Describing one of his discs as having a lot of heart. That's how you would talk about a huskie that saved your life in a snow storm. Pretty intense, I think you really need to be super serious about frisbee to get there. Which is quite cool. I love frisbee can't imagine how I would get to that emotional level.
You gotta love the fact that barsby remembers everyone who gave him a disc and how they all mean so much to him and have a story. This is one of the best itb videos ever
Best ITB ever. As a Barsbarian from New York who traveled to Vermont just to watch his amazing Worlds victory, I can just say there's no one on tour more fun to watch play. Super smooth forehands, outside the circle straddle plop putts, just butter.
The best in the bag I've seen!!! and he has the Banshee in the bag " best unknown disc around aka wind eater!!" 7-3-0-3 all day baby!!! Greg you keep helping the sport and being real and I and others will keep loving what you have done and what you will still do.
No one talks discs and flights better than Gregg Barsby. 400+ events, 72 wins, the guy knows discs and golf. Gifted commentator as well. Not fair. Awesome ITB.
'The Chuckster' made the bag! He is one of my TD's here in North Carolina, always been friendly and patient at events. Can't wait to get back on the Spike Hyzer swing!! Thanks GK, and Gregg Barsby for an in the bag. Cheers, and stay safe out there.
Brilliant ITB. As much as I like to see the discs thrown, a studio production enabled Gregg to dwell on each disc and explain his thought process behind the choice and evolution of its flight. Thank you, GK and GB!
Beautifully in depth insight into the mind and epic collection of an absolute discgolf legend! That Eagle Ace at Tyyni was the coolest thing I've ever seen. What an awesome dude, long live the empire...Barsby for President!
This is probably my favorite ITB I've watched. You throw tons of old plastic and it's great hearing the stories behind every disc. And bringing in all your backups was really cool too. I need to find a video of you rolling that old school Stingray, does anyone have a lead on that?
Finally a real in the bag, every pro has multiple bag setups for all the courses. This was awesome to see. Thank you GK Pro for setting the new standard for itb videos.
This video makes me so happy. I had the privilege of watching Gregg grow up in the NorCal series and to see all the old school plastic and discs itb just makes me feel good. I think I have one of those orange eagles for you Gregg
Barsby is a OG of the sport, I grew up 30 mins west of grass valley where he is from. Barsby is a legend In Nor Cal and has the same personality off camera as he does on. Super chill guy and amazing golfer, glad to see him win a world championship he definitely deserved it.
Fantastic, I needed this brief reprieve for my coffee break. Probably my favorite player on tour. Started playing 2 years ago and I love the Eagle. Hit my first ace on a 240ft dogleg downhill left. Bag a super flat star, domey somewhat seasoned 12x champion I blasted a lot of trees with starting out (play 1-2x a week in the winter here in Maine, 3-4x a week other seasons so it's seen a lot of use for only 2 years) and a star L. Such a reliable disc and couldn't be represented by a better guy.
Such a great in the bag - love the detailed explanations and Gregg’s openness in explaining his thought process. I’m a fan of the old school Innova plastic too. Quickly becoming a Barsby fan..
Thanks for the insight Gregg. And thanks gk pro with the continued awesome content. You guys have inspired me to make my own channel and film my own journey. Thanks again guys and keep up the content!!!
Thank you GK Pro and Gregg Barsby oh crew that work with GK Pro Thank you for Blog to RUclips with closed captions Truly appreciate it and best picture I have seen stay strong and believe in yourself to suggest business hoorah
I have a lot of respect for the Players that can just throw Fresh plastic off the Shelves and make it work, but Barsby got that flavor in his bag! Love seeing all the backups... this is my kind of in the bag.
Love the coyote such an underated disc, i use it for almost all approach shots and alot of short hole drives. Never use a putter its my go to putt disc
Fascinating to see his connection to every disc. What surprises me by FAR the most is how a long time Innova team player doesn't have a single Roc or Roc family member disc in his entire collection. Does he have something against the Roc? I'd be really curious to know as he never addresses what is probably Innova's second greatest disc ever.
P.S. Think it's neat that you're throwing the off the beaten path midranges, I'm definitely looking into them. I too, throw some off the beaten path mids: champShark3, champCaiman, and an XT Colt, starMako3(depends on where I am) are my mids. The Roc series are great, but don't have the finesse that Sharks/Shark3's, Caimans, and XT Colts have(for me). Thought about a Rat, have two protostars, but as a NC woods thrower, they haven't gotten into my bag yet. Interesting! Checking out the Croc, and Coyote soon.
Your bag and mine are so similar. Spooky similarities like the 167 Paul Mcbeth Destroyer and the roller Destroyer. The roller Destroyer is great for stand up, cut roller holes way to the left. I use a Gremlin is one of the only differences. Cool video. GO AWAY!! LOL
Yo Gregg, you ever use that yellow PFN Champion Banshee I gave (to pickle to give to) you? I still have that green one too if you want it. They feel amazing but i dont like to get used to something that is OOP. I throw discmania these days and the closest I've found to that is the color glow FD2, but that has a bit more glide.
Important to note that there are 3 different molds of the eagle. The original eagle or one of the newer Eagle-Ls are similar in flight to a lower glide, slightly less stable teebird. The Eagle-X (identified by more of a curved underside of the rim) I would say has a stability closer to a teebird but still with less glide. A lot of retailers and shops wont denote which mold is being sold so I highly reccomend buying eagles in person (and all discs when possible) so you know what you're getting. I use a newer champ eagle-x, a beat in champ eagle X, and a real old beat in original eagle to cover all my bases between the roc3s and Thunderbirds. I dont think this is like a firebird. Firebird is a straight beefcake even for faster arm speeds.
Dat history of the discs doh! :) Compared to a brand new "NAME HERE" stamp (unthrown) disc shown just to sell discs. Discraft actually has the SAME font for all the different signature discs. Doesn't really spark excitement.
Completely agree. Discraft feels more corporate and detached from the what I like about the sport. They just buy all their pros over, but I will say it's been working. Their sales are through the roof and popularity is at an all time high. It's a necessary evil for the growth of the sport though, and I'll never bash on someone for taking the money.
Jesus Gregg... This is hard to watch. I miss my CE eagle so.... Nice and flat always stable.😢just can't bring myself to spend so much on 1 disc when there is so much inexpensive awesome plastic out there.
It's amazing he looks and talks about every disc with love. Every disc has a story. Shows his love for the sport.

