This show has a pretty dark opening, and I was wondering why the main character died after only episode 1, but the twist was pretty interesting.

Solo leveling puts off so much SAO-esque energy, there's a good chance that this abridged adaption can even improve on the source material. I have high hopes for this one!

Gotta be honest, this was just the normal first episode with a handful of jokes tossed in. But regardless, the “your basically china in a bull shop” joke made the rest of the episode worth it. That was pure gold
The use of Samuel Kim's LokiXSquid Game was far too haunting for me to be watching this a 2:45am.

I love watching your work. I do however believe most abridged work that usually takes place is funnier and done almost completely different from a majority of the original wording. Still, good job with the voice acting and overall setup. Lots of progress can still take place. Take your time and do a great job.

As someone who read the book and hated them, I slept on the anime.
I will be checking out the abridge though. Hopefully i can gain an appreciation for Solo leveling via the abridge like i did with Something Witty's SAO abridge
