    Seems like more people would do this instead of wasting money on longer reg screws, lol. Great Video!!!

      Bypass is a choice that you dont know you needed until you needed it. Many dont own chronographs and this a fool proof way for max velocity.

    Another great video!

      Thanks. Oldie but a goodie. Bypassing is a good way to actually determine if your regulator spring is weakened.

      Oldie for some, but not for others 😀 As the community grows, it would be good to redo some of these videos touching on the good, the bad, and the ugly of some of these mods.

      @Sola_Scriptura_1.618 very true. Got so many videos stuff gets buried easily.

    With a stock pepperball gun, what fps can you get with 8 gram projectiles?

    I have a fsc with just the milsig oring upgrade. Should I do this next?

      Do I need the prv delete upgrade?

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  8 месяцев назад

      You need to do a prv delete to do a bypass. You can reach the same velocity adjusting the velocity as you can as a bypass but the factory reg spring will weaken over time and you will drop power.
      Should you do the bypass….no. Turn your marker up first and see how it does with a chrono.

      Don’t have a chrono unfortunately but I have it turned up to the max and then a quarter tic back. It’s cool but I’d still like it to be stronger I bet it’s between 25-30 joules. Using grimburg v3 round balls (8grams) Appreciate you

      A bypass only eliminates that fine line of good tuning. A tic back is spoken like a good tuner 🙂
      A bypass will never produce higher fps unless you are adjusted too low or your regulator spring is weak/worn.
      Now the fact you dont have a chrono might say you are adjusted too low and would benefit a bypass. If you have plans to add a chrono stay where you are at for now.

      @@lesslethalfordummies good to know thanks. Any opinions on sterling defenses magnetic barrel? Trying to decide what my next modification would be not interested in hpa or a barrel longer then 5inch.

    Does it have to be a Canadian penny? Nice job Sean😎

    Would the cap on the side you used the penny on fit on the other side your looking for a plug? If so can you order one from somewhere? Try it.

      Unfortunately no. First thing I tried. It appears to be a one off for the regulator so it looks as though I will need to drill and tap the hex key hole for a set screw.

    Does the spring size matter if you dont bypass the reg? I heard that under 32mm spring causes low numbers.

      Spring length is no longer relevant when you bypass the FS regulator. I only reinstall it to keep the RV pad in alignment.

    Excellent! With CO2 capsule does it makes sense?

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Год назад +1

      It makes sense if you just want maximum power. If you are trying to balance power and shot count then no it is better to keep regulator in service.

    Would this work on a VKS? Recommend?

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  2 года назад +5

      This could absolutely work on the VKS. Recommended? I am gonna say no just because some of the parts are more difficult to come by for the VKS should any problems arise. Again any of these bypass mods I do are really just a way to simplify the max setting on your regulator but with less moving parts. My ultimate goal is to have less failure points ie orings and springs.
