Famasol appears to mimic the concept of an umbrella, though ironically, they seem to be afraid of rain or sunshine, only appearing during clear nights. They are slender, appearing like a normal umbrella when they are asleep or otherwise incapacitated. However, during activity, their canopy-like outer layer springs up and reveals a long, thin body, devoid of any humanlike traits besides their single appendage - a hand. In my observation of their wake-up patterns, their hand uncurls itself from a tightly-wound handle-shape to a paper-thin hand. I have only seen one aesthetic variant of Famasol. The canopy is a rich, vibrant green, while the interior is alternating rings of white lace patterns and flat blues. The cane body is brown. I believe this is a camouflage attempt, although unsuccessful in the wintertime, when grass is covered by snow. If want some ideas I've thought of a corruption cycle that could be used for inspiration. 1. A small, eyeless gecko with an extra set of limbs with a convex disk on its back 2. A dog sized 6-limbed reptile with a single eye emerging from the hunch on its back 3. A nearly bear shaped reptile whose back resembles a cyclopic skull with smaller set of limbs in the middle resembling human hands. A specific thing that I find unnerving in character designs is when a creature is made to look a familiar one but in a different taxonomic class, like a mammalian fish or avian amphibian
The ability to revert enigmorphs to their nascent form seems like a fascinating game mechanics, I can already think of several uses: 1. When catching(?) an engimorph, it reverts back to its nascent form, so you train it yourself 2. As a way of going back to the other forms for their unique benefits 3. Potentially to keep making your enigmorph stronger? like a prestige system
Imagine a giant Enigmorph behemoth towering over a person, laughing maniacally as it prepares to devour it’s poor defenceless victim… BONK! *gets rammed by a car or something pop! “AWWWW ITS TINY NOW!”
Thank you so much for Borabark, I love him so much. Everyone uses gravestone imagery, I appreciate the attention to ashes. My cremated grandparents are currently on a special shelf in my bedroom. They always asked for crazy stuff to be done with their ashes as jokes over the years, so becoming creatures would have been a great plan to them. 😂
Very tiny visual thing with the lexi format, I think the place where the type stamp is on the page should be a lighter colour, I can barely see a lot of them. Otherwise omg I am so excited this is incredible I adore every enigmorph
I can only imagine how fun it would be to make a sketch of a newfound enigmorph and it will stay like that in your Lexi until you decide to edit it. Also naming it for the first time and then sending data to the head researcher so only later after receiving a response you'll find out how it's actually named :)
A hermit-crab-like enigmorph that remains the same size but corrupts the "shell" it's wearing depending on the circumstances could be cool to see. Heck, it could even have a split corruption cycle depending on what you give it to use as a shell.
I really like the concept of 3 variants of each creature, with only light visual differences in design. It's a major step up effortwise from shiny recoloration, but in the sense of collecting it triples the size of possible collections and in the context of casual play allows the player to feel a stronger connection to their creature because it's the variant they like most and they might have gone through greater effort to get said variant.
iirc, Jack said previously that the different elements of the different variations would be independent. So you could have the base colors but with the horns from the rare one and the tail from the super rare one. If each enigmorph has 3 variants and three things that change between them (color + two other traits) then that would be 27 variations of each.
New subjectively videos are like waiting for Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Started watching in 2020 at the very beginning of the mazah region project, and am still a big fan today. This channel keeps me wanting to draw and be creative as a casual artist for my own pleasures ❤

OH I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PRESENTATION STYLE. EXCELLENT WORK!!! Enigmorph Suggestion Wise I don’t have a lot to suggest but I AM excited to see demon-y enigmorphs since there IS a type for it
I have been tuning into subjectively on again off again for a few years now and every time i come back I'm amazed at what i see. I very recently got a drawing tablet from my sister, she got it some time ago and never used it. A few times a week I'm gonna see what doodles i can come up with even without any prior experience, its channels like this that make me wanna take a stab at drawing myself. Keep up the amazing work and designs! Really excited to see what else comes from this series!
so if most of the enigmorphs are aquatic-looking, what about a lava lamp? Maybe something that goes through fire, water, and fae? I don't know the type matchups, but it seems fun!
