Thanks. I am working on a new gravity feed smoker episode, but it probably won’t come out until April when one of the new smokers is scheduled to be available for purchase.
Any update on this grill? Planing to buy a smoker this April. Can’t decide to get vertical or horizontal smoker and gravity fed or pellet grill. Thanks
I have enjoyed using my gravity fed smoker. I will be putting out a video on it soon about how my friend helped mount it on a cart. Having had both pellet and gravity, I can see the advantages of both. I am enjoying the gravity right now though. Good luck!
I've had mine for over a year now, and I'm not using it much any more. I'm just not that impressed by the flavor I get on the food - there's a hint of off flavor always present, no matter what charcoal I use, whether I use wood or not, or how well I clean it. There are a lot of reasons to like it, but I'll eventually go a different direction.
Love the videos bro!
Am looking for an all around smoker like this. Can you do an update? Any new gravity or electric gravity’s out. Your videos are really helpful!

I'd like to see more videos with the 980. Cookoutcoach says that he has won competitions with the 980
We'll see
I have never had issue with the flap. I did buy the LES Mod shelf. The idea of the shelf A+, the heaviness I give B-.
Hmm. I was going to get the shelf. Was the shelf too heavy? Or not heavy duty enough?
@@SmokeMasterD it could be slightly heavier, but I would buy it again. If anything for grease management. Food on the second shelf a pan below.
Welcome to #TeamCharGriller!

Thanks for your input. I think it will do well for what I want to use it for, but I may come to a similar conclusion.
I find that the damage may not be worth the cost.
It's a risk for sure. Couldn’t register the grill, so no warranty. I guess I'll see
