Thank you for talking about it. I have spots that have come and gone over a few years. A doctor told me that they were age spots and normal. More and more people are coming out to talk about it making it more acceptable and understandable. People like you make the world a better place to live in.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Everyone has something going on in their lives but you’re right, how you handle it is what matters. You are a beautiful and talented lady and we will continue to celebrate with you. Looking forward to what’s in store. 🎉💕🙏🏾
What a beautiful woman you are....inside and out! I look not at the person but their spirit which covers more than the physical being. Welcome back and I too pray for your continued comfort. And that blouse and earrings are gorgeous!!

I've had vitiligo since i was about 5 yrs old and it first came out on my eyelids and knees and since then i was embarrassed to wear shorts and i looked like a racoon with white eyes! As year went by I tried several treatments but none worked so i gave up and just learned to live with it. Throughout the years it disappeared on my eyes but then came out in other areas of my body including my private parts. Then when i was about 32 years old, all of my skin slowly started turning a white and now its fully covered. I am ok with it now cuz im all one color but the only problem is that if im in the sun too long without protection, then its starts turning brown and my arms has big brown spots due to the sun hitting me there the most. But i dont care what others think and im ok now but when you first experience vitiligo, it can be a bit scary and depressing. Thx for ur story. Stay blessed and be positive. ❤ oh and i never experienced any burn sensations so i guess it hits different with each person.
Well said. I was surprised by the burning sensation this time. I was not sure what was happening at first. After 19 years my vitiligo also has a different pattern. Only God knows what is happening. Thank you so much for your kind words. Cathryn 😊
Hello, my grandson, who just turned 15 has vitiligo, as far as we know he is the first family member on any sides to have it, his started when he was around 6 or 7 with just a light spot on his back and I think one on his stomach, we noticed it mainly because he gets really tan in the summertime, my grandson is white, most people don't realize that vitiligo doesn't only affect African Americans, I myself was ignorant of the fact, once my grandson hit puberty his vitiligo went nuts, he has learned to deal with it really well and his friends accept it and he explains it to people who ask, he has it on his face, his has are covered in it, his legs are really bad but he still wears shorts and the boy is 6"1 so he has long legs😊...The one most important thing we've learned is, vitiligo burns in the sun really bad, so while he doesn't need a heavy sunblock on part of his body because he tans in a hot second he does have to sunblock his vitiligo heavy because it will burn and hurt really bad...his parents did offer to take him to the dermatologist for medicine to try to get pigments back but he has opted not to as of yet because he say's his vitiligo is part of who he is...just thought I'd share
Love this! Your Grandson is amazing! Vitiligo is a part of who we are and not ALL that we are! Thank you for sharing this awesome comment. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
My beautiful Sister, you remain "fearfully and wonderfully made" just the way our Heavenly Father made you. I appreciate you and thank you for coming on the Tube and educating us about what you are experiencing. I will keep you lifted in prayer for relief from any pain and agitation. Now Ms. Catherine, you know we love you and all you do. We watch you for your unbelievable creativity!!!! Vitiligo will have to move over cause we ARE going to continue to support and love on you!! Thanks indeed for sharing. I'm in Atlanta if you ever head this way!! Staying in prayer, Shanda Clemmons. Smooches!! 😘😘
I love your DIY ideas. I missed your videos and wondered what was going on. I have the same condition and it is on my hands as well. One of my uncles had it and like you it runs in my genes. I used to cover the legions as they are called with make up however that ruined my clothes and got on everything I handled. I finally just accept it and it is heartwarming to see one of my top favorite decorators is just like me and embracing her 'difference' for the unique blessing it is!
Hi there! Thank you for leaving this amazing comment. It blesses me so much! We all have a purpose on this earth no matter how our skin looks. Yes, we have to accept it and know that we've got great things to do just like everyone else. Thank you for letting you light shine Darling! Cathryn

Your channel is amazing and so enjoyable!! God has blessed you with many talents. You are beautiful and I pray God's healing but please stay at peace and stay blessed my friend.....
I'm glad you shared your challenge. I didn't know it could burn and be so uncomfortable. My maternal grandmother had a touch of what looked like it could have been Vitiligo on her bottom lip and so do I. The discoloration was never diagnosed so maybe that was not what it was. Yes, God is still good! And you are beautiful! 🙏🏽 Praying many more blessings for you!💐
Thank you for sharing. I have it too, and I'm so scared. I'm trying to prepare myself for the outbreak. Thanks for helping me with some confident. You are beautiful and confident. Thanks
Sweet and Beautiful Tangie! Fear not. It has been 19 years for me and I have learned alot. I believe my success started with a diet change and limiting my exposure to the 🌞. I have been private about having vitiligo was always underneath my clothing. But my hands are my tools Sis. If you have any questions, send me an email. I got you. Cathryn
Thank you for this video. My husband appears to be developing vitiligo in his late 60s. (He hasn't been to the doctor yet to confirm.) I didn't know that there were symptoms beyond loss of pigment. Now we'll know more questions to ask at his appointment.
Hello several years ago when I was I think in my 30's on my right elbow my pigment changed, it was weird one day my color was there and like 2 days later while I was looking in the mirror doing my hair, it was gone I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but no so I saw a Derm doc, but they couldn't figure out what happened or what it was. They did a biopsy in which I ended up with an infection, but they never figured out what happend. My skin color came back, and that never happened again. Be Blessed.