I do like the idea, but the story takes place in the late 1800s, lava lamps didn’t exist yet! Maybe a funky enigmorph that eventually inspires the design of a lava lamp…
I think it would be so cool if before you have enough info for the official entry you have to note things down yourself and possibly draw. It would make you feel like a proper explorer
Once you are done with this project it would've been great if you could realease this as a book! I would love to have Lexi Innominatus with all the Enigmorphs in a bookshelf at home. I think it's a cool idea to have this in a physical form. Thank you for all the work you've done so far! Truly wonderful!
may i suggest, hypothetical gameplay wise, that this could have investigations like Wizard's Quest: Mysterious Times? you sign up for mystery, and then have to go around town investigating it to figure out what's going on and how to solve it. like, as an example, one was a little girl appearing and causing a sudden winter, and you had to buy matches from her to make her happy and disappear, removing the snow. the mysteries you got were randomized in which one you triggered, so, theoretically you could play the game a few times, and get a different order of 30-or-so mysteries each time. maybe have a board to sign up for them, like pokemon mystery dungeon? just some fun thoughts
I love how, the presentation abasically basically walks us through the process of documenting Enigmorphs. It makes me want to come up with some little guys myself. Also, Lucernamaris might be one of my favs thus far it's so beautiful. Keep it up!
A jack-o-lanten that goes from squid, to crab, to siren(?) is quite an interesting cycle. Would be an interesting sight to see a group of Waxlings floating across a field, especially if they had variants in the group.

kicking my feet with delight when you included the stable enigmorph idea :3 another AMAZING video. I love the proctor character, he kind of reminds me of the main character at the beginning of the magnus archives podcast. I really want to make fanart of these funny critters they are badass
I think a very interesting Enigmorph idea would be something to do with electricity and/or cloud phenomena. It could be Aerial type if that isn’t limited to just birds, and possibly have some mytho-inspired elements as a reference to how ancient people interpreted lightning as divine.
I love how this video basicly tells us how to make our own enigmorph pages I am so happy to get this info I want to make some of these creatures Even if they don’t become part of the story or lore Maybe I can make my own
I think my favourite part of pokémon is the idea of befriending the pokémon. I would love to know if it possible to befriend enigmorphs. And if so, how? Would it depend on the personality of that enigmorph? In any case, I am excited to hear more about them!
A few days ago, while studying and listening to RUclips videos about the regions of Pokemon, I stumbled across a video about Pokemon: Legends Arceus, and realized that game provides an impressively great gameplay loop for what could eventually be the Enigmorph game. In Arceus, there is a central town where the people start wary of Pokemon but as you introduce them to and give them Pokemon to make their lives easier, they eventually open up and warm to the Pokemon. I realized this would make an amazing gameplay loop: the player travels from the main “hub” campus to various fairly open-world locations with different types of Enigmorphs. Ancient jungle islands with abandoned ruins, dense Victorian cities, volcanoes, anything mysterious and lovecraftian would work. There, players would study enigmorphs to figure out their behaviours, adding to their notebook as they do, and eventually befriend some. These would then be used to solve puzzles / problems and opening up new areas of the given region, or given to NPCs in the hub world to gain benefits or open new areas. The player would bounce back and forth between settings, perhaps using an enigmorph found in the city to unblock the entrance to a Mayan temple in the jungle, etc, perhaps fighting cultists of the prime enigmorphs along the way. All of these things would promote a rotation of enigmorphs into and out of the party, and the concept of reversing a third-stage enigmorph back to a first - stage could prove as a sort of “boss battle” puzzle to attempt to set up the circumstances of the transformation as an angry third-stage attempts to lure you to sleep or tear you a new one.
love how much Parrafeign immediately reminded me of Cosette’s earlier design with the candle covering her face! will there be more human characters whose designs directly reflect certain Enigmorphs important to their stories? like something similar to Lillie and Nihilego maybe..
