- Friends, a very blessed and happy Easter to you all! The Resurrection of Jesus is the be-all and the end-all of the Christian faith. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, then all bishops, priests, and Christian ministers should go home and get honest jobs. If he did rise from the dead, then he's the full manifestation of God, and he must be the center of your life. In light of that, I'd like to look at three great lessons that follow from this strange and decisive truth of the Resurrection.

This sermon touches my heart deeply. I love it when Bishop Barron talks about the mercy of God. I was a lost sheep living deep in sexual sins and was brought back through God's infinite love and mercy. This Bible verse resonated with me, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." I tasted Heaven after my profound conversion that brought so much joy into my heart. I went from a lukewarm Catholic with a 50% conviction of eternal life to 100%. I owed much of this firm faith to our Blessed Mother, who intervened at the darkest time in my life to save my marriage 15 years ago in Medjugorje. Faith is a gift from God. He did an amazing job in transforming my hardened heart.

I lost my wife 2 years ago due to the pandemic and I was about giving up, knowing G0d has brought me this far was for a purpose and I kept on looking on to him. My destiny helper was sent to me the year my wife died. The moment I was about giving up, I was introduced to a business by a man I met in a seminar I went to in Florida. This was not my first time hearing of such business but I took the risk Investin 1000 USD and it was worth it feedback@markhanfarmer. COM 4 weeks later I kept on getting earnings and I started using the m0ney for G0ds wOrk. I am very popular in Maryland. Doing Gods work always give me joy. There is peace and joy in my mind. I am here to motivate you and tell you never to give up even though the situation seems so though, God has promised his children and he will surely d0 what he has promised his children.

Just returned from an amazing Easter vigil mass. I was a god parent to a OCIA member. I could not be more proud of my faith.
He is the Alpha and the Omega. The uncaused cause. The entire reason for all of us, for everything. The fact that He who created the universe cared so much about us that in His form the Son became a humble little life form and took on all of our limitations only in the end to crush these limitations by reversing death should make anyone with a brain stop and kneel. Every time bishop Robert Barron speaks makes me tear a little, I reach a level of realization by listening to him. May God continues blessing him with wisdom and the gift of speech.
To add a sharper point to the many other complementary comments concerning this Easter sermon, as an 82 year old who has been “churched” all my life this stands as the finest Resurrection explanation ever. Praise God for the gifts He has given Robert Barron. That said, I pray for his continuing humility.

The entire point of Christianity summed up in the first 3 minutes of the video so artfully, yet bluntly articulated. Bishop Baron has prayed and listened to what the Holy Spirit wants him to say. Spoken as a true successor of the Apostles! “for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Lk. 12:12

Thank you, Bishop Barron. If I could give only one reason why I believe in the resurrection of Jesus and the eternal hope it provides, it is the "Acts"/actions of the apostles. They were poor, unlettered men, and there was absolutely NOTHING in it for them in telling the story except hardship and suffering and, for most, a tortuous earthly death. BUT. They couldn't NOT tell the story, regardless of the dangers to them personally! THAT'S how compelling Christ's resurrection was and IS. Thank you, Lord Jesus! He lives! ❤️ Happy Easter, all!

Bishop Barron I had never heard the explanation you gave for why Catholics cross themselves. "The Father sending down the Son and the Holy Spirit gathering us in". Loved it.

At our church we have a physician that spoke about Jesus's death and what he went through thank you Lord Jesus for all that you've done for us sinners myself and for the world repent and believe in the gospel Jesus died for us all but we must do right his will not ours

You are free to believe that is objectively moral for babies and children to suffer pain and death, I don't.
The fact that everyone suffers to differing degrees doesn't make the suffering of children right, neither does it alter the fact that the Jesus suffering is less than countless children.
I also make no excuse for being emotionally deeply upset by childhood suffering.

I am sorry that you feel the need to write in such a way that it is hard to understand and yet serves to try and poison the minds who find, Bishop Barron, a light in a dark world. I am not new to Catholicism and his weekly homilies are on point with all that I have read, witnessed, pondered, prayed, and come to believe. I feel if you need to vent your, to me, erroneous and malicious beliefs, you do so to an audience that would care to read/listen to your esoteric and “unkind” statements meant to harm another person, and in fact many persons who enjoy the I will keep you in my prayers.
I cannot describe how beautiful these sermons are. If Jesus didn’t resurrected, all Christian faith is in vain. But Jesus resurrected, so our faith is not in vain! Happy Easter everyone!

Reading this after a packed Holy Week, getting ready this Easter morning to celebrate Holy Mass in our two churches. My feet hurt, my voice is hoarse, I feel a bit “ punch drunk”…but this preaching of the Resurrection is a tonic. Thank you Bishop Robert. May the saints protect you and may we all pray for you. As so many others have rightfully said, thank you Bishop Barron for this homily.The deep longing of the human heart, yes even in it's profound hopelessness and depth of sorrow finds it's hope, love and faith in the life giving emptying sacrifice of Christ, culminating in His resurrection.
