Hi this morning I just happen to be looking at my change and I found a 1974 no mint mark penny and it’s in great condition how would I have it graded and looked at to possibly sell

Misinformation. 1974 no mint mark cents are minted in Philadelphia. Hundres of millions made. The website is british. Only the British call the coin a "penny". Correct term is cent. This site issues false information for clicks and ad revenue. Bogus.
Actually the the 1974 they’re talking about weighs 3.1 ounces,where the normal 1974 penny weighs 3.5 due to the amount of copper it contains…. 3.1 to 3.5 % copper 1974 no mint mark penny was a test penny and discarded later… A hand full of them ended up in circulation…
this coin does it have to be a brown color or aluminum like that one very rare one?? is there a article or something that backs this up other then videos on here?
I have an 1974 no mint penny and u r absolutely correct about only an handful were made, so far, it is better to have NGC or PCGS grade it, then , Heritage Auctions or Great Collection will gladly place your coin I their portfolio and let the bidding begin
No this guy has no clue what he's talking about it's a 1974 penny made of aluminum and there's only 1 in a private collection and it's only worth 200,000 a 1974 Penny in uncirculated condition is only about $70
No Mint Mark=Philadelphia Mint. They were produced in the billions for that year. Definitely not worth grading unless you have a 1 in a 100 million type error coin.

This idiot is new ,they didn't put a P period on any Lincoln penny's till 2017, for his presidential anniversary if a p was on a 74,an was rare I'd be rich, those coins you got bud the made billions, so if it doesn't grade over 67..or more it's going to cost you $30 bucks to get it graded ..is it worth it??

I have had many coins that I should never have sold for the prices the coin shop gave me so this time I waited and if your answer is positive I will auction it off. This is the 1974 coin i held on to.
If it in really great shape an has full bands,..not only the lines that go up and down, those 2 little lines that separate the 2 bands, there's 2 bands 1 at the top of the toech,1 at the bottom sorry if u know this can't be no separation if not send off to pcgs or NGC to have them graded, you might have something..happy hunting 🎉
I have one immaculate condition. There's also a gap between the ear. I don't know if it's a error or it's. It's meant to be like that when looking at other avails.Nineteen seventy four , the ears are joined