So…. a few notes First, I love the new introduced line. And how it experiments with the notion we had before Like… each Enigmorph had previously just entered one category Now is two. And… I think is genious the idea of the Candle passing from fire, to flora, to fae. All keeping the light type Makes me wonder how my ideas would translate with that, since I made them following the idea that they could only be flora, fauna or construct Since nascent Enigmorphs can be of more complex types as well, makes me think of how to change them but still make them have sense Is there any set idea for that? Like… are nascent Enigmorphs too young to be faes? We have seen a pair of types of the same group together (fire and light). So… can that be done with other pairings? The entry of the pumpkin crab says that most Enigmorphs take the shape of a sea creature. Is that true? We will see more marine creatures than artificial/floral/other animal creatures? So many questions And I love it!
I'm so, so delighted by this project! It really hits all my favourite notes of worldbuilding and creature design! It makes me want to design some fun monsters myself
I'm really digging the use of more mature themes in this series so far, like death, decay and sexuality, and I look forward to seeing what other concepts you come up with! I feel like there's a missed opportunity though with not calling Abborent 'Arborent', although that might be a bit too on the nose 😜
Jack, can i just say.. this is the best project ive watched in al my years online. And im not exaturating. I LOVE creepier designs that fedl unhuman or kust slightly un easy but not of puting. WHICH IS EXACTLY THIS. i also LOVE Deep sea creatures so glad to see some in here and hope to see more. And the LORE IS JUST CHEFFS KISS. Like i just love every aspect, and the idra of each enigmorph having some variants that a rare is just so cool to collect. I would love to see a video where you dive more into that again, cuz in another video you did talk about how not just 3 forms but lots of different traits that can be randomly aplied each with their own ods if im correct. Anyways that sounds so cool and i would love to see al the combinations, i feel like some could have more variants then others. Anyways i just love the project, keep doing what you doing man
What about one looking like a flip flop being washed up at shore. The strap could function as eyes that can be tucked away. Aditionally the flipflop would be able to bend backwards and sidewards so that it looks like a nudibranch. This one should be stable. Well because flip flops are basically unbreakable
Personally? I'm thinking of a Construct Enigmorph that's made of glass shards. Different cosmetic variations could include obsidian (as in, volcanic glass), old glass (glass made using old methods tends to have a green tint to it), and even colourful stained glass. Who knows, maybe it'd corrupt further into a glass lens, or prism?
If the third variation of any enigmorph is the most corrupt, like variation is not corrupted physically but also mentally. Hence, the form reflects that and that they could the most violent version of any enigmorph, but they are also the rarest
I'm not sure how you would work it, but I feel a bedsheet ghost would work really well as an enigmorph. It really embodies the idea of the supernatural hiding behind comprehensible human creations.
The presentation and immersion were some of the best I've seen in a while. I like the extensive detail and wording when describing the functions of all the pages and how the researches should fill them out. I do wonder if you would like to translate the whole "researchers draw their own version of the Enigmorphd based on their experience" onto the actual game. Maybe you could have the "researcher" take photos of the Enigmorphs, and then they can decide whether or not they want to "trace that picture" into either the basic image, the misc blank part or the variants depending on the action that the Enigmorph is doing during that photo. I also wonder how customizable would you be willing to make the personal Lexi of the player character, though that could be a lot of work. Either way, the concept has certainly caught my attention.
These are actually pretty cool. I'd like to see a stingray with crystal-like spikes on its back, and while stable, there are 6 different variants for which crystal color is most common, each having a partially different design, but varied personalities. My idea is that it lives specifically in water found in caves, and while not aggressive, can be very dangerous when provoked, as the crystals can shoot out and regenerate.
this takes me back to Dugald Steer's ology series I read as a kid, I would spend hours looking through those books. I hope this project gets a physical release one day! I love this new format, so immersive :)
Have you considered creating an enigmorph based on the concept of “orb” optic phenomena on old cameras. Back in the day, people often connected them to ghosts.
This paste is gorgeous, I have no words, it is so well made and we will work that it will really suit the new game in the spirits of Lavkraft.I promise that if I ever learn how to create games or want to create a game, your project and your world will be first in line for implementation, this universe is too beautifully made.
