Thank you I was getting ready to make pillows and stumbled upon your video and was pleasantly surprised. I’ve always wondered how to get rid of those corners that are so pointy. Love your videos!
I plan to make some new pillows for my Spring decor - will be using your template for sure. In all my years of sewing I hadn't thought to do that. No more 'pokey-outys' for me! Thanks.
Hello Sara, this is so genius! Thanks so much for sharing your talents and also for your template, but mostly for your time! Off I go to make my pillows with no pokey outies! Blessings to you and yours
Great idea Sara! I use pillow form inserts and the envelope closure when I make pillows. This will make them look really good. Thank you for a great idea and job! 👍 PS - Thanks for template.
I am at this point now (not liking my pointy corners) and I am reviewing methods for making them look better. The video is excellent and I found the paper template. Is there a paper corner rounding template too? Also, I am trying to find a video showing how to do the corner rounding on pillows.
Ha! While watching hubby heard "pokey outy" and said 'hey, someone else that speaks your thingy language'. I told him I understand her perfectly about the corner thingy.s
Basically, no paper template needed. 1) Pillow width / 4 = depth of cut from corner 2) Mark 1/2” in from corner for 24” square pillow and smaller (or mark 1” in from corner for oversized pillow of 25” or larger. 😉
Someone asked this question previously but you hadnt answered it. So i will ask you again in case you forgot. (: Does/will this work with French Seams ? Im working it in my head but cant see the ending !!??!!
Okay so I've been watching so many tutorials trying to figure this out. My pillow size is 28 in high by 36 in wide and I'm thinking the template that you have might be too small Can you please tell me if there's a formula or something for figuring this out when the pillow was shaped as a rectangle.
Do you have a tutorial on how to stuff pillows most of the videos on RUclips show inserts. When I tried to stuff my own pillow with polyfill it came out very lumpy and uneven.
No she doesn't! but I like this idea!! I too could do with help in this area. Perhaps you could email Sara and ask if she has any suggestions: sara@sewsweetness.com

Thank you so much for this demonstration, and yes, I also say things like pokey-outie!

Thank you so much! I make reading pillows and I HATE pokey outy corners!
Thanks so much for sharing your inexpensive template. I saw a fancy plastic one selling for $35.

If anyone is active on this group can you please tell me if this template will work for super large pillows?
Do you have an acrylic version of this template

@@bronwyncarr6714 Thanks, will do.
Pointy-ouite. Can we be BFFs? I love you.
Really wish you’d shown an example with a feather down insert. Poly fill just never looks as good (unless someone is allergic, of course)!
I don’t see the inserts made for $3- inserts. 🤔🫣😋😬
