That is awesome! I love how you use the least expensive products to create unusual and unique patinas. Helps our pocketbook too!! I’ve always used baking soda and vinegar to deodorize my sink drains. Now they make great art projects!!
You are so welcome!
If you dont like the aged, or rustic look then don't make it. Not sure why we have to leave a negative comment. Those who DO like it watch the chanels that make aged/vintage looking items....WE love it. This a chanel that shows how to create this look if you like this look...NOT you can only make it thos way...
Thanks for the kinds words! Just a technique if you like it ❤️
So wonderful and you make it look so easy to do. Tucking in my crafting knowledge. Thank you. ❤❤😊
You are so welcome!

It’s so worth it though
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gorgeous...This technic 😊for fabric also?
Not it won’t stand up
Thank you for sharing this baking soda technique! I do a lot of halloween and this would be a fine textured surface for the Witch dressers that I create using old jewelry boxes. 😉
You are so welcome!
I have a question about a 2 yr old video. Your 5 different ways to decoupage video you mention you don’t seal it with modge podge. You have the interior gloss you use, but question, can I put on the exterior for outdoor products and it withstand the outdoor elements? Thanks in advance
Yes you sure can
So fun to watch this new technique. Is the print made on an ink jet printer or with toner?
Toner on laser printer
Thank you and I suppose it doesn’t work well with an ink jet printer, right?
😊
Still wet
My favorites technique is using mod podge and paper towel or clay or crack mod podge.. PS have a wonderful day.
Thank you! You too!
@@OurUpcycledLife you too , I have fun watching it and I will come back watch more in the future thanks again.
I have been sitting on a very vintage room divider that I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with it and I think I may have just found the answer! 🖤💚
Glad I could help!
@@OurUpcycledLife I'm glad I found your channel!
😂😂😂 Eu vim, pensando que ia ver a madeira se desgastar! Mas, é só pintura! Tá valendo, obrigada.
Glad you enjoyed
I wonder how durable this technique is on the wood
soda with vinegar forms sodium acetate which can be used as a concrete sealant instead of epoxy and in food for longevity and ph control... so I guess its ok if sealed properly because the remaining baking soda which didnt react to vinegar could absorb humidity. Given that Id seal the wood before to prevent any moisture exchanges else it could crack more and look more "authentic" and/or rot
Great tips!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Horrible 😮
I absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing your ideas..
You are so welcome!
Love this 😍 what amazing look for Halloween with something spooky in it 👀🤗

You are so welcome!
That sign looks perfect on that brick wall
Thanks 😊
I had to laugh when I saw the thumbnail title, "Distress Wood Instantly," b/c I instantly thought: Give a 3-year-ols a hammer or get a puppy! But seriously, having neither a 3-year-old nor a puppy, my favorite technique is the use of a scented candle before painting. But I really like this technique a lot, too---it's an entirely different look from the candle technique---as if the piece had been through a flood , been painted over numerous times, a survivor! I see it with a layer of gold underneath, as if it had once had gold leaf ornamentation. and had been through some catastrophe, like the burning of Atlanta (I do like a good backstory!). Thanks, as always for sharing your talents with us!
Glad you enjoyed
As you realised not everybody is a fan of this look and I wouldn’t be for furniture, but to use in vases and plant pots this is great. Thank you for adding to my skills.
I totally agree!
Congratulations!
Love it!
Nice work❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!
This is a such a cool idea. It really does give a legitimate distressed look.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So easy
Que resultado fantástico ❤
Thanks ☺️
Great techniques. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
That is really great I bet some thinned down cheap plaster or spackling might achieve a similar affect...looks amazing and distressed and is a great idea! Thanks! 😊
It does!
Great you added coffee. Ive been experimenting with coffee to age the timber on my miniature furniture. My dollhouse story is that this is one well maintained home, no shabby chic. Just old, well polished furniture over the centuries. I use the original 100yr plus furniture as my guide. Ive soaked in coffee, sprinkled coffee, dried it to a fine powder, and still experimenting. To really age, though, one needs a fine wash of black, sanded, then have fun with treatments.
Thanks for watching
Amazing as usual.
Thanks again!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