One of the best In the Bag videos ever. Gregg has so many great stories for almost every disc and seems like a really solid guy.
He is

Much respect to Gregg as he brings a level of authenticity to game that few do! Great stories on each disc. Team Rhyno all day!
Brilliant ITB. As much as I like to see the discs thrown, a studio production enabled Gregg to dwell on each disc and explain his thought process behind the choice and evolution of its flight. Thank you, GK and GB!
Also the fact that they gave him all the time he needed and not one of those rushed itb's. Great job GK pro!
Beautifully in depth insight into the mind and epic collection of an absolute discgolf legend! That Eagle Ace at Tyyni was the coolest thing I've ever seen. What an awesome dude, long live the empire...Barsby for President!
This is great. New'ish to disc golf but Barsby is definitely one of the personalities that I instantly liked. Good to see this.
This is probably my favorite ITB I've watched. You throw tons of old plastic and it's great hearing the stories behind every disc. And bringing in all your backups was really cool too. I need to find a video of you rolling that old school Stingray, does anyone have a lead on that?
7:34 🔥🔥🔥
Gregg spitting fire to the beat replay button ^
heard that too xD insane bars
Finally a real in the bag, every pro has multiple bag setups for all the courses. This was awesome to see. Thank you GK Pro for setting the new standard for itb videos.
Always cool to see a pro that you can tell really values and appreciates the discs he uses.
Hi Gregg -- this was hands down the best in-the-bag session ever! Great stories, great work. Thank you for doing it!
This video makes me so happy. I had the privilege of watching Gregg grow up in the NorCal series and to see all the old school plastic and discs itb just makes me feel good. I think I have one of those orange eagles for you Gregg
Barsby needs to write a book about these Eagles. I just learned so much in such a short time. Best in the bag video ever

You're the best, Greg.