Id actually like to see enigmorph concepts based around casino games such as dice and cards An ideea that might not quite work but i still find fun is that the apex form can become an entire casino building itself

1. A small, eyeless gecko with an extra set of limbs with a convex disk on its back
2. A dog sized 6-limbed reptile with a single eye emerging from the hunch on its back
*Duckbees*
A duck, with the abdomen of a bee, the beak of a buck, and stinger of a wasp and the personality of a Canadian Swan having a bad day. 😨
The ability to revert enigmorphs to their nascent form seems like a fascinating game mechanics, I can already think of several uses:
1. When catching(?) an engimorph, it reverts back to its nascent form, so you train it yourself
2. As a way of going back to the other forms for their unique benefits
3. Potentially to keep making your enigmorph stronger? like a prestige system
Imagine a giant Enigmorph behemoth towering over a person, laughing maniacally as it prepares to devour it’s poor defenceless victim…
BONK! *gets rammed by a car or something
pop!
Respect your elders or else extra-dimensional entities will alter and mutate plants to posses their ashes and kill you, the classic saying.
Unvale is really fun! It’s like a well-organized wiki for all of my OCs
Im getting Magnus archives vibes from all of this and I love it so much.
Love this style of video! Its very immersive. Really into all the enigmorph designs so far too. Some really fascinating concepts. Keep up the great work!
Waxling has gotta be my favorite.
I would 100% want one as a companion.
OH I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PRESENTATION STYLE. EXCELLENT WORK!!!
Enigmorph Suggestion Wise I don’t have a lot to suggest but I AM excited to see demon-y enigmorphs since there IS a type for it
There is a sense of pride I have just as someone who’s simply watched your videos, so thank you for making something I can enjoy watching :]
Ah, yes. I also love tiny candle squids that become jack-o-lantern crabs with candles sticking out of its head to a pumpkin lady with pumpkin-
*why does my cursed mind force me to wonder what pumpkin pie made from those things would taste like oh god why*
Worldbuilding is insane as always. The creature designs and the concepts behind them are always so freaking good, keep it up!
This series is my favorite project of yours!
I love this project so much, the aesthetic is so cool, unique and engaging. The creature design is fantastic and captivating. You’re killin it Jack
places with bellebora being notibly more full of life is so cool, especially as the dead fertilises life
If we’re gonna have a dream Enigmorph, we need an Enigmorph born from lust or romantic pining.
Keep up the amazing work
I love all the designs in this video it makes me want to make some fan art of these little guys, So far the little wax crabs are my favorite. 🦀
so if most of the enigmorphs are aquatic-looking, what about a lava lamp? Maybe something that goes through fire, water, and fae? I don't know the type matchups, but it seems fun!
I do like the idea, but the story takes place in the late 1800s, lava lamps didn’t exist yet! Maybe a funky enigmorph that eventually inspires the design of a lava lamp…
@Subjectively Maybe the "pre-lava lamp" could be a preservanr of some kind? Like the brain in a jar stereotype used for a mad scientist character...
I think it would be so cool if before you have enough info for the official entry you have to note things down yourself and possibly draw. It would make you feel like a proper explorer
This project is truly incredible! Keep it up!
I found your channel recently and it is quickly becoming one of my favourites! As an artist I can feel lessons i've learned through art school and beyond becoming more clear. I'm hyped up, inspired and ready to make more stuff! Cheers!
god these designs are so pleasing to look at, cant wait for more to be released :)
i would LOVE to see an angel enigmorph. maybe it goes from just a gem with wings floating around it to some some sort of multi-eyed bird creature, to a humanoid bird beast. im not sure what type it’d be, but im sure it’d be awesome
kicking my feet with delight when you included the stable enigmorph idea :3 another AMAZING video. I love the proctor character, he kind of reminds me of the main character at the beginning of the magnus archives podcast. I really want to make fanart of these funny critters they are badass
Love the designs, and the narrative really sets the stage. Can't wait for more
Your lore videos are always my favorite no matter the subject, the immersion is amazing!
