I see your concerns however, understand that it’s getting stepped down to 110V going through the charger. The only thing that I would recommend is using an in-line fuse built into the pigtail. He’s not going directly into the source. The new super 73C1X will have the direct charge capability.
It's all up to a charger , which is from 110v-240 v . Even back in Europe back in 1999 I was using these chargers on electric motorcycle . Everyone needs to stop saying , "epro said" if it made sense they would tell you don't use the battery at all .
Spoke to Eride and they said 100% do not use this and you will void the battery warranty just fyi
