago in Florida and they were amazing.
I know the bass player isn't original, Boz Burrell passed away, but who is this additional guitar player. It was always just Mick Ralphs on guitar.
Howard Leese from Mott the Hoople on 2nd guitar and Lynn Sorensen on bass!
@@micko11154 Howard Leese was the keyboardist and second guitarist for Heart during their "glory years". Don't tell me he was in Mott the Hoople too?! (mind blown, I had no idea).
@@HidingFromFate Ahh, sorry, yes, Heart! Mick Ralphs was from Mott the Hoople. Thanx for that m8!
@@micko11154 OK, thanks for clarifying. I was like.. "how did I not know this!" :P
@@micko11154 thanks. Howard also played in Heart I think.
Exactly what you said rodgers always sounds the same great singer
how about Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin I seen him on RUclips live in his late 60s and he still can rip it.💚♬
Electric land
Paul Rogers > best rock vocals still has it
Paul Rodgers is one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time!
Absolutely true especially live!!!!@
Matchbox twenty If you’re gone...
Please do Ready For Love, and Feel Like Making Love🎶🎶🎶