I think a very interesting Enigmorph idea would be something to do with electricity and/or cloud phenomena. It could be Aerial type if that isn’t limited to just birds, and possibly have some mytho-inspired elements as a reference to how ancient people interpreted lightning as divine.
I love how this video basicly tells us how to make our own enigmorph pages
I am so happy to get this info
I want to make some of these creatures
Even if they don’t become part of the story or lore
Maybe I can make my own
I would love an actual physical book with all these creatures
I think my favourite part of pokémon is the idea of befriending the pokémon. I would love to know if it possible to befriend enigmorphs. And if so, how? Would it depend on the personality of that enigmorph? In any case, I am excited to hear more about them!
I would say my favorite is the waxling enigmorph cycle!
I like how the candle goes into the pumpkin to continue its transformation
So…. a few notes
First, I love the new introduced line. And how it experiments with the notion we had before
Like… each Enigmorph had previously just entered one category
Now is two. And… I think is genious the idea of the Candle passing from fire, to flora, to fae. All keeping the light type
Makes me wonder how my ideas would translate with that, since I made them following the idea that they could only be flora, fauna or construct
Since nascent Enigmorphs can be of more complex types as well, makes me think of how to change them but still make them have sense
Is there any set idea for that? Like… are nascent Enigmorphs too young to be faes? We have seen a pair of types of the same group together (fire and light). So… can that be done with other pairings?
The entry of the pumpkin crab says that most Enigmorphs take the shape of a sea creature. Is that true? We will see more marine creatures than artificial/floral/other animal creatures?
So many questions
And I love it!
I absolutely loved attending this seminar! I legitimately got some ASMR while listening, it was great
Excited to learn more about the enigmorphs and their world! Thanks
8:34 Yes! UnVale is absolutley amazing, I'd totally recommend it. That's me in the bottom right corner with the lava lamp dog :]
I got such a jolt of serotonin seeing you there! Also, hi zero!
I'm so, so delighted by this project! It really hits all my favourite notes of worldbuilding and creature design! It makes me want to design some fun monsters myself
Your passion shines through your videos.
I'm really digging the use of more mature themes in this series so far, like death, decay and sexuality, and I look forward to seeing what other concepts you come up with!
I feel like there's a missed opportunity though with not calling Abborent 'Arborent', although that might be a bit too on the nose 😜
I love the shape of that crab
I need one
YESSS more Enigmorph stuff we hypee!!
If the HHC believe in knowledge being power why are they so hell bent on being anonymous?
Very good question. Unfortunately, we are not at liberty to disclose this information at the present time
@Subjectively I understand sir, thank you
You really got "I'm sorry, but I can not disclose this information," response.
@kennethfajardo9102 that is an accurate summary of what just happened
The irony of that statement is not lost on me.
I’m maining the crabs already.
Waxling is adorable and Parrafeign is gorgeous
YES i love this series so so so so much. Always happy to get to dip into this exciting universe.
Loving this series, as always!
this takes me back to Dugald Steer's ology series I read as a kid, I would spend hours looking through those books. I hope this project gets a physical release one day! I love this new format, so immersive :)
Based on how the seminar was presented it sounded look a full on art competition was being announced. That would be sick!
Have you considered creating an enigmorph based on the concept of “orb” optic phenomena on old cameras. Back in the day, people often connected them to ghosts.
I wanna see a biblically accurate angel enigmorph
YESS!!! I LIVE FOR SUBJECTIVELY CONTENT
I love how much the logo looks like a cicada
This paste is gorgeous, I have no words, it is so well made and we will work that it will really suit the new game in the spirits of Lavkraft.I promise that if I ever learn how to create games or want to create a game, your project and your world will be first in line for implementation, this universe is too beautifully made.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS VIDEO
This was such a cool in-world video. I loved it ! So happy that there will be more :) I'm eager to see how things go forward !
Id actually like to see enigmorph concepts based around casino games such as dice and cards
An ideea that might not quite work but i still find fun is that the apex form can become an entire casino building itself
This is my first watch of this series and I couldn't help but see them as alternate-dimension Ultra Beasts that were being studied and recorded for Ultra Recon
