I love this tank. I saved it because I will be restarting my hobby and am in the planning stages. This is the look I want and will be using as a reference. Thank you. Love the hair grass.
Hi mike I just want to thank you so much for all of the great things you have taught me. I have a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium and I am soon going to renovate and turn it into a planted tank just like yours. Keep being awesome!
Dude, I LOVE the new aquascape!!!! First, let me take a crack at your next tank... I want to say desert, but that doesn't leave much toward plants... and I know you love plants. Not to mention you have planned for CO2. But... you also like a challenge. Mountain or desert... Okay, desert! I really thought the right side was too heavy, but once the plants were added the green highlights really balanced the overall feel. Very cool thing you did there. I'm curious how you feel about the possible difficulties in cleaning the back wall. Do you think it will be hard to access now that the spider wood is siliconed to the back? Keep up all the good work. I love your mixture of science and art. You've truly added a lot to the youTube fish keeping community!
I love how you do stuff that I never think of and when I do in my own aquarium I think "why have I never done this before?" I love your vids and that is one of the reasons. Also could your other one be a cold water tank?
i love these videos so much. but man, these videos are so much more fun high. something about watching you create these kinds of tanks from nothing is wild. love the videos, keep it up.
Awesome looking aquarium already Mike! Really really like it and it will only get better as the plants properly establish and livestock are added. I would guess the next tank is going to be densely planted Good luck and I look forward to the updates. Peace Ben
I like the aquascape quite a lot. The only thing I would have done differently is to two pieces of spiderwood: one on each side reaching toward each other, with the middle between the rock islands open.

AQUAPROS some panchax other name the golden wonder killi lovely fish looks like a crocodile 🐊🐊, with some tiger barbs🐯. Or a African butterfly fish to look pretty in the jungle. Sorry if I sound dumb I'm drunk
Great work .I'm new to planted tank .I have lbs co2 tank setup sitting in the store I was wondering if I can use it on 10 gallon tank or it will be to much for 10 gallon tank .thanks
I'm doing my first planted tank. I really want it to be an open top, but I'm stocking it with african butterfly fish. Would egg crate spray painted black be okay? And if so, is there any way to make it a hinged top?
I recently got one of those finnex 247 planted lights for my 40gallon long. I have it in 24 hour mode, and I'm running my co2 12 hours per fay from 6am to 6pm. Does that sound like good co2 timing? I'm unsure how to time the co2 since the lighting is kind of on all the time. Thanks!
I really dig your unconventional use of mainstream hardscape goods, it challenges others to think outside the ADA/YT famous methods. Keep up the good work bro
Wasn't a big fan at the beginning but the 3days later changed my mind it's looking great! Only thing is I'm not a big fan of gluing the moss tot the wood. Good overall video can't wait for the fish!
I think that might be your best creation! Wonderful! As for the filter, depending on the stock, I'm not sure you'll be able to get away with it. The levels of oxygen won't be enough due to the Co2 injection.
Try doing an arctic theme for the other tank. That would be just opposite to the jungle theme. You should put in some sort of black and white fish in the arctic theme to represent penguins. BTW Nice job on the aquascape!
YOU FINALLY DID A JUNGLE! Great job Mike! There is much beauty to be seen in this style of aquascaping!😄
Neon Tetra Aquarist agreed
Neon Tetra Aquarist yup ..Have you see me before
This looks really great. Love the use of spider wood here, I am inspired!
I love this tank. I saved it because I will be restarting my hobby and am in the planning stages. This is the look I want and will be using as a reference. Thank you. Love the hair grass.
I actually think this is one of your best scapes. I think it will be a true beauty when the plants settles in.
Hi mike I just want to thank you so much for all of the great things you have taught me. I have a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium and I am soon going to renovate and turn it into a planted tank just like yours. Keep being awesome!
Tank looks fantastic! I'll be curious to see how the system handles any food/waste that gets trapped in the rocks. Really nice job.
Love your tanks. You always manage to bring something unique and visually pleasing. Awesome job!
I love the scape too it looks like one of the scrapes I had on my 40 gallon 🙂
This is one of the best ideas for an aquascape, awesome video as usual mike
I love the top down approach with the wood!!
WOW! Your videos are always just so well done! I'm blown away every time by the gorgeous aquascapes and the video quality overall! 10/10 as usual!
VERY VERY creative.....I LOVE the look of the Jungle Tank!!!!
I think the next tank will be a desert tank with mabey some African cichlids or African barbs. You should get shell dwellers
Dude, I LOVE the new aquascape!!!!

Probably my new favorite tank of yours
This tank looks awesome.
Dude your aquaecapes are always on point! Great tank I LOVE the hard scape in it.
great look ... honestly the best tank yet ...
I wan't too keen on this scape at first, but as soon as you added the moss it really came together. Looks great!
Can't wait to see it stocked looks amazing
This tank is awesome !! I hope the upcoming fish will look good in it ! 👏
Nice setup! I'm guessing iwagumi for the other tank.
Do an arctic themed tank
Just add white sand and a few black neon tetras or penguin tetras. Lol the Arctic is pretty barrren.
I kinda like the sound of barren.
Awesome looking. Will I have to do a large water change a couple of days after set up?? Will have a seeded filter
I really like it, that tank look's really awesome. Gives me some ideas for my next tank.
Like the tank and will enjoy watching it evolve.
Awesome looking aquarium already Mike! Really really like it and it will only get better as the plants properly establish and livestock are added. I would guess the next tank is going to be densely planted Good luck and I look forward to the updates. Peace Ben
I learned a lot of great tips here . I may want to recreate some of this stuff . Great video Mike
That's how it's done. Definitely will look awesome with the fish swimming through the driftwood. Add some Buces dude!
I like the aquascape quite a lot. The only thing I would have done differently is to two pieces of spiderwood: one on each side reaching toward each other, with the middle between the rock islands open.
I really like that tank with the spider wood!
That tank looks awesome mike i love it man
Great idea with driftwood on the glass.
Make the other a mountain-like one with lots of rocks and coral!
Try make a mini cave too, that'd look so neat

