Just different circumstances. Peep is gone and she'll never get that chance in this lifetime and the only man I've ever felt truly in love with left me for someone else and had a family with them and pretty much all the things he never gave me. And the "what could've beens" completely fucking destroy you as a person. It's been 10 years and I'm in my mid 30s now and I will always feel a sense of loss and to this day have never met anyone close to what ever I felt for him. Some shit you just can't heal from, but finding Peep's music a few weeks ago by complete chance / accident has filled some sort of much needed emotional void in my life that I only wish I knew sooner.
