We are swimming with whales, and not diving. We only do this where it is permitted by law. Your statement is not correct, it is illegal in some countries. Also, it is not harmful to the animals when done responsibly, as we practice this as well. As a matter of fact in the majority of countries worldwide there are rules regulating the way we can swim with the whales, not forbidding. As Insider Divers we encourage governments to implement a permit system to control the amount and quality of people swimming with whales. Where there are is a permit system we always pay and adhere to the rules.
Pretty sure swimming in the water nearby them isn’t illegal, specifically, but touching them isn’t allowed, except in some places, like Mexico, with the friendly gray whales people touch and kiss… hmm. 🤔 Likewise, nor is it legal in most places to “pursue” or chase marine animals, if they’re actively avoiding you… and definitely not legal to pursue them with the intention of hunting, killing or otherwise bothering them negatively. Unless it’s Norway or Japan, lol.
Incredible sightings!
Beautiful underwater, this is remind me of my home island. The island of Truk Lagoon!!!
Whale diving is illegal. Its reckless and harmful to the animals. Don’t promote this.