I bought a180g champ coyote in2006. Its in the standby bag but im bringing it out. Great disc
Such a great in the bag - love the detailed explanations and Gregg’s openness in explaining his thought process. I’m a fan of the old school Innova plastic too. Quickly becoming a Barsby fan..
What a fantastic In The Bag. Thank you Gregg Barsby and GK Pro!
I love the banshee.
great video, I had a lot of fun learning about molds I have never heard of before and a little bit of disc golf history.
Those old eagles are great. But I've always liked the gazelle. I have an 11x kc pro gazelle and Dx gazelle that are fantastic.
Thanks for showing the Barsbarians what we've been waiting for!
Thanks for the insight Gregg. And thanks gk pro with the continued awesome content. You guys have inspired me to make my own channel and film my own journey. Thanks again guys and keep up the content!!!
Represent Grass Valley - Condon Park crowd. Thanks for introducing me to the game about 15 years ago at Condon.
Thank you GK Pro and Gregg Barsby oh crew that work with GK Pro Thank you for Blog to RUclips with closed captions Truly appreciate it and best picture I have seen stay strong and believe in yourself to suggest business hoorah
Top 3 all time ITB.1) Climo, mother of all ITB. 2) Barsby 2020 3) Jay " Yeti " Reading ( FAF ;) )
Yeti's is my all-time favorite because of how informative it was. He took time to do what he does best and that is educate
Do either of you have a link to Jay's or is it the one by SpinTV?
Great video, very in-depth!
Thank you kindly!
I have a lot of respect for the Players that can just throw Fresh plastic off the Shelves and make it work, but Barsby got that flavor in his bag! Love seeing all the backups... this is my kind of in the bag.
Awesome in depth in the bag.
Glad to hear Aitex is working out well for you Gregg!
You and me both!
This is the best In The Bag I've ever seen
Dude... You look so healthy. I never thought you looked bad, but I heard you were really taking care of yourself and it shows.
Inspiration.
Love the coyote such an underated disc, i use it for almost all approach shots and alot of short hole drives. Never use a putter its my go to putt disc
Barsby is the man. Much love.
Great in the bag - ordered a 168 scorp
My best ace was a 370 ft FH with swirly barsby scorpius, such a great disc.
Best in the bag I’ve ever seen !
I just recently bought my first eagle and just after a few throws hit my first ace. That thing will stay in my bag for sure.
3 of my 9 aces are from eagles! One of the best discs ever made.
really enjoyed the story of the jumpman disc being Uli's once upon a time and now is Gregg's favorite disc, pretty cool
No Roc’s in a Barsby bag...?!?! Really cool to see all the backups. Great job dudes.
hey greg, NC disc golfers welcome you year round. much love brother!
Love this, every disc has a story

gregg very good presentation.. from the Memorial patio codger
Banshee gang for life! My favorite disc. I have a stash of the PFN champions.
cotdang! we got a in the bag, in the bin, the van, in the attic, in the vault!
Yeah.....nice shout out to chuck! Sanford NC!
Shout out to Tulsa, OK. An excellent place to play disc golf.
Chuuuuuck! Dude puts on a good tourney, and very cool
Especially the Great 8.
Seeing Barsby pull out that Star Coyote made my year. The coyote will never leave my bag 🐺 🐺
Best IN THE BAG
Best in the bag video ever! haha

Gremlin is a great mid. I carry 4 at the moment :D
Got to watch the the skins round with barsby , filow and risley in san angelo ! Barsby and my boi Goodyear took it! Super class act dude
I'm curious as to how many Eagles this man has in his career. On the course and the disc itself ...
Yo Gregg, you ever use that yellow PFN Champion Banshee I gave (to pickle to give to) you? I still have that green one too if you want it. Brah I carry a dx banshee! It’s for rollers or super crazy trick shots where I need to get out of trouble!
I bought 3 Signature RR for XMas, kept 1 and gave 2 as gifts. Can throw it dead straight.
Gregg is the man
Ya! Texas’s own!
Barsby with the drip boi 💧
@4:04 What is a 3 ring? @7:18 too
Hope all is well with you homie!!
Got a barsby 2022 and it's the closest to the 2015 champ flat top I could find. Hope this helps
In and out the bad
What other innova mould is like the eagle? Never thrown one.
Edit: I suspect a teebird
Honestly, I would say firebird. They have the flatter top, they throw like a glidy straight firebird, for me at least.
Love my crocs, have a handful
That JMM Pawley Teebird! love'm!
best itb 2020
Aye Gregg, that DGPT destroyer is Steven Sisemore's!
Anyone here throw the deadalus? Just found one and curious to what its good for. My arm speed is intermediate
Goooo Gregg!
Just because it's Gregg.
Dat history of the discs doh! :) Compared to a brand new "NAME HERE" stamp (unthrown) disc shown just to sell discs. Discraft actually has the SAME font for all the different signature discs. Doesn't really spark excitement.

Anyone else wondering why he isn't using UPD bag anymore?
Best ITB ever!
I love the Dumb and Dumber reference lol
32 minutes! holy snoozefest
He goes through multiple bags of discs that he uses in different situations, and shows his backups.
This ITB makes all the other ITBs run home to their mommas.
no throw previews....bruh?
The people's champ
What does he spasms out at the very end? 😂
@#$% yeah you are Barsby! Get It!
From what I've gathered, 9 and 10 time KC discs are fairly uncommon at this point now as collectables.
Whats so special about the 10x aviars?
pretty sure marshall street has a bunch of bottom stamp scorps.
Gregg hit me up I'm pretty sure I found that orange ce eagle
You can't triple stamp a double stamp loool. Love the dumb and dumber reference
Barsby is like a cool, likeable, not annoying david spade
Jesus Gregg... This is hard to watch. I miss my CE eagle so.... Nice and flat always stable.😢just can't bring myself to spend so much on 1 disc when there is so much inexpensive awesome plastic out there.
"this one is more finger printy!"
he throws.... 425 foot rollers with a beat to shit DX Stringray???
Awesome discs. You can see the love. I do wish this dude smiled once in a while. Or show any emotion. Very blah interview.
