    Ingredients :
--500 ml Milk ( UltraPasteurized OR Pasteurized Milk)
Please see all the methods as the procedure is different for all of them
    --1 TBSP Yogurt cultured
This method explains , how to make curd (or Dahi ), Indian style yogurt in instant pot using Pasteurized and ultraPasteurized milk. I have used 3 kinds of milk in this recipe, the first one is A2 MILK, FAIRLIFE WHOLE MILK, and Costco Pasteurized Milk.
This is cold start method so no boiling, no steaming is required to make curd. If you want to make flavored yogurt than you can add cream , sugar and flavoring into it and it will make the same consistency yogurt.

Can you mix the table spoon of cultured yogurt to cold organic ultra pasteurized milk? There is no need for the milk to be in room temperature right? Lastly, horizon/A2 or any ultra pasteurized should work, correct?

Nidhi, I tried this. For some reason the texture does not come out the same as boiled, cooled down method. I felt it's little different. When I boil the texture and taste is more like India yogurt. I do once and twice and then go back to my traditional boil method.

Do everything in the initial steps and wrap the covered vessel in a thick towel to blanket and set in a warm part of house- duration depends on humidity, season, I reside in Montana-dry- so I have to wait many hours longer. Before instant pot I would place vessel in oven and leave the oven light on- no blanket required. Don’t turn the oven on, just the switch to the light.
