Something about this lady heals people. I always feel a healing from her. I don't think the voice is the real talent. It's spirit. she transfers spirit. I know singers with much better sound (now) than Whitney's but they don't raise the hair up on my arms and soothe me. I don't know what she has but it never left her...
Whitney's voice has truly been regaining strenght in her past 2 shows. For all the people who thought she was over done and finished, this video clearly dismisses all negative comments. Now that her vocal nodules are removed her voice can only get better. Her high belts are getting powerful and her head notes are getting more clearer and accessible. Now the only thing she need to get back is that beautiful falsetto that used to make u burst into tears.
If you call yourself a true Whitney fan you shouldnt be sad that her voice isnt what it was.. You should be happy that the world has one like Whitney.. Because its no one like her! And even though her voice isnt what it was, her voice is still AMAZING and the BEST around! She has been performing ILTY for months like this. She has sung ILTY in the same way she did here in Geneva, Rome, Milan, Glasgow, Birmingham, Nottingham, Adelaide, Melbourne, Tokyo, Korea, St Petersburg and Moscow. YET THE PRESS NEVER TALKS ABOUT THE GREAT PERFORMANCES. All they do is nitpick on a bad note and interview the 15 people (of all the 10,000 that filled the entire stadiums) who left early. The British press are giving 5 pounds to people to say Whitney sounded bad in the show.
Do you lot know anything about music? Whitney was never a soprano...how can you expect her to have such a high voice now, after all these years of abuse, and neglect. God bless her, she will get back to somewhere near where she was...this is someone speaking who had their concert of whitney in scotland cancelled, cos she was not up to it...still love her though...will go next time she comes back

First of all, soprano, mezzo and alto are usually for OPERA singing(that means women singing most of the time in their head voice).It does not really work for pop singer, cause some pop female can sing with a very low chest voice, have a very deep tone,and at the same time can hit whistle notes(Mariah was a good example of that and that does not make her a coloratura soprano for me).Whitney's chest voice has always been way too heavy

Whitney truly is one of the BEST voice ever, and she doesn't need whistle to be called the VOICE, but saying Whitney has a whistle register is stupuid. Her highest note in head voice is around C#6
@moattar1 True, and they have a helluva reverb on her voice. But, those "games" are a sign of her technique. You've gotta get through the performance the best way you can, and if she's a good cheater, it's better than her messing up the song more with squeaks, scratches, and dropped notes. LOL

Sounds strange she sings this song and not knowing the meaning of which has not managed to cling to God and quit drugs.
It was her reliance on God that she knew that oneself is fragile, and surely nothing without him.
