The more whale/dolphin documentaries (amazing) that one watches, the more one feels a kinship with these creatures and the more one wants them to survive and flourish (and the more one feels horror that humans have pillaged and polluted the oceans and hunted whales almost to extinction). I hope the scientists/engineers who are working on communicating with whales/dolphins are successful and tyet we can learn from them.

I’ve seen the whales at Pacifica one Sumer they fed everyday together like this! I had never seen them so close to land! I didn’t even imagine how big they are when I saw only their mouths! It made me real quiet and in awe. I was obsessed and went everyday to sit at the beAch ... magical creatures!

I've known for a while now, for many different reasons, that Orcas are absolutely tip of the apex predators, but it still puts me in a state of awe sometimes seeing these incredible sequences of shots that clearly show just how terrifyingly intelligent, ruthless and powerful they really are. I truly think that, with the exception of humans (and possibly Sperm Whales, who we may never truly get to see hunt at full force because of the depth, speed and distance at which their hunts occur), there is no other creature on Earth more terrifying than a pod of Orcas, or even just a lone roamer. The big cats (Cougar, Jaguar, Lions, Tigers, etc.)come close to them on land and some large dog species (Wolves, Hyena, etc.) have similar teamwork, sharks have similar power but lack coordination and dolphins have teamwork but not as much raw power, but orcas have excellent coordination skills, and just the shape of them _oozes_ raw power like nothing else. More than a *_FOOT_* of pure muscle on _each_ side of those jaws makes me wonder if anything short of pure stone stands a chance at surviving it's bite.
Sharks aren’t even close to the power of an orca, they avoid them at all costs lol but it’s a very good thing none of their cultures thought humans tasted good at one point and put us on the menu
Orcas are true monsters and i am very happy that they are bound to the ocean. But thei are facinating too, theyre a natural predator of mooses since moose like to dive and feed on algae. Orcas hunt Moose....

I have watched so many David Attenborough documentaries and they never get old.... Even watched many over and over again (wanted to make sure i didn't miss a second) lol they never get old to me, I could truly watch anything he narrates!! My favorite is the ocean I find every single thing about the oceans fascinating.. Another really intriguing documentary he narrates is one about Madagascar that was amazing too its so cool to think out of the whole entire world that is the only place with lemurs.... For those who've pulled themselve out of water on to a boat know how difficult it can be soak n wet.That polar bears strenght is amazing not to mention it out swam a seal.
It's a lot easier than pulling yourself up to a similar height without water though. I pull myself up from the water to a dock all the time when i'm swimming and the water makes it easier due to you being "lighter" in the water. Not to mention the bear doesn't have any clothes that would absorb the water and become heavy because of it. The fur doesn't work like clothes. And it probably didn't outswim the seal. Just barely caught it when he lunged to the water after it due to having higher inital speed.

The more whale/dolphin documentaries (amazing) that one watches, the more one feels a kinship with these creatures and the more one wants them to survive and flourish (and the more one feels horror that humans have pillaged and polluted the oceans and hunted whales almost to extinction). I hope the scientists/engineers who are working on communicating with whales/dolphins are successful and tyet we can learn from them.

I’ve seen the whales at Pacifica one Sumer they fed everyday together like this! I had never seen them so close to land! I didn’t even imagine how big they are when I saw only their mouths! It made me real quiet and in awe. I was obsessed and went everyday to sit at the beAch ... magical creatures!

I've known for a while now, for many different reasons, that Orcas are absolutely tip of the apex predators, but it still puts me in a state of awe sometimes seeing these incredible sequences of shots that clearly show just how terrifyingly intelligent, ruthless and powerful they really are. I truly think that, with the exception of humans (and possibly Sperm Whales, who we may never truly get to see hunt at full force because of the depth, speed and distance at which their hunts occur), there is no other creature on Earth more terrifying than a pod of Orcas, or even just a lone roamer. The big cats (Cougar, Jaguar, Lions, Tigers, etc.)come close to them on land and some large dog species (Wolves, Hyena, etc.) have similar teamwork, sharks have similar power but lack coordination and dolphins have teamwork but not as much raw power, but orcas have excellent coordination skills, and just the shape of them _oozes_ raw power like nothing else. More than a *_FOOT_* of pure muscle on _each_ side of those jaws makes me wonder if anything short of pure stone stands a chance at surviving it's bite.
Sharks aren’t even close to the power of an orca, they avoid them at all costs lol but it’s a very good thing none of their cultures thought humans tasted good at one point and put us on the menu
Orcas are true monsters and i am very happy that they are bound to the ocean. But thei are facinating too, theyre a natural predator of mooses since moose like to dive and feed on algae. Orcas hunt Moose....
I would've helped the seal. Poor thing was terrified. Sometimes those orcas just kill for fun and not food. I love whales, sperm whales, humpback and blue whales etc, whales are my favourite animal, but orcas, not so much

I have watched so many David Attenborough documentaries and they never get old.... Even watched many over and over again (wanted to make sure i didn't miss a second) lol they never get old to me, I could truly watch anything he narrates!! My favorite is the ocean I find every single thing about the oceans fascinating.. Another really intriguing documentary he narrates is one about Madagascar that was amazing too its so cool to think out of the whole entire world that is the only place with lemurs.... So incredibly cool...

Japan claims that it has filtered the nuclear wastewater before discharging it. But a few times earlier, many radioactive isotopes were detected from the water sample or dead fish found in the nearby area. So far, Japan claims that the wastewater contains only Tritium at an internationally accepted level. Still, Tritium is radioactive and could pose a threat to the underwater ecosystem since the wastewater release will continue in the NEXT 30 YEARS!!!!! ...

For those who've pulled themselve out of water on to a boat know how difficult it can be soak n wet.That polar bears strenght is amazing not to mention it out swam a seal.

It's a lot easier than pulling yourself up to a similar height without water though. I pull myself up from the water to a dock all the time when i'm swimming and the water makes it easier due to you being "lighter" in the water. Not to mention the bear doesn't have any clothes that would absorb the water and become heavy because of it. The fur doesn't work like clothes.
And it probably didn't outswim the seal. Just barely caught it when he lunged to the water after it due to having higher inital speed.