AQUAPROS maybe some tiger barb? They would look like tigers in the jungle 🐯
AQUAPROS maybe some cichlids
AQUAPROS some panchax other name the golden wonder killi lovely fish looks like a crocodile 🐊🐊, with some tiger barbs🐯. Or a African butterfly fish to look pretty in the jungle. Sorry if I sound dumb I'm drunk
I think Kilifish would be pretty amazing
AQUAPROS you should put some African dwarf frogs in the tank
Where do you get the spider wood from? Not to sure where to get it online.
Great idea siliconing the wood to the back. I love the Lava Rock! How are you going to be able to clean behind it?
Looks really good.
Attempting my first true aqua scape soon, thinking along the lines of a creepy woods but that could change lol
Awesome setup. 👍
that tank look amazing
Those blue+ white shrimp on that shrimp website look kool
Beautiful tank are you going to do a recap of all the setups that are complete soon
great! just a question those rocks are not putting to much pressure in the glass?
So sick! Beautiful scape!
Great work .I'm new to planted tank .I have lbs co2 tank setup sitting in the store I was wondering if I can use it on 10 gallon tank or it will be to much for 10 gallon tank .thanks
How did the silicone fixing the roots / wood to the aquarium hold up? Still all attached?
Love the little dinosaur!!
your best set in my opinion! keep up the good work :)
Wow, thats beautiful.
are we just going to ignore the random raptor
+Gandalf The Fabulous 😁
Gandalf The Fabulous
LOL I was like wtf
Yes. Yes we are
Lol one be freshwater, the other saltwater.!
Nice thanks for the video got a bunch of good ideas im just into aquascaping love it.
That's a LOT of lava rock
Damn, now I want to do a planted tank......but would my cichlids be ok with it...
Depends on the personality and species. May end up digging them out, may not.
Welcome To My Fish Tank just peacocks, no mbuna
It depends on the cichlid.
I love how the wood comes out of water
Where do you get the monteray beach sand??? It looks really nice.
go for like a desert theme, you could use some old pottery for decor and some chica wood
Looking beautiful...
Could be your best aquascape yet! Beautiful. But I am not sure about the filtration...
JPs VlogUK Very nice!
Zacks Tanks Crazy Aquarium Guy
The filtration doesn't have to be extreme in planted tanks
Is the center brace necessary after removing the black trim off of the 20 long?
Your aquascapes are awesome. :) I wanna create a tank like that
Does the co2 from that corner go around the whole aquarium good? Because there isnt a fast flow in that space of the aquarium?
Kinda new to the whole co2 thing, but what does co2 help with? I've never ran co2 on any of my aquariums, and my plants do fine.
Awesome looking tank looking forward to the other tank. I'm guessing dessert tank
This is beautiful!!!!
Is that the de-rimmed 20 gallon aquarium from the project?
Your a talented aqua scaper Mike
So is it a doppelgänger tank? They are the opposite but the same.
I'm doing my first planted tank. I really want it to be an open top, but I'm stocking it with african butterfly fish. Would egg crate spray painted black be okay? And if so, is there any way to make it a hinged top?
Neon tetras would look awesome in there
Great aquascape ☺️
Awesome video!!!! 🤙🏼
Thanks!
Idk if you've have already scaled it back but I think it would be like ice as the jungle is warm and active while the Icelands are bare and calm
I really dig your unconventional use of mainstream hardscape goods, it challenges others to think outside the ADA/YT famous methods. Keep up the good work bro
Hey sir .if we plant on the river sand will the plants grow well
that is a really cool tank
I love your videos your great at aquascaping
Love the spider wood
Will the Finnex led light up a 90 gallon with high to medium lighting?
Love the aquascape
Looks great!!
Some Skull Creek, Crimson Spot or Chequered Rainbows? One of the smaller types.
In the other tank put Desert Gobies.
Amazingly beautiful 😆 👌
is the potting mix you used branded?
Desert scape with red lava rock or reddish brown hardscape, maybe an off white or brownish sand
Looks awesome.
Lol you definitely tricked me with that velociraptor haha
Where do you get the Monterey beach sand btw?
Wasn't a big fan at the beginning but the 3days later changed my mind it's looking great! Only thing is I'm not a big fan of gluing the moss tot the wood. Good overall video can't wait for the fish!
George Hennon glue don't hurt plants or fishes
Do something mountain or open field inspired for the other. Maybe something heavily hardscaped with little plants?
Guppies would look so cool in there.
How many pounds of lava rock did you use???
I think that might be your best creation! Wonderful! As for the filter, depending on the stock, I'm not sure you'll be able to get away with it. The levels of oxygen won't be enough due to the Co2 injection.
Was it mentioned that the silicone should be aquarium-safe type, such as GE1, and not GEII ?
Do some African dwarf frogs also so it looks like there are frogs on the forest floor
Try doing an arctic theme for the other tank. That would be just opposite to the jungle theme. You should put in some sort of black and white fish in the arctic theme to represent penguins. BTW Nice job on the aquascape!
looks great!
