  • Well I finally got around to cooking a pork butt on the Char-Griller Gravity 980. I did this one hot and fast in about 8 hours.With B & B charcoal and hickory wood. So check out my step by step instructions on some tender and delicious pulled pork BBQ.

      I have 6 outdoor cookers, not including my Blackstone I try to rotate through them as they all do a good job. After over 2 years, my 980 has constantly produced quality food. I'd give it a solid 8. Thanks for watching 😎

      Hey Angrish, it was once thought that fat up would self baste the meat as it melts but it has been determined that the quality of the finished product is not really effected either cap up or down. There is plenty of internal fat to keep the meat moist. Thanks for watching and for the question
